King Kong seed was soaked if diluted seaweed extract and then placed with a wet paper towel, within 2 days seed had popped, then I planted the seed 1” below the surface, it then took another 3 days to break free (photos above) 4th July.
Soil I’ve made from organic compost with added bat mix soil, perlite, fish blood and bone, guano, bone meal, Epsom salts, Ecothrive charge and some mycorrhizae. I will be feeding with molasses and top dressing. I’ll also be trying out using coconut water during this grow
A wee survivor this one, though she was a goner during the week as 1st leaves seemed to taco, I left her and saw now a new leaf is forming and is a nice green so I reckon she’ll be ok, though will probably be a bit behind. No nutes used this week just plain water.
After some perseverance and loving care this little lady is at last growing. Nursed her through these last few weeks with coconut water, I also watered with water from cooking broccoli and sweet corn for a vitamin boost. Seems to have worked.
This lady AKA the survivor is coming along now, obviously a few weeks behind though is growing nicely. I think due to this being an auto and flowering by time she’ll be going in to flower soon and she’s tiny
I’ve given her nothing this week not even water, she’s not taking in much tbh, I’ll let her dry out then start with light feeding as I’ve spotted the first pistil and would like more growth before she’s in full flower.
Week 7 was also updated today, photos on week 8 are from 25/08
Still no need for watering this week though pots getting light, I’ll add some fish mix soon then get started on bloom as she’s definitely in flower now.
After letting her dry out somewhat I’ve been feeding her this week and she’s responding well, showing some nice bud sites though still very short. Luck of the draw with autos from some breeders.
Fed the soil with molasses this week, I moved her to flower tent as I‘m preparing for a new set up, she is now 12/12 and under 400w hps. Spotted some pistils turning and will start checking trichomes In a week or so. I defoliated a few fan leaves to allow light to lower bud sites.
first 2 photo's are beginning of week and last 2 end of week
She’s nearly done, not expecting to even water her again as I reckon this week she’ll be ready for the chop. She has been placed in my new flowering tent 5x5 under 2x 320w kingbrite 3000k/3500k mix Lm301b, Cree 660 with IR and UV (separate switches)
