3 OG Kush Auto popped and planted directly in final container on Feb 4. As of Feb 11 they are 1 inch tall and on their way!! Water only. Not too much. Just enough around the seedling base to keep her moist 😜 2 Super Lemon Haze Autos popped and planted directly in final container on Feb 4. As of Feb 11 they are also 1 inch tall and on their way. Same watering as OGK's. 1 Super Lemon Haze did not pop so i kept it soaked for another 48 hours. It finally showed a little tap root so I planted her in a starter cup and put her under a 24 hour CFL. She's my late start. As of Feb 11 she has just breached the top of soil. I will transplant her into her final pot when she is about 7-10 days.

-First day of week 3. Feb 24. The slow start Super Lemon Haze Auto was transplanted into final container on Feb 20. She is smaller than the other two SLH but hasn't shown any signs of transplant shock. Sprinkled a pinch of Real Growers Recharge into transplant hole and then watered with a pinch of Build A Soil Aloe Powder and Real Growers Recharge in a Liter of water. -One of the OG Kush Autos is more vigorous than the other two. She is taller and has bigger leaves even though she germinated and was planted at the same time as the others. She is my front runner! -Current available sunlight is 11 hours 30 mins. I feel like the babies would be progressing more if there were more daylight hours. Maybe I started them too soon? The equinox will be March 20 at which time the daylight hours will be up to 12 hours 6 mins. The Solstice will be June 21 and the daylight hours will be maxed out at 13 hours 40 mins. I will run more to experiment with the increasing daylight hours. The heat will be an issue as I am in Karachi Pakistan and it gets HOT AF! ***Update End of week 3. March 2. The most vigorous are starting to show pistils. See pics for details.***

- First Day of week 4. March 3. Topped one of the Super Lemon Haze auto and one of the OG Kush auto. - Staked the three OG Kush autos for support. They have stretched more than the Super Lemon Hazes and needed some help in the windy outdoor conditions. - Still just water for all plants every 3-4 days depending on soil dryness. *** Watered the plants March 4 with the following: 1/4 teaspoon Aloe Flakes, 1/2 teaspoon Growers Recharge, 1/2 teaspoon Golden Tree in 6 Litres of water. Each plant received 1 Litre. *** ***End of week 4. March 9. All plants are showing lots of pistils. Feel like its too early for them to be flowering. Its only day 29! See photos for updates.*** ***Daylight hours are currently 11 hours 50 mins. Equinox is March 20. ***

I am growing three Super Lemon Haze Autos from Greenhouse seeds and three OG Kush Autos from Humbolt Seed Organization. They have just completed week 4 (Day 29). They are all showing lots of white hairs (pistils). Isnt it too early for them to be flowering?

It is prebloom, man. Mine SLHA began to prebloom same time. Earlier to prebloom - earlier harvest. That is the dutch seeds benefit.

Yo Yo Yo. Hahahhahahha. Im sorry my man but it could be way better for you . u can't really do nothing as far as pistils because autos have their own life cycle and by this i mean u cannot control(Reverse) them with 18/6 vegetative cycle. So just let them finish. And since autos have a short life cycle u need to start strong to have a good yield in the end. My man the seeds u had were good. I think your problem was the soil u were using... Im sure next time u will do way better... If you use feminised seeds don't forget to plant in a huge pot.... the bigger the pot the better the yield. But as for autos we go with more pots(small ones) better yields...

You're temps are way to high for a start, and you shouldn't top auto's - even when conditions are spot on they don't have enough recovery time before they flower so you hurt yield ( even seed company's don't recommend it !! )

- So my fears of inadequate daylight hours have come true. The plants are well into flowering but stunted. Like seriously stunted. Only one plant has any lateral branching (the topped Super Lemon Haze). All the others are one small main stem. Max height is about 7 inches. Disappointing but I had a feeling this would happen as mentioned in my earlier posts during veg. - Day 1 was Feb 9 and daylight hours were 11h12mins. Daylight has been increasing and as of today Day 36 (March16) it has reached 12 hours exactly. The official equinox will be in four days on March 20. - Lesson learned by experiment. Autos need more daylight hours. In my location the longest day of the year will be June 21 (summer solstice) at 13 hours 40 mins. I wonder if even that is enough? Seems like the autos would do better under lights. Especially keeping the lights on 20-24 hours like many growers in this and other forums do. The built in lifespan of autos cannot reach full potential with limited light. - All other factors are good. Substrate, inoculants, container size, nutrients, watering, temperature, humidity. Will just have to maximize what little yield I can get by getting the buds to swell as much as possible. BOGUS! - March 16 Day 36 did some defoliation to allow plants to focus energies into bud swelling. A 3 Liter solution of Water, 60 mL Organatrex, 6 teaspoons Bactrex and 1/8 teaspoon Sonic Bloom was prepared and each plant received 500 mL.

March 23. End of week 6. Day 43. - Having established that the plants are stunted due to inadequate daylight hours, I have no choice but to try and fatten up what few budsites are available. Shitty but oh well. Live and learn. Hence the experimental nature of this grow. Next run of autos will begin end of April when daylight hours will be 13 hours plus. - Watered today with a solution of 1 gallon water, 1/2 teaspoon Golden Tree, 1/2 teaspoon Recharge and 1/4 Sonic Bloom.

So the plants were stunted because of insufficient light hours. I suspected this would happen but it was all part of the experiment. All I could do was maximize the bud swell on the little plants. The picture is of the topped Super Lemon Haze. Its the only one worth posting a picture of. The 3 OG Kush Autos were small and stunted as well. They didnt fill out quite as much as the Super Lemon Hazes but smell great. This was a great learning grow. On to the next one! Lets get it!

@Fergie, Thanks man. I paid a visit to your Super Lemon Haze Auto timeline just to compare. In my last comment section I mentioned the lack of light hours for my outdoor grow. I noticed you ran your lights for 24 hours. Curious to see how 24 hour manmade light vs. 11 hour 32 min (as of this writing) natural sunlight compares. I am subject to the seasons and wondering if I started this run too soon. We'll see!!

I seriously doubt your buds developed so much in just 10 days or whatever is the difference from week 4 to week 5. I dont think youre updating this grow good. But thats just me.
