Hi guys, thank you for support :) Had part of my lights dead after reassembling, and i made new grow box for comfortable use of coco, so all that took some time. But now i'm back on track and now i have a bit better box. Day imitation i mean to repeat sunsets by switching on separate 30W chip of 730nm, now it is on for 2 last hours of day and 30 minutes after lights off. This way i should do 14-15h long days for photoperiod, I also thought to have 10% of UVB added, but decided to leave that for next time, i will test adding just IR and test Emerson laws by myself for now. Genetics of this plant is really interesting, i myself am more fan of sativas, but i really want to see what superindica looks like, and they says that it is superindica :D

@Nutria, for the beginning, i'd recomend to put 730nm on separate timer, watch how your plant will behave because far - red at day together with main lights makes plant to feel like it is in shadow and to stretch very strongly. I'd recommend to start from 2 hours per day + 15-30 minutes as a sunset after night starts. Whole day under IR you will get insane stretch, which also is not good. For UV-B (it is only you may want to use) you could buy 365nm chip and use it, at max 10% of total lights. This is like in mountains, so you may want to try some mountain strain also to see how that works. But first i'd recommend to try something one, not all at once, otherwise you may not get good result and will still not understand why. So i'd recommend try to use IR, and then upgrade to UV also.

@HolyTHC, I will add a 30/50w "full spectrum" cob (380-840nm) and a 10w 730nm cob to test the emerson law. I would try to add UVA and UVB but I dont have the space for a T5

@Nutria, i did found nice COBs on aliexpress with exactly 365nm, may try to use them some day. This grow and i think next couple of grows will be dedicated to IR, just want to develop technique of using IR as a tool for regulating intgernode lenght when forming bush in early flower.

@Tenacious_Trichomes, she is already beast, will train her again tomorrow, she is barely fitting in my box already and there are 2 weeks of stretching ahead. Did not see that coming, but always it is easier to cut / train, than get good result from gnome plant. Will update when done!

deletedcommented8 years ago

What's blumat bro?

deletedcommented8 years ago
@Tenacious_Trichomes, im using 10l tank, just hanged it above plant. You could use any tank you need, just calculate everything well and there is only one rule for this - you must drip only weaker tea, not normal as usual to avoid over accumulation of salts in substrate.
Tenacious_Trichomes
Tenacious_Trichomescommented8 years ago
@HolyTHC, how big is the reservoir on that? I'm headed away on a trip in a couple months. This might be why I need to keep my moms alive...
deleted
deletedcommented8 years ago
@Tenacious_Trichomes, that's drip valve controlled by ceramic carrot - when substrate dries out, it opens and tea starts to drip. Keeps needed moisture.

How long do you think she will take ?

deletedcommented8 years ago
@BigDaddyK, that's 75W GN HS1's plain LED matrix + DIY 50W of similar spectrum DIY, total combined real 125W Setup has white LED section of 60W also but for maintenance only (switches instead grow lights when doors are opened) and 30W of 730nm, which was used earlier for flowering manipulations About spectrums - main setup contains 660nm, 450nm, 730nm 5600K, 5000K and 2700K leds

@HolyTHC,it seems that you have really good canopy penetration- is that the colour or the power ?
deleted
deletedcommented8 years ago
@BigDaddyK, oh no, for all photos you could switch back to 18/6 ant they will surely go reveg just in few days. Risk is if that's unstable genetics - she could go hermie. But i did noticed this early and let's hope that this will go well and without problems. Anyway, she drinks approx 2l of tea per day and seems to be swelling fast, so no reason to panic for now :)

ShaanKaya
ShaanKayacommented8 years ago
deleted
deletedcommented8 years ago
ShaanKaya
ShaanKayacommented8 years ago
@HolyTHC, Чудесно, т.е.
