Still kicking 🤞. Smelling quite fruity. Just a waiting game now. I’ve had issues with leaf die off this whole grow. Plants way of telling me “ you won’t kill me but I want you to know my pot environment sucks”. Lol. Adding photo of me beside a Bruce of same seed as this diary. It’s 10ft tall with wks to go. Crazy

kinda inevitable with coco, since you don't want to let the top 1" dry before watering like soil.
algea requires light.. it can't go into substrate.. you could remove the perlite on top, if you want... it serves no purpose there anyway.
i've left it befoer and had no issues. i mostly fill reservoir, thouhg.. .top-fed may get stripped of a minor amount of nutrients, maybe?
You can cover the top of the pot -- paper plates or something fancier that is made for the function.. blocking light will stop the growth in future. pain in the a@ to water, if not automated. i quit bothering, lol.

With this little plant grown outside, will my indoor LED be adequate to bloom her? Thought might be to hardened to intensity of sun?

@Med_in_Tropic, definitely starts inside or on top of leaf. The fuzzy membrane on underside of leaf is intact. Just a little glossy where spots above.

maybe even put a straw/tube to the bottom then flush that way... I'm guessing the pot is really small to do anything like that. Good luck with the drain 🤞👍
