soaked seeds overnight then sew into Fox Farms Ocean Forest. By the next day 2 of 2 have sprouted! No nutrients yet, just 18 hours of light and ph'd water. Using my Quantum Board QB304 for veg then flower with COBs.

Wasn't able to transfer to bigger pots until this week. Finally dried all buds from previous harvest of Durban Poison. The girls are now in their final 3 gallon fabric pots. Nutrients introduced and are now under the COBs @ 150W. Hopefully they respond well with the transfer and nutrients. Last run I had 3 plants in 3 gallon pots under the COBs. We'll see if I can get the same yield with 2 plants 😀 Added photo - day after transfer, bounced back. 💪

The girls are a little behind on growth since I didn't get to transfer them in a bigger pot sooner. They are now showing good signs of growth and enjoying the nutes/microbes. Looks like they'll be topped this coming week. If I can successfully root the tops, I will do another cross since I have a couple Purple Erkle's growing. Subjects will be all female and will try my luck reversing via Colloidal Silver. I am estimating another 3 weeks before the flip to 12/12. I'll be lacing up my SCROG screen soon.

Gradually increased light to 100%. The girls got topped this week and removed most of the fan leaves. Might go another couple weeks in veg depending on how they respond to the topping and defoliation. Screen will be laced ups and scrog training will begin.

Laced up the screen for the scrog and topped the girls last week. They are barely touching the screen so I think one more week before the swich to 12’s. The flowering stretch should fill up the screen and have anice canopy.

Change of plans... no more scrog this time. Sticking to the good ol' LST/HST training to maintain a level canopy. The original plan was to have 2 GSC fill up the screen but I decided to throw in a Purple Urkle along with them. Due to the difference in size and probably flowering time, I opted to not use the screen. Performed some defoliation and cleaned up the lower growth that wouldn't really amount to anything. Got carried away with the training and ruffed the girls up a bit and split their top 😬. They'll be fine and should be ready for 12/12

Made the switch to bloom this week. Kinda took longer in veg than I anticipated. Added the Purple Urkle in this tent so gave her a little bit of time to grow. Fox Farms trio has been catered to bloom and added Mammoth P. Defoliation throughout the first couple weeks along with LST to maintain that level canopy. 👍

It's has been another great week for these Girl Scout Cookies. The transition to flower has shown great growth and flower formation. Pistils are shooting out everywhere and some fan leaves are starting to shimmer. Some defoliation throughout next week to make sure we are getting good light penetration to the lower bud sites. I'm satisfied with the LST, no more training. Looks like they're finished stretching since the last time I adjusted light was early this week.

4/20 update! might as well do an update before I get busy this weekend. Light distance had to be adjusted once more due to the flowering stretch. They should be done stretching and start stacking up those pretty buds. No change in nutrients since last week. Minor defoliation this week and done with training. They are starting to smell 😀 4/23 Mid week update! Last two pics 😉 Found Polyploid mutation on one of the colas. Has any of you encountered this before? Seems to be pretty rare!

I’m not sure it’s a poly as it is only doing that to one flower. I had one do this when I accidentally bent a branch while scrogging a plantthe flower for me is pretty leafy but is slowly straight if out

Girl Scout Cookies are doing great! Buds are starting to stack up trichome development is on point. Found a little weirdo bud on the lower branch. Looks like we got a polyploid mutation, very excited to see how this one turns out. More defoliation this past week since they were getting too bushy. Moving forward, slight adjustment on nutrients and letting her do her thing.

Nutrients for this week has slightly changed, Recharge and Grow Big has been reduced and will be stopped by next week. Everything is looking great! Buds are stacking, trichomes are glistening, and scent is getting stronger. Should be half way through flowering. Harvest in early June 😉

Same plants different week. Nothing changed from last week as far as nutrients go. Trichomes and pistils continue to develop. Flush might start next week depending on trichomes. I usually start flushing when most trichomes are cloudy. Stay tuned for the next update 👍

Another week with great progress. Trichomes are shimmering! most are milky with very little amber. Flushing the girls with some Mammoth P and Molasses. Smell has been getting stronger which has a nice sweetness to it. Should chop her down within the next couple of weeks.

Just flushing out the girls this week with some ph'd water with mammoth p and molasses. No signs of amber trichomes but fan leaves are fading to a nice dark purple hue. Harvest will be within the next couple of weeks. Just in time for a June harvest - diary of the month contender 😏

1 of 2 Girl Scout Cookie plants has been chopped down for drying. She was showing amber trichomes throughout the plant and purple hues on fan leaves. The other had milky trichome with little amber. I'll give the last one another week before chopping her down. I'll close this diary out next week when the last one is hanging up to dry. Then I'll update with final numbers and pictures of cured buds 👍

Easy to grow and didn't run into any diseases. I could definitely see the resemblance from the Durban Poison. I don't have final numbers yet but yield looks very good.

Another fun grow! No trouble but had my first encounter with a mutant bud. Very cool to see and this one had a good yield. Final number will be posted after they're all dried up and curing as well as a proper photoshoot. Been super busy with everything else in like and haven't had time to take out the camera gear and provide the community with awesome pics. 6/15 New pictures uploaded! Aroma of the buds came back after curing in a jar for a week. Candy sweet with a slight citrus scent. Nice uplifting high 👌00

Girl Scout Cookies are a cross between Durban Poison and OG Kush. It's very interesting to compare our baby leaves here, mine being 100% Durban Poison genes. Yours already show broader, indica like leaves while mine are skinny and going to be lanky sativa leaves. I didn't know GSC was a cross of my babies that is so cool! =)

I just now found your diary, and I’m afraid your doctor is too late Lol I know you can’t wait to taste your harvest, but wow is she screaming out to be pollinated! You could create a mammoth new strain with her plus a big boy’s man dust - Weirdo Best wishes. Enjoy the result! I have successfully and selectively pollinated only one branch on a plant using a q tip with the fans off to gently dust pistils. Then a fine mesh fabric wrap goes over that bud. I harvest mostly seedless bud AND get a couple of hundred seeds. When you see a beast, breed ‘er!

Short_N_stockYcommented7 years ago
@growdoctordc,Great minds think alike 😉 I got cuts from this grow that are flowering now and will be pollinated with the pollen that I have stashed in the freezer from a Power Plant 👍

@Short_N_stockY, just lift the pot just right after watering and keep in mind the weight, when it starts to get lighter it means it needs water again.

@JUNGLE_B4RNS, You’re right. I just watered them the day before transfer and had to water again after. Hopefully it’s not too bad that they turn yellow.

Wooowee that plants looking incredible! The mutant doesn't look as mature, more white pistils than the others, is it just me or is that so? Do you think you'll have to harvest the plant in 2 phases, so that one could fully mature?
Short_N_stockY
Short_N_stockYcommented7 years ago
@Experimentgreen, great progress over the past week. I usually harvest 1 plant at a time but it wouldn’t be a bad idea to do a single plant in phases. We’ll just have to wait and see, some trichomes are starting to get cloudy/milky.
