Multi-Strain Grow

Things continue to go really well! I couldn't be more impressed with the information and strategies I have adopted from the Coco for Cannabis community. While a lot has to do with experience of past grows, this time I do have the largest plants I've ever had with a lot of healthy traits. (Largest plant is at 30" with the average of the others around 25" tall; diameter of top 1/3 of each plant around 27". ) One thing that has gotten harder is taking photographs of individual plants. They've all sort of combined to create a single canopy covering the entire tent. if anybody has any tips on that, let me know, otherwise I think the next good individual pictures will be on harvest day. as I mentioned in my previous diary, I wanted to do a better job with defoliation which I have this time around. Here at 50 days from the time the seeds went into the glass of water, I've done some lollipopping to improve air circulation and allow growth to be focused on the canopy. I've implemented a lot of changes in my strategies over a short period of time, especially in this grow with automatic watering and draining system. But if I had to say the single tool that might have provided the biggest value to me this time around has been my cheap LUX meter. Being able to get a general idea of the distance to hang the lights away from the canopy, has really made a huge difference. I'm noticing earlier trichome creation on the proto-buds that I feel is partly due to them being in the Goldilocks zone within my tent... although it assuredly is due to a combination of improvements.
