***** Germination - July 11 to 19/20 and Week 1 started on July 20/20 ***** Hey Growmies......here we go again with another auto run!!! Fast Buds Lemon AK should be an exciting grow and thinking about comparing the differencing in growing in 3 gal pots. I am going to compare an old fashion plastic pot, fabric pot (bag), and an air pot (all the holes on the sides). All are 3 gal Pots, the girls are all the same strain, will be fed the same, and will be in the same environment. Lots of positive comments about air pots so I want to give them a try. For fun......we will see what the heck the difference on this run using the three different containers😃👍 Started on this journey thinking there would be two phenos but right now there is three😃 Not sure still of the viability of LAK2 so we will see if she pulls through this stage or if she has other issues and its just a matter of time🧐🧐🧐 So, on to the grow......Microbial Mass is a new addition to the grow and pretty excited about it. Switching from AN line as it has been getting so pricy. This line is cannabis focussed in the microbe selection and has been seeing great results in rapid root growth and rigidity. A lot more cost effective as well!! Otherwise will be running base nutrients of Green Planet.....I think.....things change😃 Usual coco selection as well for consistency.......plus Royal Gold line is awesome😃 Dynomyco used for Microryza in the coco. Sprinkled into he holes before setting the root in. 100ml watering with Microbial Mass and Vitathrive.......that will be it for roughly a week, just plain RO water for first week......then since using RO water will introduce CalMag to the watering. Another dose of Microbes and will add a little sweetener to feed them in week 2 as well. I expect these girls to run a full 10 weeks and likely come down before day 77. This should get the diary up and running for now....... ******Germination dates: LAK1: July 11 - water July 14 - paper towel (yeah long time to crack) July 16 - into coco July 18 - up from the coco LAK2: (She cracked. Looking inside though is odd) July 11 - water July 14 - paper towel (Yeah long time to crack) July 17 - into solo July 20 - Up from the coco (She is slow though) LAK3 July 19 into rooter July 21 cut out from rooter planted into solo July 23 up from the coco That puts LAK2 roughly 2 days behind LAK1 and LAK3 is roughly 5 days behind LAK1......not much we can do👍 The girls have only been misted so far with plain RO water and the coco was buffered with Microbial Mass, Vitrathrive (Vitamin B), Velokelp. The girls have not been feed nor watered directly so far. ******First Week: July 20 to 24/20 - Days 1 to 5 - only misting with plain RO water if anything given on these days. July 25/20 - Day 6 - LAK1 ONLY - 500ml - Microbes @ 2ml, Liquid Weight & Vitathrive & Velokelp @ 1ml = 250ppm & 5.2pH - this was watered around the girl to keep coco moist......it has been 7 days since the pot was watered......and she is growing well. - others girls not ready for anything today. - LAK1 doing very well and growing as expected. - LAK2 has issues and LAK3 is really only 2/3 days old today. July 26/20 - Day 7 - all the pots are getting moistened today with microbes, vitamin B, kelp and introduce some CalMag as I didn’t add when I buffered the coco. Damn.... - Mixed 6L - VeloKellp, Sensi CalMag, Vitathrive, Microbial, L. Wt. @ 1ml = 400ppm & 5.4pH - LAK1 and LAK2 both give 2L watering very slowly. - LAK3 only given 1L......medium is getting dry just becuase the days are passing and she is small so not very much. This is probably even too much🤞 Interesting first week in the sense that we are not off to the start I was expecting for this run. #1 is doing as expected and growing well. #2 has some genetic issues that cause her to start slow......don’t even really know if she will grow out of it.......she is in my fabric pot though so I really want to help her along. Will not make for a great comparison if the girls are not similar in growth pattern. #3is going to be a challenge for the first three weeks. She is pretty close to a week behind the other two. Tough in that situation for veg lighting, and feeding plans to force yourself to treat her differently from the others that are older. (You want to just say F...it and give them all the same feed, usually matching the older girl wanting more........that’s when troubles start👍😃) There we go....Fast Buds Lemon AK on the go.......time frame will hopefully see harvest around first or second week of October😃

*******Week 2 July 27 to Aug 2/20 - Days 8 to 14 since germination. The girls were given feedings on 4 days this week. They were misted everyday otherwise, they are not showing any signs of lacking nutrition. Leaf colour is good, too possibly a little light, and they are doing well in that respect. Not pushing it and will keep focusing on the root development. Pheno 2 is having some issues that she has not grown out of yet. Hopeful that she still will. She has been odd right from when she cracked in the seed. Timing didn’t work out to pop another seed so just running with this one. Will see what the next couple of weeks bring and maybe she won’t make it still. Pheno 3 is slow and is also showing signs of some possible issues. She is almost a week behind the other two Lemon AK girls. Pheno 1, LAK1, has been the solid girl and growing very well. She is popping out new sets of leaves and her stem is getting thicker. Settled the lighting in at 24” off canopy by the end of the week and working towards stronger more regular feedings now. Not a lot of comments really. No training or any other interesting tasks yet. This strain’s girls are progressing and growing but all are at different stages......it will be very noticeable for a few weeks, the difference in growth, and then the difference will be less noticeable soon......keep environment dialled in so we don’t stunt the girls but otherwise, its boring this week😂😂 Little more detail: July 27/20 - Day 8 - Feed: B52 at 1ml = 225ppm and 5.8pH. - Amounts given were LAK1 - 1,000ml, LAK2 - 750ml, LAK3 - 250ml - didn’t adjust the pH as it was 5.9. Added the microbes and it dropped to 5.8. No pH adjuster added.....nice for the microbes! - Increased light intensity today by turning on the second light. - LAK1 is wanting more light now. - environment averaging 77 degrees and 65% humidity. July 28/20 - Day 9 - Dry out day. - LAK1 - is tall and her third set of leaves are out now. - LAK2 - way too squat. There are issues here! Keep going for now and hope she grows out of it in the next week or two. - LAK3 - show some small tip burn????? Thinking I may have added the B52 to the water twice at the end of last week. July 29/20 - Day 10 - 500ml Feed with B52 @ 2ml = 185ppm and 5.5pH - Not a lot of change today from yesterday. - Lighting at 24” now. July 30/20 - Day 11 - Dry out day. - all are showing some small signs of leaf tip burn now......damn! - been pushing the B52 the last couple to work on providing some strength for her main stem. July 31/20 - Day 12 - 1L feed given with Microbes @ 2ml, Vitathrive @ 1ml, Dual Fuel, VeloKelp, Liquid Weight @ 0.5ml - 355ppm and 5.5pH. - LAK1 and LAK2 were fed 1L each........but LAK3 was NOT given anything!!! - the feed was 280ppm before adding the microbes so I don’t feel its overly strong. - raised the light 2” off the canopy....LAK1 looking a littler more perky today. Aug 1/20 - Day 13 - Dry out day. - LAK1 has side branches popping out now. She is looking very good for the most part!! - LAK2 is happy today and you can see her starting to lift off of herself and get taller!!!!! Still has the on large leaf on one side of her :) - LAK3 very narrow and small leaves on her right now. She is certainly not on fire right now with her growth!!! She is growing but too slow.....see what next week brings for her. - still surprised a bit at the tip burn from the B52......didn’t think it was too much!!!!! Did I accidentally add the nutrients twice to the water???? Aug 2/20 - Day 14 - Had some feed water left over some other girls so added a little to all of these girls pot as well - 250ml - Microbes @ 2ml, Dual Fuel & Vitathrive & Liquid Weight & B52 @ 0.5ml - worked out to 320ppm and 5.6pH That will wrap up week 2..........we have a real variety in growth and where we stand at the end of 14 days, 12 day, and 9 days respectively for the three phenos☹️☹️☹️ Unfortunate that they are not all strong out of the gate and have to really stay on top of things so they not slowed down in veg......damn autos😂👍

****Week 3 - August 3 to 9, 2020 - Days 15 to 21 from germination These girls had a solid week and grew bigger but they didn’t exactly set things on fire either😃 LAK3 running almost a week behind LAK1 Is still the small girl of the group. LAK2 is getting wider but not as tall as she should be though. The intent on this auto run was to do a comparison on yields based on pot style but its not going as positive as it could😃👍 They are growing too differently and one of the girls has more issues going on genetically. It’s turning out to be a run of just keeping the autos happy through veg so I don’t lose too many days before flower. Introduced more CalMag to the feed this week. Used the AN product at the start of the week as the N value is 4% compared the GH is use which is 1% for N. They were fed three times this week in different combinations of nutrients. They were hit with a little higher feed than intended but I ran with it. They have been fed very lightly and it is showing in LAK3.....she is needing some more nitrogen. Continued with microbes as well for the roots and added in some fungi as well through Piranha.......help hold some feed in the medium👍 We have horizontal movement.......need to get some vertical movement going now😂 Little more detail: Aug 4/20 - Day 16 - 1L feed with Sensi CalMag, Vitathrive, Dual Fuel - 725ppm and 5.8pH. - Little higher ppm than I wanted but running with it. - Increased fresh air intake as they were a little droopy. Aug 6/20 - Day 18 - 500ml feed with Microbial Mass and Liquid Weight. - 110ppm and 5.3pH. - Missed the pH a bit not chasing it. Microbes added after adjusting. - focus was to get the microbes in with some sweetener and a low ppm. - LAK1 working on her 5th set of leaves - LAK2 reaching the edges of the pot - LAK3 pushing out her 3rd set of leaves - girls looking a little greener now as well. Aug 8/20 - Day 20 - LAK1 - 1L feed - Dual Fuel @ 1ml, Vitathrive, Velokelp, CalMag = 720ppm and 5.8pH - LAK2 and LAK3 - 1L feed - Dual Fuel @ 0.5ml, Vitathrive, Velokelp, CalMag, Piranha = 385ppm and 5.8pH - hit LAK1 harder with feed as she is moving faster than the other girls. - LAK2 working on new nodes but the spacing is too tight.....not normal too tight☹️ - LAK3 new growth looking better. So that wraps up the days surrounding week 3 for these fairly different Lemon AK girls. I often comment on keeping a grow interesting but these girls are doing it on their own without my help😃 Have a great week Growmies!!!

****Week 4 - Aug 10 to 16, 2020 - Days 22 to 28 from germination****** This week has been positive and negative with respect to growth size this week from the girls🤪🤪 They were fed on four different days this week. With them being autos I have been trying to keep their feedings light this run. May have it a little too light but time will tell. Too much feed anD they will stunt their growth so been keeping that in mind. Verified LAK1 runoff numbers on day 24 and it was 585ppm with 7.0pH. Starting to see some drift on the pH. Keep the feed pH in the 5.8 range and not higher, water at a lower pH as well going forward. They appear to have reacted well to the CalMag only feeding with 5.2pH feeding on day 27. LAK2 is a funny girl and has been ever since she cracked her seed in germination. I should have just discarded her but now I am taking it as a challenge to get her to come out of this funk. Don’t care about the yield from this girl, it will be poor, as I am more interested in what happens to her as she goes through transition and her stretch.....will she shoot up finally? Started to add Silica to all the girls this week and will see if that helps with her stretch and stem strengthening🤞Stripped off 4 of her larges fan leaves mid week to allow access to lower growth. She has no problems growing fan leaves😃 LAK3 was looking a little poor and small overall the first half of the week. Removed some lower fan leaves and supported her main stem a little better and she was looking pretty good by the end of the week😃 Just staying patient with her not trying to “correct” too many things. Little more detail: Aug 10/20 - Day 22 - 1.5L feed - Vitathrive, VeloKelp @ 2ml, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml, CalMag and Piranha @ 1ml - 925ppm and 5.9pH - - full strength feeding today to help build up the mediums. Aug 12/20 - Day 24 - 2L feed - RhinoSkin and Microbes @ 1.5ml, Vitathrive, Dual Fuel, CalMag @ 1ml - 700ppm and 5.8pH - checked run off numbers today on LAK1, 585ppm and 7.0pH. Good with ppm but want the pH lower. Aug 15/20 - Day 27 - 2L feed - CalMag @ 1ml - 285ppm and 5.2pH - left them to dry out for a couple of days and then hit them with a lower pH watering. - see how they reacts to this in the next days. Aug 16/20 - Day 28 - 2L feed - Rhino, CalMag, Vitathrive, Liquid Weight @ 1ml, Dual Fuel, VeloKelp @ 1.5ml - 925ppm and 5.6pH - They have reacted well to drying out and the lower pH CalMag feed yesterday. - Since pots were so dry the other day I fed them again today That wraps up week 4 for the girls. They have been growing and keeping things interesting this week. They are continuing to advance and grow but not sure what to expect from LAK2 right now?? LAK1 is rocking it and is the strong pheno of the three. LAK3 is taking her time but suspect she will come along and will just be a smaller girl😃 Sorry for the delay on the updates last two weeks......finishing up summer holidays and trying to enjoy the last days of summer in my neck of the woods 👍☹️ Have a great week peeps and hope you are finding yourselves outside and getting some sun😃

****Week 5 - Aug 17 to 23, 2020 - Days 29 to 35 from germination****** This week was a heavy leaf strip of the girls and LST on LAK1 to open her up. I didn’t train the other girls because they are too small or too bushy and the hell with it.....I will wait a little longer on the two smaller girls and see what happens later in flower. At this point I am not feeling the pot designs are make as much of a difference on the girls growth as genetics are unfortunately. I think I will have to leave my experiment for another run using photos and cut some clones for a proper comparison of the three pots. All is good.......plants from seed are unpredictable. They were all fed a little different this week. LAK1 was fed 4 times and the other girls three times. Sensizym (enzymes), Massive (pk boost), Rezin (trichome enhancer) were added to the feed schedule this week. Little more detail: Aug 17/20 - Day 29 - LAK1 given 600ml of feed from the photo tent - LAK1 main stem is getting pretty stiff and its time to bend her over. Aug 19/20 - Day 31 - LAK1 feed - 3L - microbes @ 2ml, CalMag @ 1ml = ppm and pH - 200ppm and 5.8pH Aug 20/20 - Day 32 - LAK2 - 1.5L Dual Fuel, Vitathrive, Microbes @ 1.0 ml/L, Liquid Weight @ 0.5ml - 200ppm and 5.8pH Aug 21/20 - Day 33 - LAK1 only 2L - Dual Fuel @ 2ml/L, Massive @ 3ml, Liquid Wt @ 0.5ml, Microbes @ 2ml - 1100ppm and 5.7pH Aug 23/20 - Day 35 - 2L - Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml, CalMag & Sensizym & Rezin & Liquid Weight @ 1ml - 875ppm and 5.8pH - feed for LAK3 only had and additional 2ml/L of Microbial Mass added to her watering - That wraps up week 5 and what I am calling the first flower week. LAK2 and 3 are not there but LAK1 is and I am following her time-line on this diary......could have possibly called last week a flower week but it was more transition towards the end of week 4. Spent a little more time in the photoperiod tent and the autos suffered a little.😢 Still lots of updating to do and working on it😃 Have a great week Growmies🙏

**Week 8 - September 7 to 13, 2020 - Days 50 to 56 from germination****** Getting closer tho the finish line and it was a good week. Pushing them harder now for feeding as there aren’t many feed days left. Trying not to pull the feed too early this run as I want to give these girls every chance they can get to fatten up. Been an interesting run🤪 Suspect I am looking at 11 weeks on these girls........they may ripen sooner though.......so will likely feed through week 9 and think I might use Flawless Finish this run as they will all finish at different times and it may happen more suddenly than expected. This strain has a fair bit of Sativa in it and I see it in the narrow blade fan leaves and the time she has taken to start swelling. Trichome production is a little slow but starting now. The next two weeks I expect to be the fun ones and will see how these phenos do with ripening. Kept the feedings light and watering a little too light I think this run. Should have got a little more CalMag in them and also increased the waterings to runoff. In the earlier weeks I was holding back on the watering wanting to help avoid too much nitrogen going into bloom. They needed to be up to two and three litre daily feedings sooner than week 7 for example, coco coir😃 This caused some deficiency in mid flower. Learning experience here was to keep up the watering volumes, because of pure coco, but reduce the ppm if needed.......I reduced both☹️ There are three girls that are going to make it to harvest and obviously LAK1 is going to yield well and the others will be less........keep them happy to the end because quantity doesn’t matter as much as quality😃 Next auto girls are not going to face the same issues👍 Little more detail: Sept 7/20 - Day 50 - Terpinator @ 3ml, Big Bud & Liquid Weight & Rezin & CalMag @ 1.5ml - 565ppm and 5.8pH - LAK1 - 2.5L, LAK2 and LAK3 - 1.5L - Sept 8/20 - Day 51 - LAK1 ONLY - 3L - CalMag @ 2ml/L, Vitathrive @ 1.5ml, Dual Fuel @ 1ml/L - 775ppm and 5.8pH - The other girls were on a dry out day. - Sept 9/20 - Day 52 - Plain water only today - LAK1 - 3L, LAK2 - 1.5L, LAK3 - 1.5L - Sept 10/20 - Day 53 - Overdrive @ 2ml, Rezin @ 2ml, Dual Fuel @ 1ml - 650ppm and 5.9pH - LAK1 - 2.5L, LAK2 - 1L, LAK3 - 1L - Sept 12/20 - Day 55 - Terpinator @3ml, Overdrive, Enzymes K., Rezin, Liquid Weight, CalMag @ 1.5ml, Dual Fuel @ 1ml - 1110ppm and 5.9pH - LAK1 - 4L, LAK2 - 3L, LAK3 - 4L - Heavy watering for all the girls. Sept 13/20 - Day 56 - Terpinator @3ml, Overdrive, Rezin, Liquid Weight, Vita, CalMag, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml - 1125ppm and 5.8pH - 3L for LAK1, 2L for each of the other girls......lots of runoff from all......they were still wet. (I have been working on cleaning up some bottles from different nutrient lines😃........certainly not giving everything listed in a single feeding) Getting caught up on the missing weeks in backwards fashion :) Wanted to keep up with the current week. Get the two missing weeks in here soon.

*****Week 9 - September 14 to 20, 2020 - Days 57 to 63 from germination****** They were feeding well this week and took the higher more consistent amount of nutes well this week. Had to make a decision at the end of the week and I took out the small full spectrum light to put in the photo tent. They are in flower now and I held off as long as I can. These girls are closer to the end and I will keep the intensity focussed on LAK3 and GSC and let the other two live in the shadows and ripen😎 Not my first choice but everything is a trade off in life unfortunately☹️ Not an issue outdoor growers deal with👍 Little more detail: Sept 14/20 - Day 57 - Massive @ 3ml, Terpinator @ 2ml, Vitathrive & Liquid Weight & Rezin & Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml - 1,000ppm and 5.8pH - Feed for only LAK1......other girls area going to dry out another night. Sept 15/20 - Day 58 - Overdrive & Rezin @ 2ml, Liquid Weight & Vitathrive @ 1.5ml, Dual Fuel @ 1ml - 650ppm and 5.6pH - 2L given to each girl Sept 17/20 - Day 60 - Overdrive & Rezin @ 1.5ml - 200ppm and 5.3pH - 2L each given to the girls. - Just a bit to help with swelling. Sept 18/20 - Day 61 - Massive @ 3ml, Terpinator @ 2ml, Vitathrive & Liquid Weight & Rezin & Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml - 1165ppm and 5.2pH - LAK1 - 4L, LAK2 - 2.5L, LAK3 - 3L Sept 20/20 - Day 63 - Terpinator @ 3ml, Overdrive @ 2ml, Sensyzime & Vitathrive & Liquid Weight & Rezin & Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml - 1045ppm and 5.3pH Wrapping up week 9 and heading into week 10........the days ahead are going to be the guessing ones......is she done yet???? To be honest I have not even looked close at trichome yet🧐 I fully expect to see day 74 with LAK1.......not sure LAK2 will make it that long???? LAK3 will still be a couple of weeks yet but she is roughly a week younger. Cheers Growmies and have a great week ahead🙏😃😃😃
