Here’s goes nothing. First Grow....extra closet turned into grown room. Using Fox Farms Happy Frog at the moment while she’s a seedling. Will move to a 50/50 mix of that with Ocean Forest and additional perlite upon transplant to 5gal fabric pots. Light watering from spray bottle this week. No nutes. One light and one fan.

Priority so far has been to not overwater and make sure she’s still getting plenty of fresh air. Water bottle to mist and give a few sips when dry. Not PHing water just yet, from the tap at the moment.

Staying the course so far. Not trying to do much. Keeping an eye on temps and checking soil for moisture. No nutes. PH meter came, so began using that to PH the water. Growth seems to be coming along nicely. She got a slight curve in the stem, not quite sure how that happened. Directly centered under light and no signs of stretching. May make LST easier?!? Transplant soon.

Started the week with a transplant to a (final?) 5gal fabric pot (vivosun). Upon inspection during transplant, root ball looked healthy and white. Not too overgrown but definitely ready for its next home. Color seems to look good and new nodes. Still no nutes and probably won’t for a little bit. As mentioned in the first week I made of mix of Fox Farms Ocean Forest and Happy Frog as well about 30% perlite. Got this recipe from growweedeasy.com. Waited a few days to see if any stress from transplant. Slight discoloration on one fan leaf, but seems to be diminishing. After not showing much if any signs of stress, decide to top as well after a few days. Soil still somewhat moist after a few days. Added a riser underneath the pot to allow for air flow under as it was still a little wet. After adding this it seems to be helping.

LST this week, isn’t the prettiest job but seems too be getting the job done. A few burnt edges and some rust/discoloration on a few leaves. Also got munched on a little by some unknown pests. I took her outside for an hour or so to water and LST and it was very hot 90F+. Thought maybe it was heat stress but after some thought and reading up on it, I think it might be time for some cal/mag. Growing in a closet as well so keeping temps under control in there is a concern too.

A few leaves have some problem spots popping up here in week 6 (see pics). No nutes, PH’d water. FFOF/HF/Perlite mix for medium under 20 hours of light. I’m guessing either got too hot from being in 90F heat for an hour or needs cal/mag? Any advice from any veterans out there?

Responding well to nutes and happy so far with the LST..plant already kinda had a lean to it, so I just went with it...overhangs the pot a bit. Hope that doesn’t become an issue later on. Accidentally broke a branch while adjusting LST, taped her up and hoping of the best.

Flipped to flower mid week (day 60) and switched nutes over to Tiger bloom. Pre flower defoliation. Damage to broken stem seems to be healing nicely and have taken off the tape. Bounces back nicely after defoliating, very bushy plant over all.

First pistils appeared this week so stoked on that. Watering is becoming more frequent and feeding every water, seems to be handling it just fine, still going at half strength for the nutes.

Additional LST this week, allowed me to lower the lights a bit. Plant seems to be loving it so far. LED doesn’t get too hot so that helps too, as well as the two fans to keep her cool and breezy. Continued defoliation and which is turning into a semi lollipop situation.

She’s humming along nicely at this point, pruning is happening on about a weekly basis to keep bud sites with some nice rays.
