Greetings, fellow gardeners and thanks for following another one of my endeavors! My other outdoor auto project has gone quite well so I've decided to start another after coming across some Puff Puff Pass genetics via a trade with another grower. There seems to be quite a bit of buzz around PPUC gear as of late and I've been anxious to try my hand at some of their auto cultivars. Luckily, it seems I have found the perfect excuse to get started! As with my last outdoor run, this is sort of a hybrid grow. That is, she'll spend days outside basking in the summer sun and nights under a 400W HPS indoors. This week she spent half her time under a seedling lamp and the other half under the 400W HPS with the other auto I bring in at night. The weather here will take seedling down in a matter of hours so I want to get her good and hardy before transitioning to the majority of time outdoors in week 2. Not much else to report as of right now. Just looking forward to seeing how she grows! Thanks for following along and please click "Like" below if you dig what I'm doing here. Cheers! 👊🌱☮️✌️ TIMLINE OF GERMINATION: 2020/06/01 - Single Moon Pebbles seed given the paper towel treatment and placed on the seedling mat overnight. 2020/06/02 - Root tip visible within 12 hours. 2020/06/03 - Woke to seed above ground and fully unfurled. BREEDER INFORMATION: Bringing you another fire inhouse blend! Another outstanding specimen from 2018, Moon Pie combined with our #1 girl of 2018, the original and only Fruity Pebbles OG Auto. These girls go big in about 80 days with sticky flowers the size of your arm! Pungent, gassy, aged fruit, sweet, sharp vanilla with spoiled milk undertones. Mother: Moon Pie (Vanilla Kush x GSC Forum Cut) Father: Fruity Pebbles OG (Originally Jaws Genetics)

Week two was uneventful and saw good progress. Up to this point, I have avoided transplanting autos as I had read that it would cause shock that their short lifespan would not tolerate without drastically affecting yields. That being said, I can definitely see the difference between seeds started in the larger final pots and those started in a smaller container such as solo cup. There is a marked difference in the speed with which the plant establishes itself if started in a smaller, more appropriately sized, container. On the final day of week 2 I transplanted her into her final 5g fabric pot with no issues. Prior to transplant, I allowed the soil to dry slightly more than I normally would have to allow it to pop easily out of the cup, which it did. She went right into her prepared spot without any disturbance to the roots or the cup-shaped ball of soil. I gave her a good watering and she has shown no signs of even being aware of the move! I noticed some light yellowing on lower leaves so I have begun her nutrient regimen; 1.5tsp per gallon of both BioBizz Fish-Mix + BioBizz Grow and one tsp of Recharge was the dose I gave her just after transplant this week. She's a beauty so far with very large fingered indica leaves. Looking forward to this harvest already. Thanks for following along and please click "Like" below if you dig what I'm doing here. Week 3 progressed very well! So far she expresses a very healthy vigor and took the LST I began on day 19 extraordinarily well. Her stems did not seem as though they would be pliable enough for drastic bends initially but worked well to permit a 90 degree bend just after the first set of true leaves. I will continue to keep her low to establish a nice and even canopy. In my area it has been very overcast as of late so this plant and my late stage Critical Kush auto have both been soaking up LED hours in my tent. Unfortunately in an effort to keep RH low for the Kush girl in heavy flower, the VPD for Moon Pebbles is way off causing her to show some signs of humidity stress. That said, it isn't much better outside right now because of lack of rain so it will just have to do for the time being. She doesn't seem to mind too much. Fed another dose of Fish Mix + Bloom + Recharge just after LST to help her recover. She seems to love the BioBizz and bennies. Thanks for following along! Week four progressed well. She handles the LST like a champ and bounced back from the light defoliation that was necessary to reap the full benefits of her training. This is definitely a hardy strain. Not minding the 90F temps at all. Had to treat her with some light spinosad spray to do a bit of insect control. Won't be able to for much longer once she starts with budset. She smells already, a very deep and classic skunk scent and not a preflower to be seen. She's going to be a strong scented lady by week 8 or 9, I can tell already. Gave another dose of Fish Mix + Grow + Recharge for the week. She seems to love it. Not much else to report for now. Hoping to see signs of sex before the end of this next week. Thanks for following along! Please click "Like" below and subscribe to my diaries if you dig what I'm doing here. Cheers! 👊🌱☮️✌️

Week 5 has completed with good results. She continues to exhibit vigorous vegetative growth and has been a dream when it comes to LST and establishing an even canopy. Her hybrid vigor is definitely apparent in her hunger for nitrogen which I am happily accommodating with BioBizz Fish Mix and Bloom pHd to around 6.8. RealGrower's Recharge is given with every fertigation (approximately twice per week) otherwise she receives daily irrigation of plain pHd water to keep ahead of the summer heat. This is a great cultivar for the climate where I live and she tolerates the local insect population well. I continue to spot check daily for baddies and have, so far, only discovered a few leafhoppers here and there but no visible damage from their activity. I did see what appear to be larval thrips on the side of the pot but I am unsure as I have never dealt with those before. I happily welcome any insight into what they might be in the comments below! As of day 35 I have yet to see the emergence of any pistils but she has a pronounced skunk smell as I noted in my last update. I'm hoping week 6 will see her transition into flowering 🤞 That's all for this week. Thanks for following along and please click "Like" below if you dig what I'm doing here. Cheers! 👊🌱☮️✌️

Week progressed well but with no sign of sex being shown. At this point I was beginning to wonder if she was a photoperiod phenotype. I continued to feed veg nutes in anticipation of a long growing season for this one.

Week 7. Harvest

Happy Harvest Day!

I pulled a male in a group of supposedly feminized beans. That said, I'm going to rate this strain based on the ease of growing since I can't speak to how it medicates until I get a chance to run another. Based on the 7 weeks I grew this plant I was very happy with the results it produced. Very vigorous growth and hearty for outdoor resistance to pests, disease, and harsh weather.

So I was pretty disappointed when my autofem beans decided to give me a plant that identified as a male. I guess the biggest disappointment comes from, not only the time lost, but the fact that I was very happy with how this plant was set up for a very nice flower. I was thrilled with the LST work I had done and was definitely looking forward to a more fruitful end result. That said he was a dream to grow and, other than the sex, I was very happy with the genetics as far as vegetative growth and heartiness were concerned. Better luck next time I guess. This one will feed the compost pile nicely. Thanks for following my work and apologies for the anti-climactic end to this diary. 👊
