Hey bro! 👋 Your girl is having trouble absorbing nutrients from the soil, all because of overwatering! Your pot is 8.5 L, the maximum watering volume for your pot is 850ml. There's a rule for adult watering - 10% of the pot volume. Water the plant as needed, as soon as the top 2-3 centimeters of soil dries out. And considering the recommendation to water the plant daily, you need to reduce the watering volume until the surface of the soil starts to dry out within a day! 👌😇👍 Good luck, bro!

After 24 hours from a 1.5 litre watering the medium feels very dry and pot is light. Is this still looking over watered or could it possibly be under watered ? Been advised to only give 850 ml in this 8.5 litre pot but I’m thinking could it be soil too compact or something?

Bro, you're right to water with 850 ml! If the soil dries out quickly in less than 10 hours, then you should water twice with 850 ml! First time at the beginning of the light cycle, second time in the middle of the light cycle! 👆 ✋😇👍 Good luck, buddy!

Hi guys, looking for advice on how much bio bizz bloom and how much biobizz grow I should be using, I’m in week 3 of flowering. Currently Using 1.5 ml per litre of grow and 4ml of bloom Per litre. Is this about right? Thanks in advanced.

Bro, better do less! 0.7ml/l grow 2.1ml/l bloom In a week you'll do 0.2 ml/l grow 4 ml/l bloom Good luck, bro!

Reduced watering to 850 ml and seems to want this every 24- 36 hours. Plant seems to have perked up however still have yellow leaves / brown spots. I’m feeding 0.5 ml calmag per litre , should I continue this? Should I be worried about the state of the plant.

Dude, those spots that appeared before your corrections aren't going anywhere, don't expect the plant to "cover up" your mistakes like magic. You need to keep an eye on the new growth, on the leaves that are growing now - they will tell you if everything is okay! If the new leaves are normal, then there are no problems! Don't touch the old leaves, the plant pulls the necessary elements from them for flowering and directs them to its flowers! You have to be patient and give your plant time to recover from stress, carefully monitor the runoff and pH, the temperature in the tent, and the humidity! 👌 Good luck, buddy! ✊😇

Hey, buddy! 👋 You have crazy nutrient overdoses in week 3! It's an overdose across the board! You need a flush technique! Lower the ppm in the soil to the initial level it had when you started growing! 👆 Your soil is too salty with nutrients! First, there was an overdose of nitrogen, then calcium and phosphorus. When you already had a phosphorus deficiency, you decided not to lower Gro but to give it even more! Both Gro and Bloom, so it would lose consciousness from such joy! It got offended, you need a flush and information about your ppm! The acidity is fine, but there's a problem with the nutrient balance in the soil and the plant!!! You need to remove the excess nitrogen, phosphorus, and calcium from the soil! You need to stop using calcium if you're using the Gro additive! It already has calcium in it!!! If you're growing with osmosis water, you might need 0.25ml/l - cal/mag. If it's tap water or hard water, then don't add cal/mag at all! Lower Gro to 0.3 ml/l Lower Bloom to 0.9ml/l!!! Good luck, bro! ✊😇

Purple leaves can be from led lighting, I'm more concerned you have some lockout going on. That and dry areas in your root system cuz your fabric planters get hard to get water through the root system when you see water pouring out the sides before reaching the bottom of your planters. I would check your runoff ph and ec levels, if off, flush re nute at half what the bottle says and keep a check on your runoff ph and ec. Hope she turns around for you. Cheers friend

UKAgent47 Very please with the outcome despite issues, over watering and lockout all which I believe was down to using bad type of soil. Next one will go better :)

I think you have a fair yeild there, I would be concerned if those buds go white/grey any further. You could do an early harvest now and it would still pack a punch or risk another week and possible bud rot which will effect its potency. Still not bad for your first grow matey! Next time use a smart pot... The one with lots of holes.

@NexusDevil, thank you nexus, really appreciate the advice and think I will have to harvest as only looking worse :) yea I also used a crappy soil and thinking of using canna professional next grow and will definitely try the pots your advising :) cheers 👍

@UKAgent47, Yeah it'll still do its job, I have harvested at 4 weeks once and it still knocked my head off. When you harvest let it dry slowly and cure it for a month or two (if you have the patience) and you will get it nice and potent, a good cure will more than make up for the early chop. It will be more of a head high but thats not necessarily a bad thing!

Don't let this get you down mate, lots of us fucked our first grow up, some more than others, no biggie. 🙌 I am no expert of soil so cannot say too much what could have gone wrong. I found coco coir to be more user friendly to be honest.

UKAgent47 commented6y ago
@APOLLO, Thanks mate, yes I think the soil I used was too Peaty and wouldn’t allow water to pass through as well as it needs. Do You think I will manage to harvest anything from this grow or should I call it a day with this girl.

I would let her go personally just for experience. I would not expect too much from it (quantity and quality) though.
