Week 1 of Veg
- Planted clones in 3gal/5gal fabric pots in coco/perlite.
- Feeding 100ppm calmag and 450ppm megacrop, using water from dehumidifer which reads below 50ppm on my bluelab pen.
- Sitting under a 400W MH 7100K bulb
Week 2 Veg
- Tons of growth in the past week
- I did some LST and topped the current plants to slow growth down a little to allow for the newer clones to catch up in height for a more even canopy
- They were all topped at the 5th node
Week 3 Veg
- Good growth so far, lowered the light to 20” and upped the feeding a little.
- Had problems with aphids last week, I have been using soap and water to spray the plants every few days. Each day there was less and less and can no longer find any but am still spraying to be cautious.
- Planning to lst sometime this week
Week 3 Flower
- Things are looking good and healthy, pistils are showing on all branches.
- Did a heavy defol last week but man did these other leaves grow fast!
- Switched things around a little, put my vegging plants in the 4x4 since these all fit in my 3x3. My coverage is better in the 3x3 with my lights and can veg the other plants in 4x4 until it is full.
Week 4 Flower
- Retied some branches down to the pot
- Checked run off ppm last water and was high, I performed a flush and will continue to feed the same with more run off each watering to avoid salt build up.
- Ran out of nutrients and picked up some Advanced Nutrients, Micro-Grow-Bloom !

Week 5 Flower
- Switched nute lines so feeding 850ppm right now to take it easy. Feeding pH Perfect M-G-B, 1:2:2
- Leaves and buds are starting to get frosty, although not nearly as big I would’ve hoped by now.

Idk if this will help but you can check out budgetgrowlights.com. If you want some reviews before buying you can probably find some on 420magazine.com, not the easiest site to search but there is good info on it. I ended up with a 250 full spec series 3+ from them but I don't have a tent yet. I also bought it before I found any reviews figuring I would chance it. It lit up my living room like the sun was in it during the day and I have south facing windows in that room.
