Grow #3 Northern Lights XXL Auto

Pot is actually not filled to the top. So the mediums is less than a gallon, I am afraid of the vertical space I have is too small for a full 1 gallon of medium. This grow will help me out a lot for the next one if I should use 2 plants or stick with one with more or less medium. Also soil is currently at lower than optimal ph I will water with a higher ph for a while to see if it normalizes.

Growing week 2 has been eventful. Really seeing some explosive growth in just a few days. Plant is going into full on veg now. I will be LSTing, trying down, a lot of branches because I have a very limited vertical space. Got the pH raised up in the soil a little bit since last week gotta water with a high pH for a while to stabilize the soil pH. Can't wait for that flowering period!

This has been a really exciting week with a lot of explosive growth. Ran into some deficiencies that I believe was magnesium. I fed this baby some cal-mag and the deficiencies stopped and the plant kept on growing. Got the soil pH to a good 6.0 as well very happy about that. Week 4 should show signs of early flower coming on and in anticipation of that I bought the 2 part Sensei Bloom.

Week 4 was chill. A lot of growth and more LST. Doing this update late thooo I been busy lol. New issues began to rise up at the end of this week and it's been hard to deal with them up to the present.

This week was the first transition into flower. Pistol started to pop and lots of hairs growing on the tops. Problems with the plant in this stage thooo necrosis happening in the center of some leaves. I believe this was due to some bad additives I was using. I flushed the medium and then gave it some more Advanced Nutes. This seemed to help thooo got a lot of yellowing at the bottom now. Also didn't get a picture for day 7 of this week got a little unmotivated with the issues popping up but I'm still confident on finishing this grow 😊

Week 7 is the first official week of flower and it's also the end of it's streching period. Plant was really short and squat at the end of veg and it has grown so much in height in just 1 week. I also raised up the light to it's max height and increased wattage to 125w from the previous 100w. This next week should see some more bud development!

Late update again. Week was good though. Was hoping this plant would not get so tall since I only have 3 feet here but growth looked good. Some hick ups in the week after this one however.

So big mistake this week! Got some new organic nutrients from HG Bokashi. I tried it out on my girl here but she was already really flushed out. So lesson of this grow don't switch from chemical to organic this late in the cycle. Plant is too used to big juicy chemical nutes. The lack of them brought the yellowing really close to the top in the present day. I am hoping that I still get some bugs at the end thoo will go full organic in my next grow that I am starting already!

This week has seen growth happening with buds begging to swell. Today buds are forming their first trichomes as the buds keep thickening up. This plant has become a heavy heavy feeder, running though 1000ppm every watering! Just got a new PK booster as well from Fox Farms, their Beastie Blooms. It's a heavy PK boost so I used a little and hope to see buds continue to form.

Week 10 has gone by ok plant is still growing really loves the new bloom booster stuff, get a little thicker every time I add very little to the water supply. New improvement for the set up are in on week 11. Plant is now a little further away from the light. Tops seem to like that they were looking under developed when plant was really close to the light. Also about to add my new new grow. It's in the same tent and they are some nice seedlings already.

Harvest was ok I let the buds dry out too much but I stopped caring about this grow really I was just trying to get something remotely smokable.
