6/4:
Finishing up my autos in the closet, so starting another batch of seeds to run outdoors this summer.
I tried to germinate all 3, but only got two to emerge. They're in 24oz starter pots now in the closet, but I'll transplant them into 1 gallon pots. I'm moving my finishing FFT clones in the tiny tent into the closet soon, so I'll move these seedlings into my tiny tent until big enough to take outdoors.
6/13:
Looking good. I transplanted them into 1-gallon pots today and fed them full strength nutes.
I forgot to take any photos of them while they were in the tiny tent, or really many at all for that matter. Too focused on harvests and other stuff...but there are a few of them before and after I took them outdoors and transplanted them into 3 gallon pots.
7/6:
Heavy thunderstorms last night and half the day today, so they won't be ready to eat again for a few days. I went out to the site about an hour after it quit raining today and saw HUNDREDS of tiny little green grasshoppers feasting on my girls!!! I immediately sprayed them all down with pyrethrins, and did it again right before dark.
I've got the fan blowing across the pots to try to dry them out faster.
I started using TPS One (one part nute solution) the other day, and the plants seem to love it. Really growing well, but I'm glad I amended their soil with some happy frog fruit and flower granular fertilizer this time. They get fed whether it's too wet or not.
7/7:
Sprayed for grasshoppers again this morning...hungry little fuckers...👺
It was a very cloudy day...but these girls are also just a couple of feet beneath 470w of 3000k LED's all day/every day, so it's always sunny.😎
Hoppers attacked this week...doing what I can. Both plants took some damage. I took a couple of clones from each of them, but that and all the others got mixed up when the tray I was carrying collapsed. A few got f'ed up pretty badly..not sure which..
Rough week for everybody...a solar bugstorm ensued and all the girls were ravaged to some degree. My mister fan hose busted and the temperatures were over 100f all week long.
Still fighting grasshoppers..
The two outdoors kinda suck...they aren't bouncing back at all...tried flushing them, and just feeding boomerang this week.
The clone (whichever and however many of them there are) look great. I've decided to just grow them indoors in the closet with the other clones and a few autoflowering seedlings. I flipped them to 12/12 and started a separate diary for the clones.
I took all the autos indoors to finish, so I turned off a couple of lights outdoors. They recovered well enough that they finally popped a few pistils..but they will not be showstoppers....maybe their clones will impress if grown in better conditions.🙏
