This will be my first legit photoperiod plant. I grew a seedsman blueberry along side an auto once so I’m not counting that. :) I’m very excited to smoke this plant based on the reviews and effects given. I received 5 seeds for free on my first seed order. The reputation of difficult germination was true for me. Only 2 sprouted and 1 survived. The one that survived I couldn’t get under lights as quick as I should have but she bounced back the same day leading to believe that she will be a strong lass.

She grew rather rapidly seemingly over night she was tiny tiny and then boom she started working on her 3rd node. I feel like my lights are too close looking at the leaves curling. I had dropped the light from 48 to 18 inches. May be a big much for her still. She is staying short so far and not really stretching at all which is good. I also have decided to do the manifold method for this one. Looking at other grows of Liberty haze I feel it would be a good choice. Drop me a comment let me know if you see something I don’t.

Seemed that she’s needsd to be transplanted. Felt when it was on day 17. Didn’t look like any stress issues from it. Leaves are still looking curly and can’t figure out why. I don’t think it’s light issues. I am watering about 1/4 gallon i 3 Gal pot and waiting until the soil is dry to the first nuckle. Any ideas? Other than the leaf issue everything isn’t is great. I also lowered the lights down to 18” since were are officially In vegetative stage. Followed with nutrient program initiations. Look forward to hear your thoughts.

Liberty was growing strong this week. Sorry for the delayed update. No issues. Just Veggin out! The plant does smell a little bit already but not enough to flag. Mostly when ever I touch it. I am about to start the Heat battle as summer begins in New England. My AC can only do so much which isn't enough to help inside the tent. Opened all the flaps at this point. I live in a small space as well so I like to keep fan noise low so I don't run the Exhaust as high as I should. But hey we do, with what we have.

Began main line training. Shes doing really really well. Bounced back from the trim like it was nothing. She is growing vigorously and in about another week we will trim again. Then transfer to a 5 gallon after recovery again. Then flower. Would it be best to do both transfer and trim at same time? I feel in my gut doing both would be too much at once. Increased nutrient concentration this week as well and fed the mykos and azos that I mixed into the soil.

Smooth sailing so far still. No issues except heat which is somewhat out of my control considering my space and location of the grow tent. I have mainlined sucessfully at this point and have 12 bud sites that will become colas. I will be transfering to final container next week and veg for maybe 2 weeks more after recovery. My overall veg height I am shooting for is 18” before flowering. But alas. The training portion is over.

Moving right along into week 7, week 4 pure vegetation. Mid week I transplanted sucessfully but kind of sloppy. I have a large mound at the base but the plant seems to be ok with it. Liberty has been very resiliant to stresses. I lost a couple leaves that were yellowing from underwatering. It’s been very hot in the tent reaching temps as high as 92. But linerty just keeps it moving. I am currently continuing the LST portion of the manifold going so the canopy remains even. I expect that because we are in the final container from this point forward growth will become rapid as I would like more height before we flower. See you next week

She is doing really really well! I noticed some nutrient burn and flushed her almost immediatly. She sprung back super fast. This strain is very responsive to everything I have done with her. ALL The way down to the semi botched transplant. Liberty smells to the touch still. The sites are about 6” long from the mainifold. SInce i am still dealing with summer heat I will not be flowering for anoher two weeks. Very happy plant dad!

This was a truly fun week. This plant has been such a responsive joy to work with. I feel like growing with this manifold/main-line technique is like creating art. Which is great for a creative mind like myself. No issues this week. Just trainingI installed a small tomato ring to assist training the arms and support thru flowering. Learned a better way of feeding vs watering. I use to just use nutrient water every watering(which would explain why I'm always burning), I now have learned its is a good practice to feed feed water. I'm going to veg one more week for a little extra vertical growth. Temperatures this grow have been kept in control proudly. Bloom solution will begin once that occurs. Overall happy with everything. Plus our Bonsai garden fairy Kino, as a warden, has decided to join.

Easy week again. Did some adjustments via LST to keep the canopy as even as possible. A lot of growth in a short amount of time. Keno the warden has given us permission to start flowering. Light cycle has been changed as of today the 29th. We fed end of last week then light feed again on Monday. Thursday Flushed. Dried out the soil until today. Began flower feeding schedule. This has been the best growing experience for this novice. A couple things to note: I have 3 dimmer switches on my LED (Red, Blue , and White) I used mostly the White spectrum only during the last few weeks It helped keep heat down. according to this light meter app I was getting about 6k LUX on just the white light which doesn't seem to have made much of an impact on growth rate but I'm sure going full tilt I would have a bigger plant or switched to flowering sooner. However turning on Red and White spectrum for at least the first few weeks of flowering as long as heat doesn't become an issue. The color it produces is similar to that of warm yellow that is desired during flowering. Pushing 9k LUX. I measured at 16K LUX with all three on high. Please feel free to comment and offer any advice, information on light spectrum or this grow.

Early update, will add more data Sunday and end of week photos. This week has been very exciting to watch her stretch. I got a little nervous about height and the canopy was not even, so I did a little more LST to keep her low. Then Defoliated a little bit more. I know I should have maybe done the defoliation prior to light switch but she's been so responsive to me I just went for it. I'm going to leave her alone until week 3 of flower then one last defoliation and cruise control it out. Update: This plant has just been amazing. I can't wait to see the flowers. She looks like she is just getting ready to explode. No smells yet unless I touch her. Still rocking Flower nutrient solution. Pictures reflect progress from Monday to Sunday.

Intial stretch scared me and I think I stunted the growth by defoliating after light switch. We will see if that was a bad thing or not. She seems to have just carried on. End of next week one last defoliation. I also can see a mistake from the mainline training. I should have 8 tops not 12. So the shortest arms I plan to make charas from. Noticed some nutrient burn again so liberty may be more of a light feeder, although looking very managable. No pest issues. I may need to invest in a dehumidifier.

She's done Stretching. She was thirsty as hell this week.(watered every day almost.) Only water until post defoliation. She's super Healthy, Seen some leaves that were nut burned a lil. but that was my fault because she was so thirsty I kept to feed feed water. I gave her a flush from Tuesday, During this phase liberty was very active. This was my first time mainlining so on my next grow I learned a lot for better even canopy management. (NOTE: During vegetation I should have cut three of the current stalks) She still looks great. I'm sticking to my guts and saying a solid 2 oz. *Calling it* Haha! I began finishing nutrient schedule Today which is Sunday. I will be staking by end of next week after she recovers from her hair cut. Not much work left to do except staking. Thank you for watching.

Shes thirsty, watering every other day. Certainly showing early signs of trichome production on the leaves. No issues. Light nutrient burn but shes a trooper has taken all abuse and stress ive given. Sitting at 30” tall. I am waiting for plant stakes to arrive to support the final weeks and expose the lower bud sites to light. I did a clean and optimized placements of fans to create the wind tunnel effect. SUPER excited!

Stakes Showed up in the mail this afternoon. Super excited to share that: 1. I have zero training to do from here on out. 2. It looks so awesome I had to share now instead of end of week. I had to pluck a handful of fan leaves because they were covering budsites. Now that I have stakes. I can stake the plant in week 3 of flower when I do last major defoliation. Will post more at end of week Sunday. Update: moving right along. No real action this week except staking. We had so real high temps low 90s but she seems to be handling it just fine. It also appears she is eating up her own self already. I skipped a feed thinking she was nut burning. So I Dont think thats the case considering she got more water than nutrients this week. She is focused on trichome production at the moment so bud development appears slowed but frost is increasing. I have included pics of each of the 12 heads

Had some watering issues this week, I wasnt able to get to liberty in time before she showed signs of dehydration. But she has sprung back both times. Which also likely explains the leaf issues you can see in the pictures. Still looking good. Not fattening up as much as I Thought she would this weekbut maybe next week. Aprox 6 more weeks. To go

Few days early on my post but I couldnt hold it in. She is in weight gain phase for sure. Battled heat and where I messed up was leaving my light on full tilt. Doesnt appear to really have affected yeild too much. Liberty is definatley a resilient plant. I Ma be shouldnt have but I did because it bothered me. I took some time to snip all burnt tips and browned leaves. Now That shes cleaned up she just looks so much happier. Projected Harvest in 30 days/4 weeks.

Flowers are atarting to take more of their shape. Looking a bit small but plentiful. Couple high heat days nothing crazy. Light is too close tonthe tope unfortunatleyso shes burning a bit. I can do too much about that. This is the first time i have used this light so lesson learned for training the canopy next run. She doesnt smell like much unless I mess with her. Did a tric check. Anout 90% cloudy now. Inleave for my 5 year anniversay mid october so she has to come down then and dry while we are gone. For a few days. Let me know your thoughts. Hi @Jodas! It looks like this plant is suffering from light burn and nutrients toxicity, I don't think transplanting would help at this stage, in fact this could be counter-productive and may generate another stress. I do believe that these buds are the results of multiple mistakes in the previous weeks (big stretch, overfeeding, bad light<-->plant distance...). We all learn by failure, I'm confident your next run will be successful. Until then, patience is the key, keep us up-to-date and enjoy your harvest 👊

Bud size is a product of the amount of light. A bigger pot will not give you bigger flowers. More training will help you with that, a shorter plant with a flat canopy

Hi @Jodas I can tell you this is more a nutrient burn problem than lite. Mine had an extrem to much light problem, I ended with apical chlorosis, it turned white due to too much and close light but I didn't had buds like yours. I am pretty confident to say, this is nutrient problem.

The hoghest buds arent looking good at all. Light burn is serious. I cant really do much of anything about it. I have power control of my light and I have reduced power but isnt helping that much. Shame because its been a great grow. Still produced some pretty nugs down lower but yeild has suffered greatly. Smells amazing and is very sticky. Ive gradually cut the nutrients and now on to just water. I Am considering giving it an actual flush but I dont really see a need considering it has time to eat up everything but mid october because thats when she must come down.

Veg was awesome no real issues. She was a tuff plant. Flowering she was super sensitive but bounced back. The faster you respond to issues the faster she would bounce back. I have a scissor hash ball in a small jar to taste. I have been out of town so had to wait. Will update after final cure.
