I shouldn't say new just new bulbs.
These 420 super veg bulbs are really nice. And I would say compete with any led.
Only saying this because I can maintain 3 inches from the plant during the whole veg and the plant lovvvvesss it no risk of burn like led.
I am a hid snob for flavor of my bud in harvest. So all harvest will be with eye hortilux bulbs since I bought so many at once.
The results im liking.
Until someone can give me the taste, and flavor from led that I see from hid growers I might make the switch. Not to say led cant grow amazing buds and give you good yields on making extracts.... the flavor country. Is where I like to focus my garden at.
Looking forward to this diary since I paid good money for the seeds from expert seeds. So far they are poppin. :)

Plants got white flies. So for the past 3 weeks i have been slamming them with neem oil
I had them outside for 2 weeks in my greenhouse while remodeling my grow area. Bad idea. So I believe now with dynagro. Neem I have resolved the issue with maybe 1 or 2 sightings of a white fly that's dead on leaves is still lingering.
It was scary seeing them overnight be just cascaded with white flies.
A learning experience for sure. Looking to soon putthese into flower.
Going into flower, white flies gone. Except one plant it might get kicked outside. Going with. Recipe for success, .25gallons per plant. every other day.
And then tiger bloom every fourth day. These are hydro nutes so Iwant the plant to always have nutrition available in small doses. And then add tiger bloom for all the essentials needed from my research.
Going into the second week with a lot of stretch, just doing some training for main bud spots..
also I tipped one plant sideways to experiment with side branching stretch so far socgood.. still spraying neem. Not playing games.
Will probably spray another week. To make sure I get no white flie surprises.

Lots of stretch. Doing some heavy training but the plants seem to like being directed to there final position just fine. Dried the soil a little to make sure we start off with no mold issues. Added another light. Rocking 2 1000 watt lights now. :) bumping at 750 watts to get them adjusted. And then I'll go full tilt.
So far the heavy nutrient feedings are being taken well.
Every other day 1/3 gallon technaflora recipe for success.
And every fourth day.
1/3 gallon of fox farm.tiger bloom. With 1/3 to 1/2 gallon of clean ro water in between days.
I'm going for the biggest dankness attempt before I might switch to full hydro. Still at this rate I will use 75 percent less nutrients than switching to hydro...
doing the test over soil cost to nutrients.
I'm still not convinced hydro is best.

I will be only using tiger bloom once a week, as I did notice a few lower leaves looked maybe burned at the edges
Other than that a good week bud spots are starting everywhere. I'm hoping for some big buds. Just by seeing the amount of bud spots already poppin out
Laid off the tiger bloom for a week. I will continue next week with a once a week feeding. And just added 1/2 tsp of calmag to my r/o water. Every other watering to ensure correct levels of magnesium to help the sugar daddy. Other than that. The development is looking good. I'm hoping to make great strides within the next weeks of course before harvest, with packing on the weight. So there is potential for a good yield as long as I keep them fed properly .... the smell of glueberry is something I have never smelt before lol. Very vevervevery very earthy and sweet smelling.

I will be adding tiger bloom one more feeding. And then onto the usual routine. I have upped the amount every other day to .75 gallons each plant of technaflora as they are getting quite thirsty. Plus i think they could benefit from it these last few weeks before flush.
I dont want my leaves to start turning early on, with no way to return the color. I'm hoping to get the flush just right to experience some nice color fade in the leaves. Theselast few weeks should be interesting nonetheless. As the density is looking to start. Im hoping they explode in nice growth for some fat nuggets for l

When a plant genetic says 8 weeks. Does this mean 8 weeks and chop. Or 8 weeks and flush. I'm still confused as this is only my 2nd grow. reason I ask is I'm experiencing a lot of fade. Ihave kept my ppms very steady. So I'm sure it's not deficiancy creating this at week 6
I reckon that will be a 56-63 day finish. Start flushing at day 49 If you think it will be ready in 8 weeks.
But I just checked another diary with the same seeds and he is at week 8 and still has another week to go although different environment etc so not a direct comparison.
Normally If a seedbank says it’s done in 8 weeks you can usually add a few more days to a week on to that in my experience.
You should probably invest in a cheap jewellers loupe to inspect trichomes which is the correct way to remove all the guess work and a quick YouTube search will give you good understanding of what to look for.

Well i think the fade was as good as it gets for the first attempt at fade. The purple came in nicely and the calyxxes have taken on some purple color :)
I couldnt be happier with the outcome...
I did start flushing 6 days ago and today. fed with the last little bit to help with carbohydrates and flavor..
the smell is too mucmuch for my carbon filter lol. Aboutc8 feet from the tent all you can smell is bud.
The last 7days. Are going to definitely be the most anxious throughout the grow.
I'm hoping for good yields off 7 plants.
Along with that purple accent to the terpene profile. I never like to anticipate weight but one of the bunch is definitely going to be heavy :)
The buzz is pretty heavy, I smoke all day. But I could see most smokers preferring this as a nightcap strain. Heavy body high for me.
This strain grows quick, its strong, and the buds look beautiful.
This strain has a crazy smell
Lol. It is very distinguishable and one of a kind. I got mine to fade out and the calyxes got some purp. The strain is very deep berry smelling and , a sour fruity smell. The taste although isnt what you would think it is upon its scent. It's a cool strain, it's not my go to. But I am keeping a few clones of it to keep it running in my greenhouse. If that says anything about the strain...then there it is.
@Buddha2, thanks. The weight surprised me in the end. No complaints here. Im looking forward to the winter I can turn off the ac and rest easy on my yields. And try out some more indica types
