Starting my first grow. Purchased Skunk CBD and received 3 free Seedsman Cheese! Going all natural with sunlight and potting soil from TLC. Will transfer to outdoor green house once completed with build. Might use vegetable fertilizer when it matures.

Repotted and moved to the Greenhouse. It’s hot AF in there but I have 2 fans and will have another come Sunday. They seem to be doing well. Just watering w/ faucet water or distilled when it seems dry. They each got a small amount of MG All purpose fertilizer when they were still in the little cups. I have some left over rain water that I’ll be using soon. The 2 Skunks have TLC and MG soil mixed bc it was all that’s left. 3 Cheese have only TLC potting soil, nothing fancy at all. I potted all plants fairly deep because the long stem made me nervous (didn’t want it to break or nothing).

Definitely grew quite a bit this week. I believe the plants are really now starting the Vegetative stage. We put misters in the greenhouse to moderate humidity and temp. We have a fan running sometimes when it’s too hot out. The clover is growing and preventing the soil from drying out too quickly.

All the plants are growing great and starting to smell. They’re very hardy, sometimes dealing with 110°+ F. Only watering with rain water (tap water if rain water isn’t available) every 2-3 days. The clover is helping it retain moisture. Also have a misting system in the greenhouse, although I pointed the nozzles away from the plants because they were getting overly misted and weighed them down.

All plants topped this week. Still tolerating the heat (120s sometimes!). We turn on the large circulating fan when it gets that hot. I have a small fan on the plants 24/7 (solar powered). Used neem oil to spray at the base of the plants (saw some small mites). Still using rain water to water and only 2-3x a week. I did use Miracle-Gro tomato fertilizer, 2cups/plant. Plants are doing great. I’m surprised how hardy they are. The SKUNK have skinnier leaves. Cheese is THICCer.

Each plant has been topped at least twice. I’m trying to top them as much as I can to make them bushier. They seem to be dealing with the stress very well. There have been several days over 100 temp which cause the leaves to limp but they bounce back immediately once I turn on the fan and fogger on in the greenhouse. I started LST on Skunk 1 but the wire I have is too heavy...I’m just gonna see how they do without LST, again this is supposed to be low maintenance, I’ll probably just continue topping.

Moved the plants outside so it can get more unfiltered sun. It is burnt here and there but I’m not babying it. It’ll adapt, they’re very hardy plants. Temp is getting up to 100s some days. Still using rain water for watering (1/2 gal per plant every 2-3 days). I’ve sprayed it twice with a neem oil concentrate mixed w water. I saw a baby caterpillar/maggot looking thing on it, so it had to die. There was a spider on one, I left that cause I know they help w pests. I’m topping every chance I get to keep the plant short and to allow the bottom branches to catch up. They bounce back from topping very well. Smell is getting stronger but I tried this new fertilizer called “Jobe’s Organics Annuals & Perennials” and it smells like straight chicken shit so it covers up the smell. It’s got a 3-5-4 NPK, kinda neutral and that’s what I wanted. I just sprinkled it on top of the soil and watered it. I ran out of MG tomato fertilizer, that’s why I bought the new one.

8/31 - Did some major defoliation. Removed large fan leaves and some bottom branches I knew weren’t gonna make it to the top or just taking up energy. Also took some clones from Skunk 1&2. Hopefully they survive in the green house. 9/1 - Cloudy/Rainy day. Keeping them in the greenhouse for safety. Not much to do today. 9/2 - Cool and sunny day. Soil is moist, no water today. Pistils showing on Skunk 1. 9/3 - Phone got water damage so no pics today. Just watered 3 of the plants w/ rain water. Nothing exciting today. 9/4 - Pistils showing up on nearly all of them. No water today, just relaxing in the sun. 9/5 - Accidentally dropped Skunk 1, about 1/5 of soil fell out. Just watered w rain water. Neem oil sprayed all the plants. 9/6 - Topped Skunk 2 and Cheese 2&3 aprox. 8 stems each. Also did some defoliation on each plant, some had insects eating the plants. Windy day today hopefully it’ll strengthen up the stems.

9/8 - I’ve thought about it and these plants have been 12-12 from seed, honestly, less than 12h of sun. They have NOT been getting the recommended 18-6 light cycle. Nonetheless, they’re doing great and growing strong. Skunk 1 is the biggest and honestly will produce the greatest amount of bud. It was one of the first ones potted and has MG soil in it. Next go around I’ll definitely use MG garden soil. Something is damaging Skunk 2 so I removed both lower branches and propagated the healthier one. Heavy winds and cold front coming in so they’ll be in the greenhouse the next 2 days. Each got 10-15c of soil mixed w a cup of the Jobe Organic “chicken shit” fertilizer. Cheese 1 and Skunk 2 got MG All Purpose Garden Soil cause I ran out of TLC top soil. I’m calling this week FLOWERING. Skunk 1 is getting smelly and producing more and more pistils and bud sites. The rest I’m sure are to follow. So it’s officially FLOWERING. 9/10 - 66° F in the greenhouse. Looking for cheap ways to heat it up. Thinking about fireplace. No water today. Just defoliating. Keeping them in the greenhouse. 9/11 - Chilly & windy day. Kept them in the greenhouse. Opened up the hatch and door for several hours due to afternoon sun warming it to about 91°. A little more defoliation, not much. No need to water. 9/12 - Will stay in greenhouse today, Oklahoma’s wind chill is dumb. No water, soil still moist. The SKUNK’S stems are turning purple! 9/13 - The kids got some sun today. No water. Everything is looking great.

9/15 - Each plant got 4cups of rain water yesterday. Was outside all day today. Skunk 1 is really thriving and smelling great. The rest have pistols coming in as well. It’s gonna get real smelly, real soon! I’m in a cannabis legal state so I shouldn’t have any troubles w the law. I also have a medical card and all my neighbors smoke so we Gucci. I’m going to fertilize them this week. Probably just gonna use some MG all purpose I have left. 9/16 - Decided not to use MG all purpose bc of the NPK formula. Using Bonide Liquid African Violet Plant food NPK 7-10-7. Which is more balanced for flowering stage. Each got about 4c of rain water mixed w formula. Not the exact formula I want but I also don’t want to buy the expensive bottles of grow. This is supposed to be LOW MAINTENANCE. 9/17 - nothing done today. Just sun! 9/18 - more sun! 9/19 - Each got 4c rain water and more sun. Weather is cooling down greatly, perfect timing for flowering! 9/20 - This diary is based off of Skunk 1’s growth. The other plants are going to be about 1 week into flowering. Nonetheless everything is looking great.

9/21 - Rough morning. Cheese 1 has some type of nutrient imbalance. I defoliated the plant and am just watching it. I tried doing some LST to Cheese 3 but it snapped. I wrapped it using plumbers tape, hopefully it survives. 9/27 - Currently on vacation so I haven’t posted that much. Plants are getting bigger and dankier and buddier. I’m still using the fertilizer with every other watering.

9/30 - Back from vacation. Skunk 1 is developing some beautiful buds. Skunk 2 is small but getting there. Cheese 1 is doing well after I accidentally split it. Brother accidentally dropped a chair on Cheese 2 so it’s now held together by string it’s also still rusty looking (probably phosphorus deficiency). Cheese 3 is getting buddy as well. Each got 4c of water w Bonide Liquid African Violet Plant Food 7-10-7. 10/3 - Each plant got 4c of water w Liquid African Violet Plant Food. Did some defoliation of the giant fan leaves. 10/4 - Each one looking healthy and developing buds. Still have some deficiency in Cheese 1 but it looks like it’s clearing up. Each got 4c of water w the African Violet plant food.

10/6 - All plants looking good. Watered the crap out of the Cheese w the deficiency, maybe it’ll drown it out. 10/7 - Nothing done, just sun. 10/8 - Each besides the Cheese deficiency got 4c of rain water mixed w African plant food. 10/9 - Kept then in the greenhouse today only cause I was lazy to take them out. They’re doing well. No water today, however, they get misted by our automated misters when it gets over 90°F. 10/10 - Took the plants out of the greenhouse so they can get some unfiltered sun.

10/11 - Sunny and hot. GF watered the crap out of each plant yesterday with hose water. 10/12 - Cold and windy today. OK weather is a roller coaster ride. Plants will stay in the greenhouse today to be protected from the elements. No water. 10/15 - They’ve been in the greenhouse the past few days due to heavy winds and low temp. Skunk 1 is ready to harvest any day now. I’m waiting for my microscope to come in to check the trichomes. Skunk 2 isn’t far behind (maybe a couple weeks). Cheese 1 still has the deficiency but still going strong despite it’s injuries and deficiencies. Cheese 2 is dealing w bugs eating at its leaves. Everyone got neem oil. Cheese 3 is short and sweet. Getting buddy. All plants would be harvested one after another. Gonna be hung in the greenhouse for several weeks. 10/17 - Just watered w rain water. Been in the greenhouse so it gets humid and warm during the day. Pretty cold at night but they’ve been doing well. INCOMING TRICHOME PORN!! 10/18 - Plants will be chillin in the greenhouse today due to possible rain. They’re already moist so no need to water. They’re looking great and trichomes looking cloudy. I think I’m going to wait for the slightest amber then harvest.

10/22 - watered w plain rain water yesterday. Each got 4c. They’re doing really well. Been kept in the greenhouse to keep warm and humid. It’s too windy in OK. Was tempted to chop off Skunk 1 to hang dry because some of the tri homes have ambered but realized it’s only been about 6 weeks in flowering. Gonna wait it out another 2 weeks.

This week has sucked. Ice storm has taken out power and internet for thousands of people. We’re using a generator to power the house. We’ve had to warm up the greenhouse using charcoal, which works pretty well. However, a bag lasts us just a day. Luckily, we haven’t suffered any plants casualties. I haven’t watered them as it’s pretty moist. Just trying to keep them alive at this point. Temps dip into below freezing. With the charcoal up and going, it could be 70s-80s in there. They’re some hardy MOFOs.

11/5 - Been hiatus. After a week of ice storms, I left for FL where I proposed to my gf of 9 years lol the plants are doing incredible though! We had to stick the grill in the greenhouse to keep the plants from freezing (we didn’t have power, still dont, to heat it up by electric). A lot of my other plants suffered CO2 poisoning basically but the Mary Jane held strong 💪🏾. Skunk 1 is cut and hanging. Skunk 2 had a ton of yellow leaves that I defoliated. I’m not happy w the bud size yet so I watered 4c w plant food. Cheese 1 still has the deficiency but the buds are looking great. 4c of water w plant food. Should be ready to hang soon. Cheese 2 is doing well, buds are looking thicc. 4c water w plant food. Cheese 3 doing well, buds are med sized. 4c w plant food.

11/8 - skunk 1 still drying. The rest looking good, no water today. I put 8 clones in a 5gal pot. Just fucking around haha 11/10 - Skunk 1 drying okay. Saw that it was a little moldy so I flipped the fan on to get some circulation. The rest are doing well. Each got 4c water w some plant food. 11/12 - Skunk 1 still drying. Other plants are doing well. Probably harvest in a couple weeks.

11/15 - Skunk 1 is still drying. Doesn’t look as green, could be my method of drying. It can be as high as 90° Or low as 30° in the greenhouse sometimes. I accidentally broke a little off and it still smells great. I’ll leave it for another week before I bag it up. I was able to harvest a seed from that small part I broke up. The Skunk lives on forever! The rest are looking great. Pretty decent size buds! I’m still gonna hold off on chopping them down...1-2 more weeks. I feel like I can get them bigger! UPDATE: Upon closer inspection, all 3 Cheese are starting to amber, so I’ll be chopping them down! I’ll be drying them in my bathroom. It’ll be a more controlled temp.

Skunk 1 still drying. I tried to do the snap test and it just bent. So maybe a few more days. Skunk 2 is ALMOST ready to be cut down. Probably 2 more days. Cheese 1&2 are stinking up my closet (in a good way!) Humidity around 50% and temps around 62-70°. Cheese 3 is in my bathroom and the buds don’t look as healthy as 1&2. Probably because I found a giant caterpillar munching on it. Regardless, it’s still going strong. 11/19 - Snap test on Skunk 1 proves it’s still not ready. 3 more days will be 2 weeks I believe. Skunk 2 trichomes are very nicely cloudy and barely starting to amber so it was chopped down today! Did some major defoliation and it’s hanging in my closet w Cheese 1&2. Cheese 1 & 2 are drying perfectly and they look great. Cheese 3 is in my bathroom drying and it’s doing well. Humidity does fluctuate in there when I’m showering but it clears up quickly. No mold or anything.

Easy strain to grow. Mine went through extreme cold (30s) to extreme heat (120s) and still turned out excellent! Very resilient! I watered here and there and fed them here and there. I grew 3 plants at a time. All were germinated and harvested at the same time. They were 12/12 natural light cycle. Half the time outside, half the time in the greenhouse (if it was too windy or weather was not ideal). Cheese 1 - Suffered multiple stem breaks which had to be taped back together, regardless, still produced 15g. Cheese 2 - Broke down the middle, patched together, still produced 20g! Had 1 seed. So I can keep the strain alive. Cheese 3 - The runt of the group produced 13g!

Had fun growing this. Learned a lot! Definitely need more light, more nutes, and less topping! I topped the crap out of these! Less topping next time. More light and nute schedule. Can’t wait to actually put some effort into these next strains!

Easy and hardy plant. Suffered through extreme temps (30s-110s °F) and still came out strong. Skunk 1 - I made the mistake of trying to dry it in the greenhouse. It became moldy and smells like hay. I tried to experiment and failed :( so I threw it out. Skunk 2 - Dried inside after I saw how Skunk 1 went. I might’ve dried it a bit too long bc it feels really dry. Nonetheless, still happy with it. 17g is the final weight. I didn’t weigh them wet.

Overall, I’m really happy about it. It was my first grow and a low maintenance one at that so it was fun. Learned lots and looking forward to incorporate that into my two new grows (24k Gold & Blueberry Yum Yum). I’ll update on taste soon!
