One FF-9 into water
7/16
On to the paper towel and bag
7/18
Time for the rockwool to be used.
Vigorous tails on these girls, the FFT-9 did not want to let go of the paper towel and had a 1.5 inch tail.
All very healthy, still working on another to get a good germ
7/20
Green is showing so meet the girls of Shakespeare's A Midsommer's Night Dream
Second up is Helena - Maiden of Athens
7/22
Into solo cups 20% pearlite feeding twice a day to runoff with kangaroots at 8 ml/gal
7/23
Ending Kangaroots till transplant
Adding small amount of Fish Shit over the next day
7/24
Not much change, maybe 10% veg growth overnight.
Ending all but base nuets till transplant.
7/25
Made up the 5 gallon pots 20% pearlite 80% fully buffered and washed coco
Checking roots tonight on Titiana and Peablossom may transplant depending on how much they have penetrated the garden bag.
7/27
Transplant tomorrow
7/28
Transplant to 5 gal pot, as usual gave kangaroots 10ml/g and fish shit 2ml/g in addition to nuets
7/29
The indicas are really showing their size early
Lights on hours reduced due to heat to 16
Nuets increased to next stage
7/31
Being forced to use Cal-Mag per the feeding schedule released by GH was hoping it would not be needed but yes can see the beginnings of def.
Thats one strike on the new nuet line.
Adding 1.5 ml/gal cal-mag on routine basis and not happy about it
8/2
From results we are seeing have decided to go back to the cocotek, this is ok but getting problems we just did not have with the other line.
8/3
FFT-9 is living up to the hype
Start week 3 and she is doing great
Color is excellent size is very hopeful
8/4
Wow she looks good
Fifth node is up so topping day tomorrow. Looks well will post pics tomorrow
8/5
Topped and looking good
In a great place for a nuet increase which is coming tomorrow if all goes well
Dropped lights 2"
8/6
The big girl gets bigger even after topping.
Increasing nuets to 7ml/gal each of A&B
Dropping lights another inch
Recovering VERY nicely from topping
8/8
Growth has increased greatly, lights holding at 25", leaving nuets as is for now.
She may have to be topped again see later
Top dressed them and made nice 😎, kicked on the second light and spread them out raised the lights to 28" so as not to cook anyone till we get it dialed in.
8/9
Fully recovered from topping have opened up the plant to get light to secondaries by training down the fan leaves.
8/10 Week 4 and she is doing marvelously well
Great structure she has the typical "cabbage: leafing most FB indicas display at this point.
Leaving nuets as is
8/12
Moved the light up to 30" just looking for a veg sweet spot
A few nuet splash spots my fault
8/13
Looking good so increased nuets to 10 and 10 of cocotek A&B
Lots of growth tips rising from the leaf tucking we always do
8/14
Defoliation day not a lot removed but enough to open the tops to light.
Flipping in 3...
8/15
Recovered from all defoliation and growth tips aplenty in the light
Increased nuets to 12ml/gal each of cocotek AB, drinking more now
Pic tonight
Flipping in 2...
8/16
Continue defoliation, minor and selective to expose growth tips.
Flipping in 1...
8/17 Week 5 Flipping
Lights set to 11-13 for the first few days then 12-12
Nuets will transition accordingly
Took 2 cuttings from her for clones
Reducing feeds to once a day during the switch
Intro Cocotek Bloom a/b at 5ml/gal each
Reduce Grow to 10ml/g each
Next feed half and half
8/19
Switching to 12-12 from 11-13 think its done its work changes are afoot
8/20
Colas forming quickly may have to flip the week to Flower, lets hope so 😉
They getting a dose of Kangaroots 5ml/g and Fish Shit 2ml/g at intervals during transition purely as plants seem to need.
Pics tonight
8/21
Not there entirely yet but wont be long at all
Vertical growth has picked up strongly, 2" in 3 days, though I really wont call it stretch yet
Continued light defoliation keeping center clear
Nuets as is for now
8/24 Week 6 Flower
Reducing Grow nuets will Increase Bloom as we go.
Want a lower EC with lots of runoff for tonight, been pretty high and its going up from here.
Looking good what to say?
Stretch has started but its very reasonable
8/25
Nuets changed to all Bloom 8ml/gal A&B and Koolbloom 1ml/gal
EC at 1500 see if we can keep this until ripening
8/26
Resuming twice a day feeds
8/27
Giving a dose of Kangaroots for their early flower root building this is the last of that.
Defoliated lowers removing all under growth
Tent is getting pretty full ... maybe they are like goldfish...
8/28
Growing @ 1/2 - 1 inch per day still
8/29
Both her cuttings took so two clones of her upcoming
8/30
End of week six so Recharge for everyone! 2.5ml/gal one time
The girls look great
8/31 Week 7 and the damned tent is full .... such problems err?
25 sq ft of green, did not expect this really was hoping the extra space would allow more plants but this is full on 5
Plants doing well just trying to make em all fit
Nuets remain as is
Defoliation to try and get they to fit in the tent a bit easier, removed fan leaves.
9/1
Upped PK to 2ml/g the cotton balls have begun
9/2 Stretching nicely at 28"
9/4
Major defoliation cleaned bottoms middle tops get the buds in light and help them fit in the tent better.
Still hitting about 1 inch-ish a day nut seem to be slowing
9/6 Week 8 And she is doing very well
No signs of any problems nuets doing a great job
Added another light, custom 90w LED
Stretch has ended on her
9/8
Buds beginning to form tent is VERY full doing what we can to alleviate some crowding
9/9
Increased nuets due to purplish stems seen on the indicas. CocoTek to 10ml/gal A&B
Just trying to get things to behave in the tent its really full humidity is very low so thats helping
Took longer for things to get into full flower than we wanted, have to work on that
9/10
Pics Vid
Looks like stretch has stopped more or less
9/14 Week 9 and she is doing fine
Little vid she is center
Nuets not changing for now
9/15
Ok major changes
Brought up the alternate tent and placed her in it alone under a 150w Mars
This is a test to see if we can help the crowding issue in the Flower tent
Video enjoy
9/16
Doing well but some white tips are saying we gotta reduce the salts so will be dropping CT nuets 10% and upping PK to 2.5
Extra space is really doing them well
Defoliation again tonight the war on stemmed leaves has begun
9/17
Held a meeting of the minds and decided the best course of action is to flip the light schedule so I can feed them more appropriately, twice a day.
Leaving nuets as they are as this will drop pot EC. Setting the alarm for the AM before lights out at 7:30 and changing the sched to 6AM-6PM summer is done no need for current schedule. Lights be out from 7:30AM to 6AM long I know but should not bother them.
9/19
Lights on girls feed buds look fine
Video enjoy
9/21 No video uploads so no update
9/22
Week 10 update... finally
Looks good but going to add more Phos due to some red stems showing upping to 3ml/g
9/23
Reducing Bloom nuets @10% a day for a couple, down to the 80% mark now
Add Soul Peak PK to mix as well as Koolbloom need to use up the Peak and we want to see if it brings anything special.
Be in flush within 7-10 days on all but the sativa FF2
Vids up
9/24
After looking at things this morning have decided to start moving the FFT9 and FFT11 to flush.
Begin slowly cutting Bloom nuets tomorrow for those two so we can start flush at week's end.
9/25
Feed is changing as we move her into flush.
Lower Bloom A/B to 5/5 raised Koolbloom to 5ml Peak to 5ml
9/26
Like what we see keeping nuets here till flush
Vid/pic Addicted
9/28 Week 11 and Beginning Flush
No nuets
Look for 7-10 days till harvest
9/29
All good just a pic of the clones
9/30
Pics
She is slowly ripening, good trics, be ready in a few
I will be watching this one for sure as I am interested in FastBuds genetics. I have never run their genetics before and dont have much experience with Auto's in general, but I picked up a few Auto beans to run in the veg tent along with photoperiods. I figure the photoperiods will be moved to flower just in time for the autos to mature and finish before next run. I got 4 strains from Fast Buds: Blackberry, Purple Lemonade, Pineapple Express, and LSD-25. If you were going to choose one of those strains, which would you run?
@FoTwenny,
Any of them as its a matter of effect for us, the PE is the happiest of the lot, LSD the tripyiest ,all good :D
These however, are photos a test by Fast Buds of Fast Flowering (reduced flowering time) photo-period plants.
Grew some of the FF-7 which we think is Northern Lights a few months ago. Excellent pot
