Quite an explosion of growth in the last 10 days, taking shape nicely. I chose to diary this plant as it is the best of 5 in the tent. The stems are thickening really nicely. As of today (day29) 29cm tall and nearly an inch in the last 24 hours. Very exciting plant it’s going to be a beast.....

Not the best plant in the tent anymore. Next door stole the show as soon as I introduced the mars hydro lamps. The first 2 weeks or so they were under a 300w vipaspectra. Still looking very good it’s filling out very nicely. Branches look very strong and main stem is quite chunky. All plants in the tent now have white hairs so I’m expecting big changes in the next week or 2. Had problems with some of my plants (front 3 in big pic) as I have 3 in coco and didn’t know about the calcium. It’s fixing itself nicely now though with the cal mag. This is my first grow btw I’m not ignorant to my plants needs. Going well..... 5 weeks old today.

Had to get rid of one because of major humidity problems as high as 90%. So now 4 plants, 2 amnesia and 2 chocolate cream. All have now turned to flower, the 2 stem pics are off the choc cream. They make the amnesia look small now and are flourishing in coco compared to the amnesia in soil, bit of a ball ache watering coco daily though. Defoliated also to help with humidity and it really helped and let more light through and caused a growth burst. Expecting to be blazing chocolate cream for a while after the recent events. Still got fluctuating rh but it’s more under control and don’t seem to bother things anyway.

All nicely into flower now. My chocolate cream is near hitting the roof at 37 inches. It’s only meant to go to 30 inches. I had my 2 300w vipaspectra lights come available so I added them to this tent so now I have 2 viper 300w and 2 mars hydro 600ts for the rest of flower. Plenty of power and basically a light each with some overlap so all good. Had major humidity problems and thank you to the grower who suggested negative pressure it’s worked a treat, I am no longer worried about mold. My amnesia are now petite compared to the choc cream but are also very sturdy beings so I’m optimistic about those. One has definitely stopped stretching I’m just praying the freak of nature choc cream beast stops soon I have had to bend the main stem quite a bit into an s shape but all the others just caught up. I have about 10 main colas all about 8-10inches away from the mars hydro depending on which way I spin it. All in all though a very happy grower.😎

More defoliation this week as I had a rise in humidity all of a sudden after fixing it. Done some comparisons from my pics and can see some considerable swelling on the colas on all plants. One of the amnesia is slightly behind and only just forming its bud shapes. The choc cream are starting to get sticky to touch and the support leaves are starting to sparkle. The stretch has ended now thankfully I have had to angle one of my lights as a last ditch attempt to not get LED burn. I have noticed slight heat stress today but it has been a really hot day around 30c outside so I’m not too bothered about that it will not be like that often. Got some little white tiny crawlies in the medium of all pots. I read that if you put a slice of potatoe on the top of the medium they eat that instead of the roots so I tried it and it seems to be working. When I lift the potatoe up you can see all of them squirm to get away. I did flush a lot of them out today with a heavy watering. They can only of been around a few days cz I would of 100% noticed them if they were around sooner. There’s no stunting anyway and I’m happy to feed them spuds as long as they leave my fruits alone. I am going to find a good bug killer for them, I just needed a quick fix and it’s done exactly that. Another good week to report anyway. 😎😎😎

I fell behind so had to skip a week the plants are 71 days old today. Going really well I have done some comparison pics with around a weeks difference and you can see they are getting more bulky. I feel sorry for my 2 amnesia plants as they are now neglected, I just can’t get in to work on them without causing damage so I decided to leave them be and grow natural. They did have LST done but I could do with spreading the branches and giving them a haircut. I’m really excited to see what this harvest will bring, I think my light situation is pretty good and iv seen a good increase in growth since adding the 2 vipaspectra 300w to the tent. I can get them as close as 5/6cm to the tops without any signs of stress. The mars hydro cannot go so close as they do not have built in fans. It’s also exciting to see what light does the best... they all got 1 of each brand of similar power. Anyway, counting down the days to harvest like a child waiting for Xmas 😇😎😍

Been a turbulent week to say the least... my amnesia plants in soil are sick to the point of no return.. not really fattening up one is much worse then the other. The worst one I’m keeping for extractions and the .2nd one I’m going to see how it is come harvest before deciding wether to smoke or extract. Never growing soil agsin... coco 100% of the time now. My 2 choc cream are in coco(I got a bag of coco free with my tent purchase not enough to cover all my pots though)The shorter of the 2 choc creams has been infected with mould, I am gutted about that. I was determined not to lose the whole plant so I cut away the bad bits (2branches) and I cut away loads more leaf and smaller buds to create a decent air space through the middle. I harvested the top buds of this plant today (about 1/3)and found 2 small buds with mould so got rid of that and the rest weighed 104g wet so about 20-25g dry I’m going for. The rest of it is getting another week while keeping a close eye on it for mould. It should yield around 2oz. My bigger choc has gone from strength to strength, the buds are getting fatter and I can see the branches weighing down abit more each day under their own weight.. I moved one of the lights off the worst plant and put it over the biggest choc cream to intensify the last 2 weeks of that plant which it has left.. its got 2 mars hydro 600ts pointing at its lovely colas now. This plant is going to be the bench mark for the next autos I do. It’s going to yield a nice amount.. I am praying it won’t catch any mould it’s been resistant to everything so far.. all plants are on flush apart from the big one.. it’s in coco so is getting a weeks flush and the soil is getting 2 weeks.. I will report on how it smokes when the first buds have dried. I think it will be nice to smoke 😎 P.S. the mars hydro 600ts are performing far better then the vipaspectra 300w... similar priced LED’s, similar power draw.
