Had another really rough week suffered a little more rot on SA3 and on 1 main cola of LH, to be honest the liberty haze is getting close now and fingers crossed the rest looks really well, constantly trying to fight high humidity at the moment hate UK weather and how it changes, you get all 4 seasons in 1 day, caught humidity in 70 region, lights on its down to 30-45 due to the lights but lights off just cant get it down, bought a dehumidifier but it hasnt worked at all really so I have sent it back and got a monster 12 litre one coming thursday so fingers crossed they can hold on, the rest of the plants seem to be holding on really well regardless the SA2 is looking great nice purpling going on and the buds are so dense, same with the LH only had 1 cola suffer and caught it early, the rest looks good so fingers crossed, SA1 also looking well, not quite as nice as SA2 but so far has suffered no rot at all hopefully not jinxing myself here, SA3 has definitely suffered most but does still have a modest bit left on so hopefully can hold on to it and keep the rest safe, plenty of air flow going on, intake at bottom 5 inch fan, 5 inch extraction but more powerful fan, and a 8 inch clip fan oscillating across canopy, not long now on day 60 of flower and LH is 60-65 days and SA is 65-70 days, know this isnt a rule of thumb or anything to go by specifically but they are not far off now, hopefully just hopefully my first crop although has been hard and had some obstacles turns out to be somewhat successful, cant wait to go again feel like I've learned an awful lot on this first run I can do much better

Could be just nicks and bumps. Lower leaves dies off as bigger one develop is normal. In any case, your are growing haze hybrids and you should prepare incase there will be bugs attack down the line. First decide on a strategy. Then get your anti-insect regimen ready. For me, I spray microbes to handle bugs. If you have spider mite infestation, there won't be many days left before plants are ruined. Haze usually have strong resistance to mold. Also your humidity is low. So, I would not worry about mold in your grow.

If it's only one ding on one leaf, I'd say it might be a finger nail nicked it.

Droop is either a sign of under or overwatering.. only you could really tell which it might be here. The yellowing of lower leaves that aren't receiving much light aren't a big worry. I've pulled off quite a few. If you see problems arise on new growth or stuff that seems to be getting alot of light and now deep inside or way down low then i'd be more worried. Hope this helps friend. Happy growing!๐Ÿ‘Š

the bottom leaves yellowing is pretty normal. they do not receive very much light. the things that concern me would be the drooping leaves. Looking I believe maybe they where just watered which would explain why the leaves are drooping but the brownish spots usually are a sign of a Cal/Mag deficiency.

If RH is too high then go ahead and defoliate from the center of the plant to increase airflow. This won't necessarily reduce RH much, but it makes mold much less likely. It shouldn't take too much to open her up either so she probably won't even feel it. Do it all in one sitting though, you don't want to have to go back in a second time.

Heya Rob96, You can still remove some but I wouldnโ€™t go crazy. Can start with removing a couple each branch. RH isnโ€™t too high with lights off, thatโ€™s where I sit in my tent with lights off. I donโ€™t see it as too much of a concern as Iโ€™m always 45 with lights on and then dial it down with the bud swell when sheโ€™s really close. Cheers and good luck!

60 to 65 RH is not that bad. But anyway, sure you can remove some leaves / branches, just don't go overboard.

Does this bud look ok and healthy, bud looks a little dark and has had a few leaves go a strange brown/goldish colour, cant tell 100% with lack of experience, the part with the discoloration does smell a little less strong than the rest of the bud, any advice much appreciated

If those brown leaves are slimy, it's likely bud rot. If they are just crispy, you may be fine. Just a bonus, it looks like you're still going a bit heavy on the nitrogen...

Heya! Kind of hard to tell by the picture but, if you judge by the pistils usually 70-90% ambered is a good time to harvest. The best way is to use a small microscope or jewelers loupe to have a glance at the trichromes. Most people harvest when all the trichromes are milky to 30% amber. If you harvest with more milky trichs it will produce more of a head high effect, where as more amber trichromes will give you the couch lock effect. I would suggest looking at the trichs if you can, I have had plants ready to harvest with lots of white pistils left still and some where they were all brown. Cheers and good luck!

Hey man, good luck with your grow! I recently bought a green qube tent, you are also using it? What do you think about the quality? Im doing a run with liberty haze right now.
Rob96
Rob96commented4 years ago
@Chlorophyll_Junkie, yeah I had a jewelers loupe but I found it wasnt quite enough zoom so I bought a cheap microscope with a little light on off Ebay for like ยฃ4 works really well, to be honest I've had a really tough week this week I've suffered another bit of rot, I've upgraded my intake and got a better dehumidifier to stop it in its tracks, had a big cola on Liberty Haze brown inside and really wet and another on strawberry amnesia 3 gutted and to be honest not too sure why humidity probably because I've caught it at 65 lights off but seen a improvement now with better intake and dehumidifier, doesnt look to have spread further fingers crossed it hasn't, gutted enough as it is, I know it's a learning curve and all part of the experience so gonna carry on regardless, gonna go really light on water and try best to water as early as possible with lights just on
Chlorophyll_Junkie
Chlorophyll_Junkiecommented4 years ago
@Rob96, sounds good man! do you check the trichomes by a microscope to see if the THC is already on the best point to cut down?
Rob96
Rob96commented4 years ago

I am excited to see how your Strawberry Amnesia turns out. I am growing a cutting from last round and she is one of my favorite smokes. The bean I popped grows hella lanky though, I think I might pop the rest next run and take cuttings from the best. Looking good though, keep up the great work. I look forward to seeing her develop!

@FoTwenny, I'm debating what to try next with this being my first one got so many too choose from I have no experience with, been looking at barneys farm ayahuasca purple, looks amazing and 100% Indica like a nice heavy night time smoke as that's usually the main time I get to sit and chill

Rob96commented4 years ago
@FoTwenny, ahh I see, i was worried mine were gonna stretch too far towards the light but luckily they have managed to stop at just the right height, and yes mine have decent buds even quite low down especially for how bushy they are, il keep an eye out for you harvest week on the diary once all finished๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Š
FoTwenny
FoTwennycommented4 years ago
@Rob96, That was on plant. She had a long veg time. I didn't think she would yield much, but she was the stretchiest in the garden and all her buds were nice soft yet dense all the way through the bottom of the plant. That number is just an estimate based on what fit in the jars, but I still need to get in and clean it up. I've been working in trim in my free time for the past couple weeks.
