I decided to add two more plants to my grow tent, first three plants are about 5 weeks ahead of the new plants.
Some things I've done differently this grow already are I added 1 part perlite per fabric pot, as I think the other three didn't have adequate amount in the promix soil I used. I also made sure to fill the pot as much as I could without it spilling out of the grommets. Last time I was worried about stretching and didn't fill it up nearly enough. Also, I am going to try and keep a lower ph level around 6.2 as opposed to 6.5 which is what I started at in my last grow.
Excited to see the difference in these plants as I have read barney's farm has some great genetics.
Don't mind the droopiness of the older 3, today was their watering day and they just got watered before the pic was taken.
Day - 4 both have sprouted.
Day 6 (after sprout) - decided to do a little update before the start of the second week. Plants are looking great, it's been very hot here (34°C and really low humidity) my humidifier is a 1 gallon reservoir has to be filled once every 24 hours.
More of a heat wave this week, no issues with these girls though very resilient so far. They taking about 250 ml of water (between both of them) every day.
Plants got their first dose of nutrients this week (day 19). Went to go check on my plants this morning when I got home from night shift and the Purple Punch is already showing her pistils.I feel it's really early to be entering flower, seems kind of small but this is only my second grow with autos so what do I know. No pistils yet from the LSD but she's looking healthy so I'm happy.
Started LST this week, seem to be responding well. They had two feedings of nutrients this week. During week 5 going to try giving them a bit of a higher concentration and slowly switch to feed, water, feed schedule probably closer to week 6 or 7. All the photos are from 28 days old, lots of the lower nodes are starting to break their way out to the canopy. Today the LSD started showing her hairs, PP is about a week ahead into preflower.
