Lazy 'lean into tent' photo. Week one. Not much to look at. She made it out the ground.
Sharing the tent with 3 other plants. Humidity sitting at about 40%. 3c outside but tent temps doing alright.
This is one of Fastbuds newest strains which I've been asked to test. All I know is that it's indica dominant. Not a lot to go on. My tent is short so I hope it doesn't grow too tall. I normally heavily LST all of my plants but I've been experimenting with letting them grow naturally because it let's me do a SOG setup. If it gets too tall I'll supercrop it.
Going pretty slowly this one. She's really tiny for her age but I've not done anything to stunt her. Then when I look at the few diaries I can find on here of this strain, they seem to be pretty similar.
Felt like she was getting a very slight bit of light stress so moved her slightly further away from the light.
It's been a slow one this plant. Possibly could have done with slightly more watering. The pot feels heavy but I changed the mix of the medium slightly and so that could have sent my assessment off when the pot feels heavier than normal.
Still I'd expect to see her take off this week so we'll see what happens.
Got a bit more height this week. Lower leaves showing just a slightly lighter shade of green which cleared up quick with a stronger feed of grow. Could be the space in the tent but I don't think this plant will grow up to be that big. It had a slow start anyway.
Humidity still really low due to the freezing weather outside. Nothing I can do to raise it in my tiny tent as no more space for a humidifier.
Starting to stack up now. Haven't really paid enough attention to her height so not sure if she's still stretching but I'm seeing a very slight yellowing of the lower leaves and the faint sign of some banding between the veins so I haven't switched fully to bloom nutes yet but probably will next feed, and will also give a dose of epsom salt next feed.
I've just done a little bit of bowl training, pulling a few branches down and using a bit of supercropping on some.
All I know of the strain is that it's indica dominant so this could be as big as she gets in 7l of soil.
Plant is flowering nicely despite having a slow start and never growing too tall. Tons of white pistils and the cola keeps getting bigger before it even starts swelling. Like the other plants have just introduced Green Planet Massive as a flowering stimulant and will be interested to see if I notice a difference. Sounds like a good product.
Fed with a bit of epsom salt to hold off a slight Mg deficiency but plant seems to be happy with leaves praying to the light.
Still don't know anything about this strain beyond being an indica.
This plant is filling out nicely now. A few orange hairs starting to appear. Nice indica dominant means short stature with quite solid buds.
Starting to see a natural fade on the bottom leaves. The top is filling out a lot better than the lower portion as there's not much side light and I'm having to rotate the plant each day just to ensure the side branches are getting light.
Not had any issues growing it and the plant seems to be happy. Still a few more weeks to go.
Doing well this plant. One massive cola. Not the smelliest plant but got some nice colour in the buds and still putting on the weight.
Have introduced Massive by Green Planet Nutrients which is full of hormones and stimulants. Plant is putting out a lot of new pistils so that could be helping.
It's not really given me many problems throughout. Taken feeds well and seems like quite a resilient strain.
Not much more to say. Just still watching the swell.
Wow, week 9 and still going strong. This plant doesn't look like it's ready to stop flowering. That main cola is beefy. Not able to get my fingers round it. I'll need to run the Massive on a few more runs before I can say it's down to that but hey that's what I bought the stuff for so seems to be doing the job.
Still not a massive smell from this plant but up close it smells tropical with hints of pineapple.
Considering she got off to a slightly slower start and never grew too tall, I'm happy with how she's turned out. Should be some flavourful smoke.
This strain grew really easily without much effort and seriously bulked up towards the end. Late bloom booster kept it putting out white hairs until the end when it's leaves yellowed rapidly and she was done.
Has a kind of tropical smell to it in the jar but nothing overpowering. Quite an indica heavy smoke so best for the evening.
I was given this strain as a tester - still waiting for final name and deets. It had a nice structure to it and grew without too much trouble at all. Seeing it pack on weight at the end made me think it would yield more than it ended up but still happy. Quite a fruity smoke, but heavy indica so not one I will personally run next.
@beadyeyes, Thanks. I haven't tended to risk topping or fimming autos. I know it can be done but I only tried once and it stunted so just leave them to do their thing. Normally heavy LST but I tried this for a change.
