Started 2 beans 1 popped is sprouting and building her triset of leaves. Dried out yesterday but think caught it before caused any problems. Will probably transplant her this week into a big pot with the bio feeding.
Pressed for time I rookied out and broke the tap transplanting. Or just cooked the shit out of her with heat wave been having. Hoped would recover but just got worse as days went on.
Germinated 2 more beans and popped in soil yesterday. Hopefully will pop up today 🙏 or tomorrow.
Think going to run the veg in hydro give them best chance once they pop up. Cheers 🍺.
Back to where I was... Let's hope the girl takes this time.
Again only had one bean pop out of two. Not sure if container needs sterilized or why won't pop in that pictular pod. Or if just getting 50% germ.
Started the girl in a plastic starter pod with top soil. Popped up after a day. Let her start her first set of leaves and transplanted into a mix of top soil, perlite, gravel and coco. Mixed the grow nuits into the soil weighed out at recommend dose.
Well, lost a plant in the room from major leaf damage to find out got an investation of fungus gnats and spider mites. Fun isn't it. Should have added Damascus earth to the top of the pots.
Did some research and some suggestions are neem seed oil but I went with nematodes as will work for a year and thinking be better with the soil am using/reusing against pests in future. Waiting on Amazon now.
If they don't work will go with a pesticide as don't have time to screw around.
Trying to keep the top of the pots dry so she really hasn't grown alot and imagine the pest are reaking havoc on the roots.
Trying to keep her alive long enough to get the todes working. Positive note: true leafs are starting.
Growing well, keep having to remind myself that she's not 6 weeks old but 3.
Going to top or fim her this week. Nematodes seem to be working well.
Not 100% sure what method going to use to grow this girl but going to run her for 8 weeks veg.
Have an ameno acid /carb shake being made. Will give her a dose of that next feeding.
Topped and defolated her. Trying to get the sides to grow out.
Having a heatwave and even with the A/C going room temperature is getting as high as 35. Thinking she's a bit stressed right now but has to deal with it until temps cool down. Nights haven't been as hot and able to drop the room temperature.
Should start seeing some growth coming weeks as long as stays with in temp ranges.
Pulled out the perlite on top and mixed in more top soil.
Week #4. Started to branch out and pinned her down for LST.
Bushing out nicely. Dropped the light a bit to focus more light on the babies.
Nothing to complain about starting to take off.
Week #5. Doing great now that the heatwave is over and temps are back to normal.
Topped her at 3 nodes on each branch. 3x6 branches if everything goes well. Gotta tie her down in soon as she's popping up all the U- spikes.
Gave her another 9 grams /spoonful of bio grow. It's good stuff 👌.
Added last scoop around 9g to the pot of bio grow. Will swap over to bloom next feeding.
She's doing absolutely amazing. Can't complain about anything. Raised up the light a bit. One more week and flipping over to flower.
Real Time - Week 8
This girl is amazing for week 8. Not one complaint about her. Gens are really strong in this one.
Branches are thickening up to support the flowers. Leaves are massive sucking up the light. Defolated some lower shades other day and can barely even tell.
Expecting colas on her are going to be massive. Due to Gas Mask getting messed up this week going to give her another week or so to veg. Only make the yeild all that much better.
Giving her 1 scoop of bloom (9g) on top of the soil every week.
Want to start adding advanced nuits terps enhancers if allowed. Nirvana, Bud Candy, Rezin, and overdrive.
Starting to see the pre-flower structure and so excited think might have peed a little. Lol
Having some yellowing near bottom but think just from the over spray of soap and light. Not worried about it.
Have male gorilla glue #5 might do some spot breeding with her.
Been giving her roughly 9g every week of the bloom powder. Really like these nuits for a set and forget system.
May have cheated but contest is over anyways and want to create best buds possible.
Gave her:
4ml - Nirvana
2ml - Pro Cal
4ml - Bud Candy
4ml - Rezin
Gave her 9g of more bio bloom and followed with a good watering. Gave her a feeding of flavor enhancers mid week.
Looking good developing nicely. Hopefully the Cola's will fill out still has few weeks to go.
Roughly 20 days left. Time for the real work. Started her on overdrive regiment.
On Wednesday trimmed and lollypoped all the lower fluff.
Thursday gave her tripple dose of bio bloom.( 27 grams).
Friday back-budded the large tops. Last measurement colas were averaging 12 inches with 16 on main. Topped off pot with new soil.
Saturday I gave her tripple dose of flavor enhancers.
After the all the nuits she's shows little sign of over dose, could probably have increased by 4. She's going to give a good yeild, should start to thicken up next week or so.
She's almost done now. Buds are starting to fall over. Gave her dose of water. Leaves are starting to yellow good sign she's fighting for nitrogen. Should be harvesting in the next week or so.
Don't want to break any branches moving her sorry for the exposure.
Well today's the day been waiting for.. harvest week.
Friday morning put her in the dark. Has been in dark for around 44 hrs.
Can really smell the tropics in her. Smells of riping fruits. Transporting to the dark closet made whole house smell. Only going to get more potent as time goes on.
This will be a huge yeild compaired to the SoG harvested. Wondering if she's going to take the champion belt for grows in that room.
I'm really happy with the bio nuits, was a set and forget system other than add a scoop every wk which makes life easy. Would consider the nuits for any soil grow in the future.
After quick trim and stem weight I got:

Have to give massive thanks to Green House for the opportunity to work with their products. This was a prize in itself.
Banana 🍌 krumble turned out amazing and the nuits are bang on for what expect from bio soil nuits. Definitely will use more of it in the future. Wear my T-Shirt proud.
As for the buds nice, fluffy , potent and beautiful aromas.. thanks again..
Harvest last week and wet with stem weight was 306, worked out to 90 dry. Smells tropical but banana didn't really come out, more krumble. See how is after the cure is complete.
@Mrs_Larimar, I believe nothing wrong with making mistakes as long as you don't repeat them and learn from it. How one gets better. No one's perfect and if claim to be ; probably make alot more mistakes than the open one's.

Assumed Banana would be closer to a lemon look, light greens/yellow.
I got really dark leafs on her so might come out with a purple.
Gnats are a pain in tne ass. i fight them very hard in every stage of life. Nematodes for eggs and larvaes, and yellowstickers and neemoil for the adults.

But one positive aspect,,, you got a good soil^^... only in a living soil you got gnats
@Fusion, yellowstickers and nematodes are a big key to solve that problem. ( i let the stickers lay down at the layer.. and spraying the layer with neempilsolution helps too. Some grower look for neemseeds and crush them and put them into the soil. But i have no experience in doing this
@Mrs_Larimar, think your right with the thripes. Can add all 3 to my pest problems. Not used to pests as always done hydroponics in the past. First year doing live soil. Hopefully these nematodes do some damage to them heard they are amazing for pest control but never used them.
@Mrs_Larimar, have you used the enhancer yet? Says drop to pH 5.0 but how's it effectively staying in range as nuits get used up or evaporation. Can see it causing fluxes.
@Mrs_Larimar, yeah she's pretty much done last of the whites are curling up and turning color. Tomorrow will throw in dark for couple days.

Crossing fingers for the lil one... and germinating is a Part of grow that needs lot of Attention. My feeling is, that the Seeds get more tricky.
I started in just putting them into the ground and done ( years ago).... Today iam doing a germinating Routine that has many steps......
First i put them into a little box and shake the seeds ( microcracks)
Then i let them soak
then i place them under wet Kitchensponge ( keeps humidity veery long)
then i plant them and give them a " Open dome"
And i spray the seedlings daily--------someday multiple
and if they still " runting" i givwe them aloe water
That the way i keep my germinating rate high
@Mrs_Larimar, tell me about it.. used to just throw a bunch of seeds in area of the bush and end of summer would have a bunch of plants that need harvested.. now unless soaking them they don't pop. Think might be pollution and the global warming , heating up faster this not giving the seeds the rainy spring.
I just soak mine untill they crack and then put in my medium.. if can't pop from that probably not a strong strain.
