Planted autos in a much larger pot 7/11. Realized I did not have space. Moved 7/14 to 1-gallon pots. They did not go into shock thankfully. I do realize smaller pots won't yield as much but I have no choice right now. I don't expect much from a first grow anyway. Fingers crossed though
We have a heatwave here they looked a bit hot, I moved the light up a bit and put another fan in there to keep it about 76-78. Reached 81 in there today 7/19. Sprayed lightly around the topsoil and tent walls for more humidity for now.
Any suggestions please feel free to message or comment!
I accidentally somehow made a small rip in plant 2 after the picture but I think it will be fine. It was on the larger bottom leaves.
My Bio Bizz nutrients are arriving tomorrow so I can soon introduce those to the plants as directed.
7/28 - Gave then a first through feeding will
little runoff. Using Bio Bizz nutrients. I actually went a little under the recommended feeding schedule to avoid burning them. Since I’m a noob and this is my first grow I’m just trying to see how they are reacting to this without going overboard. I also waited until the pots were very light to water since I am paranoid about overwatering. I check them hourly.
I do have another photoperiod plant in there not documented here, it was showing a bottom slight yellowish leaf so seemed it was time to introduce the feeding schedule.
I should prob LST but honesty I am a bit intimidated the first grow I just want these to make it though
7/30 - Raised the light a bit. Seemed a bit close saw some possible light bleaching on the lower leaves. It was about time anyway since they are taller now.
7/31 - Confirmed I have some Thrips, you can see the damage on the bottom leaves on Plant 1 and I've seen 3 of them. It's been recommended I can use Neem Oil or Dr. Bonners Soap to fix the issue. I'm going the soap route. It's advised 3/4 water 1/4 soap for the solution in case anyone is curious. Plants don't need feeding for at least another day or 2 more the pots still have some weight to them.
8/1 - Going to spray the pants with a recommend of soap and water mixture Dr. Bronner soap
8/2 - I could not find any bugs when I sprayed but I did spray the suspect leaves anyway. When I would see a bug it was seldom so no infestation yet it seems? They got fed today they looked extremely happy about an hour after.
8/3 - I got a microscope cam to check the leaves and the buds later on. I didn’t really see any bugs on the leaves but gave the plant a good spray. I haven’t really seen any bugs last 2 days. But still watching.
8/6 - I don't see a bug issue so perhaps I got them? I also took note that I am underwatering at this point so will have to move that to every 3 days the pots seem to dry up now. I watered today. Plant 2 looks a bit droopy but will prob bounce back after watering.
8/6 they bounced back. Plant 2 looks like its working on a possible mag deficiency? I'll add a little more to the feeding tomorrow. Ph is 6.5 I have a meter to check. I also moved the light up a bit seemed a bit warm close to the top of the plants it's now 21" from the plants
8/14 Upgraded to Mars Hydro TS1000 today. Plants look like they may have a slight nutrient burn. Next watering will cut it by .50, it's not severe at this point
8/16 - Feed today. They are starting to really produce buds now. This is the beginning of week 6
8/19 - Watered again all the plants took about a gallon and a half with my other projects in there. Removed couple dead fan leaves on the bottom. one of the plants still looks like it needed more cal mag so I upped it a little bit.
Still showing very slight evidence of nute burn but not progressing at this point.
8/20 - Took out to clean the tent a bit. Week 7 starts 8/22
8/24 - Nothing new to report other than the buds are fattening up a bit. Start of week 7 was 8/22.
8/25 - Watered they are thirty about every 2 days now. Nearing the home stretch!
8/29 - Things are looking ok. Figure about 2 weeks tops these will be ready. Next few waterings will be a flush.
Clipped a bud some trichomes are milky very few amber ones. But it seems we are not that far away.
Some buds on the bottom can use more time so when it’s time I’ll just harvest the top ones and let the lower levels mature more.
Plant 3 that sometimes makes an appearance is doing quite well too. Little to close to the lamp I can’t move it higher but not bleaching or anything as of yet.
9/9 - Started flushing this week. I'll likely chop the main colas in the next week or 2. I don't want too many amber trichomes as that's not the effect I'm looking for. It's about 50% milky trichomes now. If someone could help advise Id greatly appreciate it. Day 66 from planting. My first grow.
