Week two was uneventful and saw good progress. Up to this point, I have avoided transplanting autos as I had read that it would cause shock that their short lifespan would not tolerate without drastically affecting yields. That being said, I can definitely see the difference between seeds started in the larger final pots and those started in a smaller container such as solo cup. There is a marked difference in the speed with which the plant establishes itself if started in a smaller, more appropriately sized, container. On the final day of week 2 I transplanted her into her final 5g fabric pot with no issues. Prior to transplant, I allowed the soil to dry slightly more than I normally would have to allow it to pop easily out of the cup, which it did. She went right into her prepared spot without any disturbance to the roots or the cup-shaped ball of soil. I gave her a good watering and she has shown no signs of even being aware of the move!
I noticed some light yellowing on lower leaves so I have begun her nutrient regimen; 1.5tsp per gallon of both BioBizz Fish-Mix + BioBizz Grow and one tsp of Recharge was the dose I gave her just after transplant this week.
She's a beauty so far with very large fingered indica leaves. Looking forward to this harvest already.
