AUTO Afgan XXL -- 00seeds

OportoGrow Hi there, I decided to start my first grow journal, something i'm a bit nervouse about, i personally don't like to expose myself, but as people normaly say, u got to get out of your confort zone so u can evolve. This is the first week of the grow, we grow mainly Auto plants, they are still in the veg tent (we have 2 tents, 1 for veggin other for growing) cause space is limited and we can only use so much so we had to create a different way that we could have more plants (when i say we, it's me and my partner btw) Normally we like to do extensive LST, Topping and Lolypopping, if the plants as growing nice and steady, for now 2 of them still have their cap on i'm hopping they gonna loose it this week On the last photos we are gonna leave a photo of the White Widow auto - 00seeds that's about to come off, so u can have and idea of what i'm talking about

OportoGrow Hi there, We'r back with our little Afghan Mass XXL from 00seeds, it's been a very active week for them. On the very next day after i made the post they got rid of their little "cap" (the outer shell structure they sometimes keep over them) and been growing very well since then, i also added a "cyclone" rotating fan, wich we set to the minimum speed. I still think we have stalled "air" inside, i don't like the way we set the enterance air flow. Something we'll have to think about later, i know autos are supose to be strong but i guess 30º celcius is a bit high even for an auto. A couple more weeks and i can move them to the final tent for final veg and flowering. The tent is currently being used by a huge RQS Cheese Auto, one of thoose freebies that are nothing special but we had space and time. Last Photo will be about her. One Love 👽

OportoGrow Hi there, Back again with our little friends !! They had an amazing week, we finally were able to start our training on the little ones, we Topped them down to the 3rd notch and started to do some LST so we can widen the branches out pretty good. We don't particulary like big plants, they take up a lot of space, and sometimes the difference in the yield is not enough to take up all that space and time. So we gonna try to keep them pretty small basically and pretty wide! On the down side of the week, one of the Afghan was having a slow start so we decided to postpone it's topping, but during the week she endend up sprinting up and we decided that the best thing would be to Top her down anyway, hope it was a wise decision ahah!! Gonna try to add a photo of the cheese, she's been doing great but i'm not expecting anything 2 outrageous out of her, but we've been trying a new dose for the final weeks and keeping all her feeds at least at 1700PPM, so it's a big experiment that i hope works out ! OportoGrow Hello everyone! we'r back for our 4th update!! And what a update this will be, we had a very very big week, our LST is going great, and they little ones reacted wonderfully to the topping!! But i guess i'll let the photos speak for me.. like usually we do, the last photos will be of our more advanced plant, getting wonderfull and big ! One love !!

OportoGrow Hi there, This was one of the biggest weeks we had in more than a year!! We'r finally able to update our vegetation stage tent, something out of an emergency actually. There's a huge heat have in my country, that has lasted for a couple of weeks now, the bloom tent was doing just fine, we have the big A/C big exauhsting of air and a very nice ciclone fan, that just keeps it pretty stable at 26/25 celcius. But the Veg tent, that one OMG it was a fight, we couldn't keep it under control no matter what we did, we used to have a 150Watts HPS doing the trick, but it was such a smalll tent that, just that light and some unlucky weather raised our temperature to 36/37 celcius and dropped the humidity to 30 THAT'S HOW CRAZY IT WAS IN THERE !! But i gotta tell u something, 00seeds Auto Afghan Mass XXL, they just said F*ck you and kept on thriving, i don't think i've ever seen such a resilient and strong species! It was practically cooking in there, on a 24h lights scheduale, and they just kept on growing and staying green! amazing! will be groing this again for sure!!! Now to the good part, what did we do to fix this heat and lack of humidity problem ?? We just went full LED on that tent! got the new Solux, veg Light, full off blue spectrum so it can help the little ones thrive and grow, but most importantly, i always thought it was marketeers, salesmen speak or wtv.. ... but after we turned the light on, a couple of hours later, it went down a full 10 degrees celcius, and was rocking at 25/26 degrees celcius, and an astonishing humidity of 60% absolutly amaizing!! One of the best buys i've made for my plants in years. Well, we'll leave u with a couple of photos, plus our flushing of the RQS cheese!! cant wait to taste that one again, it's a freebie, but it grows hugeee!! With all the advances I hope it's as lush smelling and tastefull as ever ! One love Fam !

OportoGrow Hi there, We're back for our 6th week update, we moved the baby's around so we could get them in the big girls' tent! It's been a very busy time, we had a lot to do lately, so we kind had to leave them in to 2nd place. But I'll let all the pics do my speaking, I'm pretty pleased at the way things are going but there's always place for improvement right??!? One love from! keep it blazing

OportoGrow Hi there, The babys are huge, who ever thought they would be getting like this?? i know they are called XXL but.. honestly thought i would have a bit more space ahah! it's been an amazing trip with these ones, never smoked them yet, but i'm starting to get quite excited, she's strong.. she's pretty, hoping her high it's as good as she deserves!! it's been a crazy week!.. Thank god we invested in our setup on the main tent over the years and the heat wave wasn't even felt inside this beauty, rocking a steady 24º Celcius plus great humidity levels!.. just the lack of space for this one i guess, the WW was a way easier strain to control! still have some seeds of this, but i guess gonna save them, thinking of going cali next grow, either a purple punch auto or something like that! I guess i'll add a question on what are the best cali auto e your opinion and work from there !! Big hug and hope u enjoying this trip as much as i am ! One love fam, keep blaazing

OportoGrow Hi everyone, what a week!! The girls are going crazy! we've had a lot to do on a personal note, so it's one of thoose weeks were i have not much to say ! The girls are doing great, but i think these babys would be better suited for outdoor grow, or a bigger tent ahah, wich in our case is really not an option cause of space. OportoGrow And we're back with our little experiment on the Afghan side! We have bad news.. one of our little ones hermied on us, we got it out on time.. but mate, let me tell you, I was so disappointed.. I'm starting to understand that these things happen for some reason, but I guess I'm still not very used to it... I'll post some photos out of her.. they all have the same treatment, the same nutes and everything.. some things just are bigger than us The other 2 are looking great, starting to fatten up very well! Keep it blazing family, it's been a blast ! OportoGrow Final strech for our "little" one!! She's doing great, guess the lollipopping didn't go as well as we thought, I like big fat buds, and this one, well, I guess genetics isn't the only thing to think about honestly.. going back in time I think we were 2 busy unfortunate. It's a very busy phase of the year for us, and when she needed love and attention we couldn't do it we tried but wasn't enough Keep our heads up and focus on the next run, guess I'm saving the other 3 XXL for an outdoor grow next year, they just get too big and bushy, imo, it's a waste such a beautiful plant to be obliged to get like that, closed up inside a tent..
