RQS Sweet Zkittlez

ZweetZkittlez Hello everyone! Here we come with another new and beautiful project. Clones of the delicious and incredible Sweet Zkittlez from Royal Queen Seeds. Not only has it been an amazing plant, but it has also allowed me to clone it, and its clones are really strong. These plants, after rooting and being transferred to pots, have been a total of 30 days in Vegetation. They all went through an apical cut, then LST both guided and tied to cover the space in the tent. Currently, they will be under 18 hours of light for a few more days, and then they will switch to flowering 12/12. Throughout the process, I will be using: Delta 9 and Delta 10 from CannaBioGen, Great White Shark Mycorrhizae, Monter Bloom from GROTEK, molasses, and guano 😎

ZweetZkittlez I did the first schwazzing and switched the tent to flower 12/12. The 4 were watered with DELTA 10 from Cannabiogen. I can still take off a few more leaves and clean it up a bit more. On day 20 of flowering, I'll do the second pruning to give it the final push. This "schwazzing" is done to give light to the whole plant, and it's a shock from which they'll recover in the best way with good nutrition. It's a "new" technique I've been trying, and it's giving me good results. The idea behind the technique aims to increase the final weight of our crop. It's perfectly explained in the book Three A Light, and their grows don't lie.

ZweetZkittlez This week we changed the SCROG net for a new one as it stretches. I'm happy with how it turned out. The plants are doing very well in their pre-flower stage; I pruned some leaves that grew very quickly and were blocking a lot of light. The recovery from the first defoliation was incredible; they shot up just like I wanted, and light is penetrating all the leaves. The stem is the size I expected for the first days of flowering... we'll see how everything continues. DAY 12. NO MORE SPACE They're doing really, really well, bigger than the previous grow. I'm happy with the pot change because of the height I gained. They're literally taking over the tent; I’ll have to do something to make the most of these beautiful and delicious ZZ from Royal Queen Seeds 😍 ///// Hi! ZweetZkittlez There was no option but to take the plants out of the indoor setup. The tent height of 1.20 is not enough. The current space is 1.35x1x1.80. Starting from week three of flowering, you'll be able to see the change in space. I had to take out the net; I like to do Scrog... but I had to prioritize the health of the crop. DAY 15: I had to change the environment. I took the 4 plants out of the tent due to space issues. ____NOTE: The roots came out from under the geotextile pots, creating an incredible self-pruning effect. Very happy with these pots, it's my first time trying them.

ZweetZkittlez After taking them out of the tent last week because they wouldn't fit, they are grateful!!! Much more space and this week my new Spider Farmer SF1000 lamp arrived. I'm really happy and hope to notice the difference in this grow 😀 For now, I'm only growing the Sweet Zkittlez from RQS, a seed bank that I really appreciate 😍😎 Day 22: You can start to see the formation and they're starting to "snow" a bit. Day 25: THEY EXPLODED! The difference in these days has been incredible. What do you think? Always open to advice :) Day 27: They reached 103cm from the floor to the tip. One branch was growing strong but was guided and bent a bit to even out the height. NOTE: I can't lower the pH much more. Luckily, the water that comes to the house has no chlorine and goes through a reverse osmosis process which cleans and softens the water, but the pH is still very high so I will need to lower it a bit.

ZweetZkittlez DAY 29: They received a bit of Monster Bloom from GROTEK for the first time :) Let's hope we can see the difference in a few days 😎 DAY 33: Now yes!!! It looks like it snowed the night before ;) The buds are forming and they're already producing resin like crazy :) Day 35: Delta 9. The last Bio-stimulation. Very light and through watering. Then it will go until the end without any more bio-stimulation. I managed to lower the pH for this stage and keep it a bit more controlled. Let's hope they get fed properly. To lower it, I'm using the NAMASTE pH product -

ZweetZkittlez Day 36: They received a bit of bio-stimulation with Delta 9. They keep fattening up and generating resin. A large amount also on the bigger leaves that will be used to make some kief ;) Day 41: I'm surprised by the change they've had these last few days, let's hope they fatten up in the coming days =) Day 42: Flush. We started cleaning the plants, the substrate has too much food. The key days are coming =) 😎 What do you think? Any tips for the final stretch? Hug to everyone! ^ZZ

ZweetZkittlez Since last week, it's been watered only with water, so they can eat all the nutrients they have in the substrate (by the way, they have quite a bit too much). From now until the end, it will be just water (at most a little bit of Great White Shark) and reducing the EC as much as possible to force the plant to consume what's available (All on a diet haha) Day 47: Getting fatter and more resinous every day. Very sticky, and at this point, the smell is quite strong 😁

ZweetZkittlez Last days to clean them as much as possible and finish getting them to bulk up a little more. They came with too much food, and a few days ago we’ve been "kindly asking" them to consume the last food left in the substrate. These days we are only watering with water at a pH of 6.4 and a very low EC. Cheers to everyone!

ZweetZkittlez Last days!!! I would have liked to be able to clean them a bit more regarding the EC of the runoff from the pots when they drain, but I'm very happy with this plant. RQS has never let me down, and the ZZ is no exception. We'll see how they turn out once cut, dried, and cured properly 😎

ZweetZkittlez It has been a good grow overall, but the yield could have been much better in both quantity and final quality (I didn't manage to clean them as well as I would have liked). We'll see how the next batch turns out, going for more =)
