Welcome to my next indoor grow! My first indoor grow with barneys farm is finished now and the buds are drying and will be cured in the next weeks.
This time I decided to try out the sativa-line from greenhouse seed company; Hawaiian Snow, Francos Lemon Cheese, arjans Ultra Haze #2, as well as the super lemon haze from Linda seeds!
All of them germinated really quickly. Because I want to go travelling in middle of September, they were transplanted directly from eazy Plug into 11 Liter fibre pots from gronest.
They will receive 3 weeks of vegetation and then be sent into flowering! Really excited about the stretching as well as the flowering of those really strong sativas!
This diary will be focused on the arjans Ultra haze #2, also known as mango haze.
Topped her this week and removed two big leaves so the lower branches get more sun! As well the branches got bent down so I can send them in flowering in four days!
Hi! My plants look damaged on the leaves, as well the tips are slightly burned. A few days ago I gave calcium and Epsom salt, I don’t know what’s wrong with them, please help me!
Moreover I recognised yesterday that the light was turned on 24/0 by mistake, I changed that now.
calculate ppms from your labels.. see what you've been giving.. you may find you provided plenty of those things and still show symptoms of deficiencies...
pH, concentration and ratio of the elements provided are all equally important factors. i'd suggest investigating the stuff we control first - pH of what you water, pH of feed, pH of runoff. EC of runoff. calculate PPMs of fertilizer. this will allow you to further deduce what's wrong in addition to a leaf symptom chart.
symptom chart, nute spreadsheet linked in my GD profile comments, check them out. 6.5-6.8 even 7 is okay in soil. 6-7 being widest range you want to work in.. anywhere in that range you'll be able to find a concentration and ratio of nutes that works well.
i can speculate.. but without that info, i could harm your plants with that speculation. my best bet -- trace element issue symptoms, but rarely that.. so, i'd go with pH being out of whack.
This plant remembers me of the Dr. Grinspoon in aspects of flower-developing...
Really slow flowering but extreme growth, I hope she’s going to stop within a week or so, because if not It’s going to be a hard time😅
It is a hard way with this plant. She grows fast and big, I snapped to branches and fixed them to make her grow a bit slower, but she’s a beast‘ flowering starts now with pistils

This week I needed to do some extreme HST to her, because she would’ve grown way beyond my LED😅
Welcome to the sixth week of flowering in my tent!
The Arjan's Ultra Haze #2 is an interesting strain, and i don't mean it negative!😅
It's just that she's already in the sixth week and the flowers are as big as in the first week of flowering for my Franco's Lemon Cheese, funny to see the contrast between these two plants😅
She loves nutrients and takes them like it's nothing. Also she is as big as 2 plants at least, my dad always thinks they're two plants😄
Still not smell or trichomes, quite interested how long she'll take, i bet it'll be around 16 weeks, but then i'll start another small 12/12 grow next to her, because Franco's Lemon Cheese will be harvested way earlier.
Welcome to the seventh week of flowering for my Arjan's Ultra Haze #2!
This week i defoliated soo much, because you could barely see any flowers😅 Now the humidity is also lower and there is just a bit more space in my tent to work and to look.
I can understand why nobody is growing this genetic in this forum, but she's just gorgeous! Such a strong sativa, and i'm sure the buds will explode in the next month(s)😂

Welcome to the eighth week of flowering for my Arjan’s ultra haze #2!
Somehow the branches started to hang pretty low, so I decided to bend them onto a cable hanging down😅 she grows some seriously fat colas! It’s amazing to see those small buds slowly developing!
I gave her a quite different nutrition this week, I left out the Alfa boost all-in-one and instead I took some nirvana from advanced nutrients!

Finally buds are starting to thicken up a little bit, still it's a damn long way to go!
She is really healthy and has a nice colour😍
It’s the tenth week of flowering and my arjans ultra haze starts to show some kinds of damage, i gave her only tap water and I hope she’ll recover fast.
hey there theDoctor, sorry but i have to disagree with everyone here . It's no potassium because K symptoms are splotchy and colorful, that's not what's going on here. Nitrogen issues do not cause leafiness that's light and genetics, nitrogen would be too green leafs or lock outs that would look different. Your problem is root zone related, specifically there was a bit of overwatering that caused the wet dry cycle to not get dry enough which then led to standard water mold issues affecting the root zone. Nothing simpler to fix, just stop overwatering and then fix the roots. The problem roots you can fix by adding a chelation agent for example my favorite : humic acid, you can also add beneficial bacteria but they take longer to work. Anyway, i hope this helps ! 🚀

Now she’s the only plant in my tent, the other ones are ripening outdoors the last days until I find some time to harvest them. They would burn now...
She is doing well I think, she seems to recover from her damage with some fresh new tips and huge buds forming right now!

It’s been in a long time since I updated this diary, I’m sorry for that!
She is doing well, the new tips are healthy and green, just some old damages making her look ill. I think it’ll take at least 3 more weeks until harvest, some trichomes are milky, but many are still clear.
Tips are dark green, so she should be good. It’s not the easiest neither the strain I’ve grown with the most enthusiasm, I hope I’ll be able to harvest her soon, it’s kind of a waste of energy hitting her with 310 W LED-Power, when I could place 4-8 plants in my tent now.
Come on arjan! Please get ready, I have so many new genetics at home I really want to grow now😅
The harvest is going to be a pain in the ass, way more difficult than Grinspoon was!
And she’s definitely using her space😅
I started harvesting her, the buds are super small and the branches are extremely leafy, it’s really exhausting... but I’ll try my best to finish her this week.
Welcome to the harvest report on my Arjan’s Ultra haze #2 (mango haze) by greenhouse seeds!
This grow took me super long, she was flowering about 15 weeks in total...
I harvested her and put the branches in glasses in order to let them ripe even more.
The process of harvest was super exhausting, as the flowers are super fluffy and completely full of leaves.
But in total she yielded an amazing amount of 130 grams in total, which totally satisfied me!
This was the biggest yield I’ve ever reached with one plant.
In the process of curing, she developed a smell literally like dried mango, which i really like.
EFFECT: 8/10
The effect is not strong, nor psychedelic/trippy. But still it’s a nice sativa-high with no body-load, which I really do appreciate. It’s like a Grinspoon without the strong high😅 also its smoke is a bit harsh and tastes a bit like burned leaves, which is definitely something I would rather miss.
I wouldn’t grow this strain again, because the flowers are just too fluffy and they don’t make that up in points of quality. Having a strain flowering that long, I rather prefer the dr. Grinspoon.
