This is going to be my second attempt with Dinafem's Dinamed. The first time ended poorly because my kids unknowingly unplugged some of my equipment last time... Oops! I've had a couple of grows since that one, but I'm still very, very new to all of this. I've certainly learned my lessons over the past couple of grows, so I'm eager not to make the same mistakes twice. This should be an interesting grow, though, because it's starting to get into the warmer months and the location of the tent is somewhere that can get quite warm (note to self: perhaps it's time to try out one of those CO2 bags to justify the heat and make use of it). For the purposes of this grow, I'll be using the Grow Weed Easy dosing of GH Flora Trio nutes using RO water as the base (and I hope this is a good idea - I'm more than open to advice)... I'll also be attempting a mainline technique on this grow, so wish me luck! I've suped up my equipment, too - just upgraded to a Spider Farmer SF-2000 grow light and a GH air pump (very exciting!)
This week pretty smoothly aside from me splashing some res water on one of the tips of the plant (as you can see in one of the photos with a burned edge). All good aside from that - the growth should start booming now as the roots have finally hit the water. It’s crazy how much more growth I’m seeing at the bottom of this lady with the new light - I’m hopeful! Onward to next week!
Started adding in some RapidStart this week. Hoping to see some extra performance in this lady. I haven’t really used it before, so wish me luck! Looks like next week or the following week I’ll be able to do some work towards manifolding... Stay tuned!
This week I finally reached enough nodes where I felt comfortable to start manifolding (a.k.a. mainlining depending on who you talk to). All went very well and I’m eager to see how she handles it! *Fingers crossed*
Things are looking good so far... Really starting to fill out now. Mainlining of course requires more time in veg, but I'm hoping it pays off in the end. This will be my first successful attempt at mainlining if all goes well. Wish me luck!
Mainlining is officially complete this week 😊 The shape is really showing now and it's looking great (in my opinion). I have a feeling there's a lot more LST to be had, but we shall see.
SHIT! Just when things were looking good, I messed up and snapped one of my mains on the left 😔 Damn. Aside from that, she's looking very strong and she's really starting to get that "tabletop" wreath look - NICE!
Just switched over to flower this week. While I'm still upset a bit about last week, things are really looking good right now... Let's hope things continue to progress this way! Excited to see what's to come this time around. Also it looks like I lost track of my counter in the photo. Oops!
Didn’t remember to take enough photos this week. Sorry about that, folks. Aside from that, things are looking great and I’m excited for the weeks to come. Stretch is in full effect!
One more lackluster week on the photo front. Work is too busy! Next week I’ll have more photos 😊 Great stretch this week. Will trim some excess stuff at the bottom next week. Things are looking really nice this time around!
Yay! More photos this week. Pistils are starting to pop out - it’s an exciting time of the grow when she’s right about to show her goodies! Very, very solid grow and she’s nice and strong. Trimmed some of the lower excess out (not pictured)... Next week she should really start to bloom 😊 Only a few more inches that I can raise my light and then I’m SOL - seems like the stretch is slowing so I hope this is about it or I’ll run out of space. Super healthy lady!
Not much going on this week... A little further into flowering, but hopefully things will start progressing a little faster soon... She's still looking healthy and I'm out of room - hope that stretch is officially over!
While the plant definitely looks healthy (no question there), I'm a little nervous about where it's at in terms of bud sizes... I would have anticipated a little more bulk at this point, but Im a new grower and really don't know if it's something that I'm doing "wrong" or if it will surprise me one day and really start to take off. Removed a few fan leaves throughout the week to make sure all the bud sites were getting adequate light and ventilation - she's a thick plant! Hoping I'm just being paranoid and the buds start to fatten soon... I'm certainly open to suggestions...
Not much progress in terms of buds this week, however the plant looks extremely healthy. Looking forward to the upcoming weeks - I'm anticipating something nice!
Plant is looking great this week and the buds are getting way fatter! Very excited to see the progress she's making 😊 Moving to start flushing next week! Woohoo!
This grow was much better than my first botched attempt. I’m pleased with the amount I harvested and the overall taste and feel of the product. It’s an exceptionally smooth smoke and those that have tried it so far compliment me on just how smooth it is (no coughing whatsoever).
