Hydro Spliff Blueberry

WildeWeed Hydro time again. Strawberry pie just finished, so here we are. We have been craving a blueberry strain for quite some time. Luckily the guys over at Spliff seeds hooked us up quickly. When I say quickly, I mean FAST. Had these seeds faster than I got from anyone. And how about this packaging??! Just cool stuff here. On to the grow! This is a photoperiod seed so we’re gonna have some fun. I can see a few toppings happening in the near future. See if we can’t get some nice dense colas off this girl. We just did a lighting upgrade so I imagine this should be one of our better harvests. This seed popped FAST. As in, less than 24 hours she was popping her head out already. I used a little it of Maxigro just to stabilize the pH this early on. I’m sure I’ve have to adjust a few times this week, but that’s fine. All in all real happy with how I think this ones gonna turn out. Follow along and see what happens! Thanks!

WildeWeed Things are coming along nicely so far. The roots are starting to come out of the net pot on the bottom now. In several different places. No pH issues at all this week and temps in the reservoir stayed right around 68-70 right where I want them. All in all I’d say we’re off to a good start. See ya next week !

WildeWeed Not much to report here. She’s just getting things going. Roots are in the water now. But that’s about it. Sorry for the shortness on pictures and info, but there’s only so much you can say and show about seedling in a bunch of clay pebbles. 🙂

WildeWeed Good growth keep on coming. Thick stems and leaves. Really a thick bulky plant. I love how she’s shaping up already. Did some training and some veg work this week. Coming together.

WildeWeed Just like the little one, I went ahead and hit the flip. She’s growing good looking acting right. Now much to report. A good indica strain that grows just like youd figure. Other then that, not much to say here.

WildeWeed The stretch has begun. Solid thick stalk. Branching is firm and sturdy. The internodal spacing looks great. Outta be a nice dense bud producing plant in several weeks. Loving these genetics. Making growing easy again. Thanks for looking.

WildeWeed Just like with the little solo, she’s stretching. She sure is liking whatever is going on. Roots are happy. Stalks are thick and healthy. Leaves are HUGE. Love the shape of this one and the solo both. We’ve been wanting a good blueberry strain for awhile. So this really works out well. I can’t wait to see the buds really start coming on. WildeWeed Boy oh boy. What can I say, ya just can’t argue with hydro. She’s blown up. I think the stretch is finally over and she’s putting on the pistols now. Shouldn’t be long to see some real buds forming on her. Roots are happy and healthy. The growth is thick and strong. This strain is definitely a power house. The greenbuzz nutrients are holding pretty well. It requires pH adjustment about once a day to be safe. But I stay on the pH pretty good so any variation gets corrected immediately. Organic in hydro is possible and here’s proof. However, we don’t have hydro pumps and such running so I can’t attest for how it would fare there. With all that being said, I’m really happy with how this grow is going. Strong genetics, good food, good light, can’t ask for much more. Let’s see if we get some budlets for next week! WildeWeed Things are cranking right along with this one just the same as with her solo sister. The buds are stacking up nicely. She just looks happy and healthy at this point same as she has from the beginning. Hopefully we can ride this wave of good fortune till the end. Thanks for looking!

WildeWeed We’re about mid flowering here from what I’ve seen from everyone’s diaries and have heard from other growers. Fireman said that was a fast finisher, so we’re gonna assume that’s right. She’s looking healthy and strong. Thick thick stalks and the buds are starting to form pretty well. The trichome coverage is surprising me as well. She’s frosting up pretty nicely already. Some of the pistils are still showing some pink tint. There’s some blue hues here and there on her as well that are not really bright or vibrant by any means. All in all, I’d say business as usual with this one. We will see ya next week!

WildeWeed Took pictures early last week and late this week, and wow what time does. She’s flying along. Fireman416 said back when I started this she was a fast finisher, and it sure seems he’s right. She’s packing it on quick. Sorry we didn’t get a full plant pic this week, but she’s a lot to deal with right now. Huge stalks and heavy buds. WildeWeed This was a good grow. She moved a little faster than the solo cup surprisingly. The trimmed photos were taken about 3 days after the pretrim. I can’t say enough once again about spliff and their genetics. Great people to deal with. Super friendly knowledgeable GROWERS also. Fast shipping. Plants that just WANT to grow. Every spliff I’ve popped so far thrives and looks amazing. I’m really happy we’ve crossed passed with spliff. There will always be room in our garden for them.
