I Let them recover after the first top. Then stripped the bottom nodes. Topped for the second time . Nodes are very tight on the gelato 33 she may need more time than the rest . Other 3 looking good .
Left to recover. Started to remove leaves underneath and tied down for the final time. Before the final top .
Been a rough week for the ladies lol they've been chopped, topped and bent in all directions . The aliens and the GZ responded well to training . Gelato 33 . Didn't like to be topped so much so only topped her twice . Will LST her now .
As you can see from the last picture they bounced back from all the training nicely .
Will continue to tie down tops and keep canopy even . Not long until flower ! Happy Growing 🌱
Start of week 6. Done most of the training on alien og pheno 1 and the gorilla skittles . Just need to trim and tie down the other two.
Tried to keep the canopy as even as possible. But is difficult as alien pheno 1 is so stretchy . Worried that shell stretch to much in flower. But will do my best to tie down and keep canopy as even as possible . Time for flower ! Happy growing 🌱
Not much happening this week. They have started the stretch and noticed first white hairs coming through . Defoliated a bit and removed some more nodes underneath the tops .
Buds are starting to form now . Both alien phenos are budding faster than the other 2 strains . Gave them a good defoliation this week and they seems to have perked up . Lollipoped some more nodes also. They are still stretching .
Stretch is slowing down now, So they are switching into full flower mode . Tent was too packed, so I did some defoliation on day 20. To increase air flow and decrease humidity . Did a final lollipop also.
Haven't touched them in a week since the defoliation . May need to strip some more leaves soon as they have filled out again.
Alien OG's look the best so far . They are filling out nicely .
Gorilla Zkittlez and the Gelato are a little behind.
Upped the pk slightly to 0.5 per litre. Will increase next week . 🌱

Alien Ogs are flying. They are swelling up nicely. Gorilla skittles looks good too.
Bit disappointed in the gelato 33 as it's taking it's time.
All is well though. Plane sailing from here .

Alien Ogs and the Gorilla skittles look great. Both should finish around day 63. Gelato 33 still has all white hairs and is behind the other 3 . Pk at max this week 1.2ml per litre will reduce soon.
Reduced the EC to 1.0. They packed on a little more weight especially the alien Ogs. Will start flushing in the next couple of days, thrichomes are cloudy .
Reduced temps to 23.5c in the day and 19c at night . To help them ripen and dense up .
Gelato is still behind the other 3 . But I'll give them a couple more weeks yet . So she has some time to catch up.

Started to flush at the end of this week . Will continue to flush until run off is down to 0.1 EC and water runs clear out of the bottom . They have started to fade now and ripen up . Looking to harvest at around day 65 of flower .

Easy strain to grow. Responds well to training . Good yielder too .
I had a problem with the gorilla skittles plant. It went hermi in the last week. So i ended up trimming an ounce off her and using the rest for hash .
Gelato wasn't a great finisher either. Harvested around 2 ounce off her . Smoke is average but a nice fruity flavour. The alien Ogs were excellent though I will be definetly trying them again in the future . The high was just what I wanted . Strong but relaxing , you can either get really creative on this strain or you can giggle a lot . The after effects make you sleepy too so maybe a better mid day/night time smoke . Alien pheno 1 was super sticky with purple hues throughout the buds . Probably the best girl I've ever grown. Gave me 5 Oz of top quality . Next time I shall be going for all alien Ogs . It's an excellent strain.

334g dried buds . Not a great return from 480 watts. But I'm happy with how the alien og turned out.
I have decided to give some autos a go next as this one was a long grow for one of them to go hermi . So will be trying some Strawberry pies from Fast Buds . Happy growing 🌱
@Ferenc, thanks mate. I've tried most styles of training but have to say this has been the most enjoyable vegging period . I usually let them grow out into big bushes . But I'm liking the mainline technique everything feels much cleaner. Will check out your diaries thanks for the comment ! Happy growing 🌱
Mainlining looking good. That's the one technique I have never tried as the recovery time from just topping or fimming sets me back a week or two already. Thinking of using a clone for trial run with it. Keep growing the dank!
@Obitrice, thanks. This is the first time trying main lining . There's a great tutorial on YouTube if you ever want to try it. His channel is called Rows of Green. I usually scrog or use LST but thought I'd give the main line technique a go, to see if I can improve yields . Will update in the coming weeks 👍
@getsomeUbik, thanks mate . It's been a bit tricky as they're all very different phenos. But it's been a very enjoyable vegging period. Soon be flipping that switch to 12/12 :)
That's some amazing defo and training, looking beautiful. You started pk early? Do you find more benefit this way? As the instructions seems to recommend for a week alone in the last week before the flush. I presume you've tried both?
@Chad053, hi mate . I usually just trickle feed the pk. I start it around week 3 at 0.3 per litre. Then week 4 0.6 ml then I usually max it out at 1.2 per litre around week 5 and 6. After that on week 7 I'll reduce it back down(0.5ml) leading up to the flush
@@MrCannuk, I've never tried blues Tbh mate so no idea there lol . But I've grown GZ before and I remember it having a sweet taste with a citrusy smell . Does pack a punch too 😌
The gelato 33 smells the best although the nugs are small compared to my others .
Grow looks amazing dude. Is that the actual ml/gal that you are using? Only reason I ask is that you have almost double the dose of nutrients in mg/L than I do but your EC is comparable. Looking to try new nutrients and was recommended Canna by a buddy and curious. Keep that ish amazing
@WhyNotA2, hi bud , yeah that's all ml per litre.
My tap water comes out at 0.1 EC so maybe that's why I'm not sure 🤷 or canna nutes may be less concentrated .
I've only ever used Canna and have no complaints . The canna boost is good stuff although not cheap :/

Yes, it has a high thc rate, but can you talk about any effects that will distinguish it from other strains? Are there things that make it extraordinary? Can you describe how it makes you feel? What about the colours, music, thoughts and pleasures?
I’m a little late on this dairy but I’m about to run this cultivar too. Those buds are fire bro. Great job. I was about to run Gorilla Zkittlez in my grow too until I read your comment. Now I’m gonna a tent full of Alien OG instead. Was she a big feeder?
