I'm going to keep this one simple. Holes are 2" up. Fill with hydoton to the holes. Cover with some slightly amended Pro-Mix HP M. A Little hempy solo cup is made. I don't think aeration is neccessary at the rate water will be absorbed. I still have time to change my mind. I'm worried a hempy will require me filling the reservoir 2-3x a day. I really don't want that sort of committment. Anyway, having never done this before, I have low expectations. I'm thinking 4 vertical shoots and keep it clean, otherwise. A vegetative period long enough for a healthy topping with meaningful growth nearly ready to go bloom. ETA 2-3 weeks vegeatative growth from sprout, then 3-5 days recovery before 12-12 schedule begins. Root structure should be over-sized for initial bloom growth as it catches back up due to limitations of a 16oz root zone. July 15 - Soaking a seed until it sinks. If it doesn't sink by the time i go to bed, i will plant it to avoid any germination in the water. I have prepared substrate ready for use. It'll get a good run through of nutes, empty the reservoir, and plant the seed. When i think it's worthwhile to fill the reservoir, i'll give it a healthy feeding to even out substrate and incipient reservoir. Think i needed another cm of hydroton, but oh well. It is planted and ready to go. Solo Cup 2020 - 7 complete days. Jul 19 - Hey-hey, sprout visible at 9AM. 3.5 days to sprout. Jul 20 - Looked pretty cranky as an early sprout, but looks normal now. Jul 21 - It’s a plant in a cup. If it grows as vigorously as the 4x GPFV1, then I can attribute the voracity with the substrate and not genetics. Coco coir was a massive mistake. Jul 22 - Gave a good fertilization with run off. Set basket on side of tub and gently watered. This seems to work very well without impacting substrate’s integrity. Put some scrap piece of poly film into basket so it doesn’t drip all over the floor of vege area. Tipped it slightly so that the water is slightly below the holes. Based on growth rate of this and the 4 Sweet Seeds, it is safe to say that coco coir sucks ass. BWAHAHA.. I can admit when I’m wrong. Coco coir was a horrible idea that only set me back months. Jul 23 - If it’s the same size after ~8 days as the Green Poison, I’ll be a happy camper with my new substrate choice. Plants have vigorous vegetative growth again. Jul 24 - A little red in the stem. A little soft, but I don’t think I need to prop it up. Re-thinking size and shape. I may need to do 1 stalk due to space concerns. I won’t sacrifice my other 2 larger grows for this future likely turd, lol, that’ll kinda be the shape... Week one is complete.

Solo Cup 14 24-hour cycles complete since sprout. Jul 26 - Little red in stem, little floppy. This will clear up over next 7 days. Jul 27 - The Sweet Seeds GPF1FV were more vigorous at same point in cup. ½ to 1 day behind? Hindsight -- this is correct. Jul 28 - She goin’ be green on top (algea at this time, but has gone away - can't see as well in new pictures, so this makes no sense now.). It’s purely for aesthetics, yeah that’s the ticket! Jul 29 - Looking better, more robust. Due to root-bound clone swap debacle, I think I have a good idea how large this plant can grow. Had a good idea for the resulting shape that should fit Jul 30 - Gave a healthy watering, slight tip to ensure it’s slightly below drain holes. Better start paying more attention. Fairly good idea of what an empty res. feels like. Think growth is pretty close to the recent plants in same substrate, possibly a tick slower, and expect it to recede sooner than later in comparison. Will top it soon as I only want 2 stalks to work with. (ha, i will flake about this a few more times) Jul 31 - 12 complete days, 13th ongoing. Topped plant due to time constraints. Settled on four to grow out. If any lag I will cut up to 2 more off. I expect this to be in the bloom box before 3 weeks are complete. Expect 16-18 days of vege growth into 12-12. 14-16” height? Should get 10-12” after bloom or hit height limit due to root volume. Felt a bit light. May need to work a tube down side to bottom-irrigate. Red felt empty and I topped, so I freshened her up. Waiting for a very light cup before next irrigation. Aug 1 - Allowed time concern to feed my impulse to top a bit early… she’ll be okay, but I may need a few days over 3 weeks of vege time. This thing may end up squished in corner of box. Some growth visible 24 hours after topping, so I don't think I shocked it with an early mutilation -- good luck on my side.

14 Days - No notes 15 Days - Been trending down since the topping. Assume it’s sucking the leaves for the little axillary buds to grow asap. They were a bit too small for a topping, but time constraints and impulsiveness / irrational compulsion ruled that day.. 16 Days - Top two axillary buds took off. Will tie them out until other 2 catch up. If needed, will tie up ‘other’ 2 growths so they grow more vertically once they get a bit more leggy. 17 Days - Still trucking. Tied top 2 axillary growths down. Allowing some stretch until lower node surpasses slightly and fine-tune with slack. Will increase light intensity at that point. After 2-3 nodes of vertical/even growth out of each, I’ll switch to 12-12 schedule. ETA 23-24 days? 18 Days - Irrigated in AM. Top was not dry, but since lower 2” is hydroton, I figured it was just about dry down in the reservoir area. Method: water until a good rinse through to create a good equilibrium in the substrate. Decant reservoir, then water a bit more to fill back up with fertigation. Further bent and secured plant. Tied slip this time to resist more hydrostatic pressure. 19 Days - Growth has surprised me. 21-24 days is possible, but plenty of room for error if it takes a bit longer. May need to tie up lower nodes toward center to hasten their growth slightly. Give it another 24 hours and reassess. 2nd nodes are stretching out. Once it goes completely vertical and even with other 2 axillary shoots, get light intensity dialed in for roughly ~1” between each node as a goal. 20 Days - Tied up lower axillary shoots to give apical dominance. Adjusted ties on other 2 to keep them a bit lower. Once it evens out, I’ll remove it and bend it out a bit, if needed. Removed single-bladed serrated leaves. Still heavy, but may try to fill up reservoir tonight. Growth has been much better. Clearly topped a tad early out of impulse. Expect it under 12-12 by end of 4th week at latest. 20 Days PM - Looks good after tying it up. Can already see a visible difference from morning. Can inspect and adjust ties as needed to maintain shared apical dominance - or rotate it around as needed. Latest pictures are 21 day-night cycles completed -- early morning of 22nd day.

21 Days - Responds well when I fill reservoir. Increased light intensity to normal vegetative levels. Everything should be growing north over next couple days. Fill rez AM/PM going forward with heavy runoff once a day. 12-12 on horizon + ~63 days + 7 drying, 70 and counting out of 81 days left in contest. Might get a total of 10-14 days from harvest to give a taste report. So, hop-to! 22 Days - Funny thing: the more I feed, the more it grows. Waiting for a bit more vertical growth from the top 2 axillary shoots and apical dominance of lower two for a tad bit longer. Before then end of week 4, this will be in the bloom box. Would like to see the leaves a bit happier too. Cm of pH given. 23 Days - Continuing to have higher hopes for this plant. Leaves aren’t perfect, but it’s responding well to 2x daily rez-fillings and doing best to maintain proper nutrient ratios and concentrations. 2” reservoir is used up fast enough that it isn’t drowning. When reviewing and adding to consolidated notes, make sure to use a fill tube in future. Takes forever to water properly 25 Days - Feeding AM/PM and it’s responding well. Upper node is outpacing growth. May have to live with it, as I need these to grow vertically ASAP. Will likely prune any growth on the horizontal section sooner than later. Next irrigation, if I recall to do it. 26 Days - Chugging along. Another day or 3… we’ll see. I pruned the large branches back to where I want it to go vertically. Lower axillary growth was lagging and only falling further behind by the day. Theory: lower growth surges ahead a bit, and the higher axillary growths will catch back up by end of bloom stretch. 4 symmetrical shoots, hopefully. Get 2-3 nodes from the new terminal buds and 12-12 it goes. 27 Days - Well I’d say the other 2 are ahead, lol. Slight growth from new terminal buds on other 2. It should pick up quickly. I left a local leaf. Good thing I have another week to play with. May need it all. This has a 5-week limit. Sunday is the 28th day, which is ongoing/incomplete. I have no intention of using 35 days unless absolutely neccessary.

28 Days - About an inch of vertical growth and a complete node plus terminal from each. Another 1-3 days likely all that will be needed.. 29 Days - New terminal buds are growing out well. It’s in more immersive light, and today or tomorrow would be fine for 12-12. I have no idea how I’ll fit this into the bloom box. PM- Good growth today. Wedge a space and suspend some osb with adjustable hangers and some parachute cord. Get in there with the light meter and see if I can find a high perch in a corner that doesn’t involve cramping the rest of the box. Yet to be determined. Removed axillary growth growing down. Will need to thin what is above too. 30 / 0 Days - Put into bloom box in AM for first 12-12 cycle. Hung a short 2x3 with a cup molding along side wall. Bag is currently wedged underneath for any errant drip. Will get that more affixed later. Surprisingly going well first day in box. A bit crowded, but the way I’ve grown Green Poison (fast v) it shouldn’t bush out except for foliage growth, which it is above most of that. Obviously the solo cup can only grow north 6-12” and that’ll be that. The way GB is progressing and looks under the scope, maybe I’ll hit a genetic lottery for an early finisher, but I wouldn’t bet on that. 31 / 1 Days - Definitely cramped to keep green poison under proper coverage. Already even with canopy. The recently pruned shoots are already gaining dominance again. This will be a bit early - for future reference. Back to 1x watering a day and checking weight at night. Initially it seemed better, but leaves aren’t what I like to see. I make sure to tip reservoir and refill to limit possible buildup. 32 / 2 Days - Made it with 1x watering and a tip over (slight lean) in box after door closed, lol. Probably lost half the reservoir, which really isn’t much. In hindsight, I should have goon 100% mix, layer of hydroton at bottom only for drainage. 33 / 3 Days - Vigorous growth. The higher node growth isn’t shooting ahead, and it is fairly even. For a complete shot in the dark, I made a good guesstimate on that timing -- so far. Should have 3 fullnodes on those new terminals. May lollipop the other a bit so as not to impede overall growth once it hits it’s “limit” due to solo cup confinement. 34 / 4 Days - Not concerned about maximizing height - should get there. Good growth through only 4 days. Erred on side of hitting size limit early and was successful - bit early to count the chickens, but 2-3 more nodes is all it needs for a decent bud-zone. (ongoing 5th day of bloom) Looking good for first partial week of bloom phase. 30 days of 18/6 and 5 complete days of 12-12 by the time this is posted online. Should easily reach height ceiling due to root zone before end of vege growth. Based on previous seeds, I have 62-65 days of flowiering, so 57-60 days left from posting, plus ~7 days to dry. It’ll be tight. It’s getting submitted one way or another… This square peg is going through that f%$#ing round hole one way or another! This is okay, as this plant often looks pretty but is severely disappointing when smoked, LoL.

35 / 5 Days - Looks good headed into 6th week. Rotated cup as the leaf against wall wasn’t looking as happy as could be. 36 / 6 Days - Looks excellent given space. Slight stretch on first internode above lollipop on the higher axillary shoots. They have taken dominance much faster than expected. Hopefully, the nugs fill out on the lower axillary shoots. 37 / 7 Days - Not sure how much more height it’ll gain, but still growing. Think the current ebb and flow of watering I’ve reached is working well. I don’t think it’ll gain enough mass to require enough to impact the routine. 38 / 8 Days - Still no sign of stopping vertical growth. Upto 10” on the two tallest, maybe 9” on shorter too. But, only top 5-6” is the bud zone at moment. Another 10 days of growth, so I should get close to a 12” zone if it’s capable of that much vertical growth -- possibly more if it surprises me - 5-10” more wouldn’t be crazy in a regular-sized pot. Due to position, 3 shoots would have been better. One is being smooshed by wall. This contest came out of nowhere, and wasn’t sacrificing a ~75-100g plant for it. Trimmed off some leaves that were pressed against wall. Removed an outward facing shoot with the same problem. 10-13 days of vege growth left given experience with this strain. 39 / 9 Days - Wow, another 24 hours of excellent growth. Top 2 nodes are no doubt larger, but node spacing is better on the lower two. Both have about 4-5 bud-bearing nodes plus a terminal (i.e. not pruned off). Should have a week left of vegetative growth, but I doubt it’s vertical height continues the entire time. I don’t see it getting over 14-16”. That’ll be about a 12” bud zone. Any surprise will be a good surprise. Plant is as healthy as it’s ever been. 40 / 10 Days - Still think it’s getting taller. Lower 2 shoots aren’t doing much anymore as the tallest two have dominance. I’ve made a couple notes of this so it burns into memory. 41 / 11 Days - Healthy and happy -- as tall as I ever expected it to get after seeing a rootbound Durban Poison clone swap dumpster fire I got stuck with. I think it’s still growing taller, too. Has at least another 7 days of vegetative growth before blooming full-bore. ________________________ Another surprising week for the solo cup. Leaves are great. Growth is beyond expectations for such a small root zone. I see no problems on horizon. The only drawback is that it is cramped. It is impacting the symmetry of the plant at this point. 10-14 days and it can likely slide into GB’s gap.

42 / 12 Days - 18-19” with the cup in AM. About 10” zone of potential buds at moment. Rotated cup to try to even out the growth. 43 / 13 Days - Still growing… autopilot is engaged. 44 / 14 Days - Closing in on 20” including the cup. May do some late pruning. Lowest growth looks horrible. Bending 2 primary shoots isn’t enough. Further measures taken with a paperclip and duct tap.. just kidding I’m not macgyver, but a paperclip is a useful tool. 45 / 15 Days - Removed some lowest, stretchy growth on the 2 primary shoots. Dumb-shit was moving a plant around to water more easily and solo cup fell anywhere from 12”-18”. Luckily, substrate remained solid. Slightly bent a terminal bud. Otherwise, it was okay. (only 1 person works on this garden, if that isn’t clear.) 46 / 16 Days - Tufts easily visible. Very similar to all other ggxww seeds, but not the fastest of them. 47+ days left… Approaching 2’ with cup. 47 / 17 Days - Little budlets all over. On a familiar track. 48 / 18 Days - Good thing I take notes in AM after watering. I forgot to water this little guy and need to do so. Probably nearing end of vegetative growth, but could have a few more days too. If not 24” including the cup, it’s only a hair short in morning. 6” since last Sunday. Removed some lower growth I thought was going to be fluffy trash. ------------------------ Seven weeks complete and nearly 3 full weeks of bloom. Things are going well. The internodes are too large, but it’s no big deal.. We’ll see how they fill in before any final judgment on that. Should be able to give more optimal light most of this coming week and beyond as Gorilla Blue will leave a nice gap to fill. This may be too late for vegetative growth, but will help power the bud development. Maybe, that will allow it to fill the gaps better?

Summary - Vege growth surprised me with a little extra stretch, but should be done at this point. Some trichomes showing this week a bit more. Plant is on track for ~60-65 days as were all the other ggxww seeds. Top area looks good. Probably should have cut anything off below 10" deep. -------------- Daily notes, ramblings... See how often i flip-flop and have a good laugh at one thing or another. 49 / 19 Days - Looking like a dandy… But seriously, should improve this week. Just in time for the bulking up it’s going to get a massive environmental improvement -- the most elbow room in the entire box by far tomorrow morning. Might break 2’ with cup. It was pretty much there today, depending if you count the praying leaves near top. There’s a measurement from this morning in last week’s update. 50 / 20 Days - Only slightly late environmental improvement to get the most out of bud development. Elbow room and lots of fresh air around every shoot. Buds were forming a few days before this. Have it raised up to 27k intensity at canopy. 51 / 21 Days - Slight growth as she is over 24” with cup, now. Only an inch in 2 days, so it’s pretty much done. Three weeks is very consistent for this seed-line. Buds haven’t begun expanding yet, but by day 30-35 it’ll be done with that. By day 42ish it’ll show some initial signs of plump and take 63+ days to finish. Unless it has different needs than its sisters before her, I shouldn’t run into problems whatsoever. 52 / 22 Days - SSDD 53 / 23 Days - SSDD 54 / 24 Days - Filling in much better than I expected. Stacking hasn’t started but expansion is incipient. It’s burgeoning.. teeming with potential and fomenting zealous anxiety about future buds, and some other words, but small and difficult ones I can’t think of… I’ve lost half my vocab over the length of my adulthood, BWAHAHAH use it or lose it… But seriously, looks like it’s better than I expected, and I like to be surprised. There;s maybe ~4 lower shoots I should have cut off.. .and still might. Definitely before any final pictures are taken. 55 / 25 Days - Frost is starting - not the earliest I’ve seen with these seeds, but certainly within range of normal. Top colas may fill in better than I expect - at least top 6” or so. The next nodes may surprise me, but the lowest growth looks a bit suspsect. Should have pruned it. I don’t want to stress this plant as it is prone to nanners. One nanner will cause the end of this plant… I won’t risk 90% of box for this little twig.

Summary - Feeding 2x a day and dry at that point. Development is surprisingly good. I did remove a couple larf twigs from below. Some minor symptoms low on plant showing, too. See some plump after 32 nights, so that bodes well for the expected time frame. Still think this is a 65-66 day plant, which will cut it close. ------------------------------ 56 / 26 Days - Adding a bit of fertilizer at night before lights out for a bit now. 57 / 27 Days -Expect stacking/expansion of buds to end in a week. Slowly filling in. The stigma seem thinner than previous seeds, but possibly a few more? Find out soon enough. 58 / 28 Days - Plugging along. If things don’t progress a bit faster, I’m worried this is a slower phenotype. If so, this will be a big problem time-wise. 59 / 29 Days - Removed a 3.5” riser. Had a hint of overexposure on taller cola toward center of box. Filling in well and a bit deeper than expected. I’ll have to look back at diary. In hindsight I’d lollipop 1-2 nodes higher on the 2 dominant shoots. 60 / 30 Days - Okay, this girl is really filling in. Maybe not full “bo derek”, but nice all the same. Might not see a big change until the following update, but should shift into gear soon. Should look more bud-like in 10 days and another 20 to finish. While the GPF1FV looks a bit ahead, I don’t see it cracking 8 weeks as of yet. 61 / 31 Days - My OCD got the better of me. Kept seeing those twigs at bottom, and I cut them off. Plant is looking strong. SSDD - pull it out, water until significant runoff, put it back in rotated. 6” top cola may be a underestimate, but sticking with it. 6-8” on the primaries, maybe 4-6” on smaller 2. 62 / 32 Days - Hint of overexposure at top. Not sure if it is old damage or not healing. A little light lime colored spot at top but not spreading. I have lowered the plant lately, so giving that more time. Expect this to look bud-like by day 42 and 3 weeks to ripen, give or take.

Summary - Still trucking… Good development. Little lime-colored spot at tip (overexposure) is not visible and/or healed. Lowest node with buds should have been lopped off. This is how I want to ‘err’ -- with a minimum left over and not too much taken off. A couple ‘suckers’ at the bottom isn’t going to have a large impact on plant and preserves a larger yield with more easily trimmed buds and fewer of them to trim. Probably a larger yield otherwise, but much more work trimming. Can still push 75-80g per 1/4th area while over-lollipopping a bit. ~360g per ½ box still the goal. Without leaving more lower buds, may only reach 320g once I learn better. I think I can get to 12g per cola. 7*12 = 84g 7*15=105g.. I think >12g is doable with some plants. 63 / 33 Days - Gave elevated N irrigation. Some cannibalization of undercarriage. 64 / 34 Days - Continuing with elevated N tank fertigation. This looks like a seed that can take longer than ~65 days. Day 73 of flower would be the last day of contest, and I planted this within a day or two of it being posted with only 30 days of vege. At the least I’ll be able to post a harvest, which I think is the main factor, but no dry weight likely. PM - irrigated with elevated N. Removed some larfy bit at bottom. Took a couple leaves off at bottom. Didn’t water 2x yesterday and see a drain on plant today. Think it’s safe to dote more. 65 / 35 Days - SSDD - continuing with elevated N mix. 66 / 36 Days - If I see yellow sneak into leaves where buds are, up the dose. 67 / 37 Days - Contest would end on day 72 of bloom. This one looks a bit slower than the other seeds, murphy’s law. Skipped 2nd feed today. Seems to be a hair too much. Give ~2-4oz each night after it airs out tonight with none extra. 68 / 38 Days - Late irrigation today. None at night. Better be Johnny on the spot at 530am-ish. Leaves below buds are being cast off, otherwise it is lush. 69 / 39 Days - Okay, good choice not to water last night. Lower leaves are yellowing. Top leaves showing some red. This plant’s leaves will be a dark purple in a few weeks. The other leaves are very healthy so I’m not so worried about shedding the lower leaves at moment. However, this leaves little room for error the rest of the way.

Summary: Truckin’ along, but wish she wouldn’t stick to the speed limit so religiously. First of these seeds to not look fairly bud-like after 42 nights. Based on recent development, I’d wager 49 nights or more to get to that benchmark. That’s pointing toward a 70+ night bloom period. I have 72 possible just to include pictures of chopping it down. Oh well, hopefully the harvest is not the most important point of the judgment process. Typical light smell of chocolate early on. --------------------------------- 70 / 40 days - Well, this is going to be a very dark and purple-ish canopy I can already see. Due to familiarity with this seed-line, I can also tell this one is developing more slowly than the previously germinated. Thankfully, the contest isn’t necessarily about the harvest and more about difficulties of growing in a small, root-bound space. By now there should be some serious plump visible in the top colas -- not swollen or ripe, just more the bracts/pistils creeping up the stigmata and coated in tiny developing trichomes. I see a little of that, but if not big changes in 2-3 days I’ll be concerned about finishing this plant in time. Should have had another week’s worth of time had I not made a couple mistakes early in vege period. 21 day vege is better. 71 / 41 days - SSDD 72 / 42 days - Possibly picking up the pace. A few visible bracts displaying only the intials stages of ripening as opposed to a whispy hair projecting from unseen bits. Rah-roh, this plant is slow. Figures of all the ggxww seeds, this one is the sloth. PM - gave some fertigation. Felt extra light. 73 / 43 days - SSDD - give a little less at night. Fill up to lip 1.5 times, not 2x. A tad dryer in AM would be good. 74 / 44 days - Looks healthy. Still turning purple. 75 / 45 days - Top leaves have turned a full shade of purple. Lower leaves are turning too. Space heater was added to room. 69-72F minimum temperature from now on. This strain has a tendency for purple leaves, regardless. They are healthy, otherwise - not crispy or clawing etc. A surprisingly very healthy plant. Possibly the healthiest plant in bloom box at moment relative to 45 nights. Most likely due to proper drainage its entire life. Future of garden looks good after 6 months of doom and gloom then adjusting to new lights. Biddy-biddy-bop, funky, funky. 76 / 46 days - Really needs to pick up the pace! Must be some kind of joker… maybe a steer.. oh shit, that got all f’d up. Major malfunction, see summary above..

Summary - Another easy week. It does take daily watering, but not as much maintenance as I expected. A little splash at night isn't necessary, but I've seen it slightly wilted in morninig 1 time and want to avoid that. Going to guesstimage 14g - 20g from this plant. p.s. those lights aren't crooked.. must be angle of camera.. Daily Notes: 77 / 47 Days - Moister in PM than normal. Didn’t irrigate last night either, if I recall. Still the same conclusion: this thing needs to pick’em up and put’em down with haste. 78 / 48 Days - Slowly progressing. Some burnt tips, but nothing to be overly concerned about. Possibly related to 3.5g/gal of part A. Regardless, plant is very healthy for nearly 7 weeks into bloom. 79 / 49 Days - First time I saw hint of wilt in morning. Resume consistent irrigation in PM with runoff. While I no longer think a harvest is possible before end of the contest, it should at least look the part by then. Leave coloration is very consistent. Very dark purple, with lower leaves seeing speckles of a darker red that will soon fill in like the leaves up top. 80 / 50 Days - Well, it was moist in morning. Yesterday’s observance may have been caused by a late irrigation. Slowly progressing. Can’t help but wonder if it has to do with limited leaves. PM Some discernable development lately. Top colas displaying some sort of plump. This plant is mostly pristine with dark leaves. 81 / 51 Days - Quite moist in morning. Dial back PM hydration just to get it to morning safely. Good visible progress each day lately. 82 / 52 Days - Sitting pretty. PM irrigation yesterday was the correct amount. Might look nug-like in a few days. Hope she ripens quickly. Regardless, it won’t be a full report as of contest end date. 83 / 53 Days - Looks happy. Dial back PM hydration a smidge more.

Summary These nugs look amazing. One spot has three little buds -- all nice and tight, despite location and size. Obviously, this will not be done in time. I'm hoping the last update will look more bud-like for the contest. I think this is going to be some very nice looking buds. The top colas are tight AF. I was afraid to apply pressure or damage the plant in order to make it squish a bit, plus i don't like touching colas unless i have to - like trimming. The pruple has finally crept beneath top few levels of leaves with more than a snail's pace. Still a happy, healthy canopy after sixty-one 12-12 cycles and inevitable force of senescence. The extra riser has been removed, I started to see some impact on the shape of top colas. _______________________________________________________________ Daily Notes 84 / 54 Days - Happy camper… Good aesthetics? I don’t understand such things, lol. 85 / 55 Days - Progressing, but at best it’ll look bud-like at end of contest. Raised it up 3.5” due to shielding and location. Will keep close eye on top bits. Want to increase the energy absorbed by the greener leaves. Top leaves are purple and that means it is reflecting at least some portion of red and blue wavelengths. Color changed stalled -- genetics or temp-related? Been a more steady with a minimum of 69-72F, lately. Lights don’t add more than 4-5F to bloom box, if that. 86 / 56 Days - Seems fine with added height. Will have closer inspection on Sunday. Feeling more optimistic about yield. Definitely 20+ grams, but can it push 1 ounce? 4-5g of smaller and 10g of larger branches -- 28-30g. May fall short, but all the nugs have some density to them. 87 / 57 Days - Another day.. moving along fairly well. 88 / 58 Days - Seems okay ~10% from lights. They are running at a different amperage since I adjusted them a 2-3+ weeks ago. Need to observe and draw some conclusions about the change. No light burn seen, no signs of initial stress, seems okay at moment. This girls is really surprising me. Some real nice development of buds lately. Should look bud-like by end of 9 weeks. While there won’t be a harvest, should get some fairly accurate pictures of end product. 89 / 59 Days - Second time in 89 days I’ve let it wilt a bit. Lower leaves were drooping. Top leaves still praying, so I don’t think it was too detrimental. Gave a little extra runoff to ensure balanced substrate. She is looking like a very pretty girl, nowadays. Some nice crystalization. Lots of plumping left, but nice, dense nugs for this seed-line. Even the lowest buds are tight. 10-12 from side 2 branches, and 14+ from the 2 in middle. 25+ grams is nearly guaranteed. 90 / 60 Days - Looking pretty. SSDD. Saw some oddities in bud shape, so removed 3.5” riser.

Happy Harvest Day!

By far the best phenotype, and best behaviour while growing it. Figures this is the one i didn't clone. Looks frosty. Smells like others, so i can assume taste is similar. A little spicy-earthiness is expected. Still has a hint of chocolate smell early on as other seeds did. Always potent, so no worries there. 8 - personal preferences relating to taste / length of bloom. Potency is not a problem. Smell - chocolatey now, but will be more flowery and fruity later. Taste - Earthy, spicy, woody Potency - Not one seed has been weak. This one looks as strong as the better ones i've germinated. A bit disappointed i did not clone it. Looks pretty for a purpel-ish bud. Smokes well. Not the tastiest in my opinion. I'm not a big fan of the earthy/woody taste.

A bit disappointed i did not clone it. Looks pretty for a purpel-ish bud. Smokes well. Not the tastiest in my opinion. I'm not a big fan of the earthy/woody taste. __________________________________________________________ Alright, I feel pretty good about this result. Never tried anything like this before. Surprised I only needed to water 1 - 1.25 times per day toward end. Shows how a simple setup can provide great results with good behaviour. I was religious about a 20% runoff each time I irrigated. Each time i irrigated i provided the Nutrient formula given by the PPM screenshot each week. Every single time with 20% runoff... No buildup, no problems ==> healthy plant all the way until the end. The formula is not perfect as there are blemishes, but i can make very small and precise adjustments, if it is grown again. Expecting well over 30 grams (10/26 This was a bad guess, 20-25g is a better guesstimate as they shrink up). The nugs once trimmed and pruned off larger branches essentially covered a 8.5x11 piece of papre as i carried it to the mesh rack. Some of the lowest nugs, while tight, are smaller than i wouldn normally keep. I'll toss those into the rosin bin at some point. The pictures mostly go in order of occurence. Pre-trimmed plant, trimming, removing nugs, and final product pictures and macros. Always a cup each week clearly photographed with "solo" written on the cup. Some new growth popped up, so i tried to determine harvest by older growth. There's a surprising amount of amber given how the stigmata are still long and extended. ____________________________________________________________________ Last of bloom notes: 91 / 61 Days - Looks nice.. 92 / 62 Days - Okay, crossing fingers this isn’t infected. Looks fine on outside. No oddly isolated yellow sugar leaf, etc.. but saw none of that on others. Fairly certain largest contributing factor was the size of the colas lately. Even with GP, the most impacted was the fatter / shorter colas. Mentioned it a week or two ago in that diary too… Not enough circulation in middle and I was late to correct it. 93 / 63 Days - Still looks great externally. Really need this ounce of weed, lol… I’m going to be low for 2-3 months. Scoped every single top bud and multiple lower buds -- no microscopic hairs, only trichomes. 94 / 64 Days - It should look the part by the last day. 95 / 65 Days - Top bits are ripe as judged by trichomes. I’d like to see more swelling. The leaves are dying, though. Senescence despite fertile substrate - nearing end. 96 / 66 Days - Plumping quickly. Will try a harvest based on looks this time. Trichomes on outermost portions may not represent the average of the whole very well. Anything older is bound to be more mature. PM -- new growth starting to spiral out a bit. So, I may chop tomorrow. Getting mixed signals on the scope. Seems hairy, but glistening in light. Drying notes 97 / 67 / 0 Days - Chopped, trimmed and drying for 4-7 days. 98 / 67 / 1 Days - SSDD 99 / 67 / 2 Days - SSDD 100 / 67 / 3 Days - Put the popcorn buds in 16oz jar. Filled it to the brim -- +1 of the smaller top colas. Let this sweat for the day and if too soft at night, I’ll toss back into mesh rack. Still waiting on the new 55% integra 2-way packs. (62% is recommended for storage of marijuana, FYI. What I am doing may not be best but relative to my context might be for me.. feeling it out) Opened midday. Didn’t sweat much, if at all; leaving them jarred. 101 / 67 / 4 Days - Emptied jar back into mesh. Felt soft this morning. Placed larger nugs into jar with a couple smaller bits -- akin to a humidi-pack. All jarred at 5pm. Should have 2-way packs in jars by tomorrow evening. PM - weighed 39.09 grams. It still has at least 10g to lose. 102 / 67 / 5 Days - down to 35g. Lost ~10% overnight. So, still losing weight at the ~20-25% rate. Let it sweat it out a bit and repeat process. 25 8g 2-way packs arriving today. I expect another 5-6g loss or more, unless they are denser than I think. It does not fully fill a mason jar, which is typically about 1 oz at ~80% full. I like being wrong... 55% packs came today. Was ~35grams before 2-way 55% humidity pack was placed into jar. At ~6pm, the contents weighed 37.16 grams. So, it was dry. It has gained weight because it was too dry. It might be a bit higher than 37 grams, but we are calling it a day. 37 grams... not too shabby.
