Root came out of stone wool by approx 2cm before moving into Waterfarm.
I am not very comfortable with current light setup. I will leave flood light for vegetation as it is for this run but will try to organize some better equip befor flower.
Current cooling also needs improvement - I try to do it step by step.
Day 4 - Got an accident, not sure if she survives it. I will keep watching her but probably will update less frequently in next days.
Day 7 - Alright, looks like she will survive that but she looks very week because of stress I gave her in first days...
Currently I only got 2 x 50W / 5000K flood lights for veg and approx 150W / 2700K later for flowering. Both LED. Planning to keep lights close to plant - 35-45cm.
Do you think its going to be sufficient or should I get professional lights asap?
Dude I use led bulbs and they work great. The issue you have in your setup is that your light is more appropriate for a 2x2 tent (60cm x 60cm). Keep in mind that for veg you need 25 to 30 watts per sq ft at least and for bloom 30 to 40 watts per sq ft. IF you really want to take advantage of your DS 90 tent, you need like 250 watts for veg and 350 watts to 500 watts for bloom (I'm giving you rough numbers)
Hi all! I am using Waterfarm from GHE and I have set it up so the pump goes on and off at same time with the lights.
Is this timing OK or is it better to just run the pump 24/7?
I have no experience in hydroponic yet.
That is a drip system. In my experience, they're meant to run continuously. It's run by a simple air pump so running it 24hrs a day isn't going to use much electricity. Don't turn it off.
Alright, I moved her into Homebox Q60+ now and provided some professional light Q3W from Sanlight with 120W full spectrum range. This setup is much better for the plant compared to my setup in 1st week. Now it is also much easier for me to keep stable humidity and temperature.
Day 9 - Looks like she recovers from stress I gave her in 1st week. Stem looks quite thin to me - but since I have no experience I can't be sure if it is abnormal for this age or not.
Grow looks good.
I will compile only full week videos now. Video be provided by end of week. End of week in this diary is Tue - video expected by Wed.
Say 19: first stigmas, I think
Day 22: approx. 5-7 roots 10-20cm long are coming out of inner pot.
Day 25: Alright, I got another big accident. I guess lowest link of stem was damaged from my burn attack in 1st week. So it broke by weight of the plant - not bend but really broke with only a small part connecting roots with higher stem links remaining. I added substrate covering the broken area and gave a support to bring her back in vertical position. I am so sorry for this plant - considering the 1st week I have as good as killed her 2 times already. I will watch her, providing most possible comfort I can give, for couple of days. Lets hope she manage to solve this issue as well.
Added air stone pump into waterfarm outer pot.
Removed 4-5 damaged/burned lower leaves.
Day 28: lights timer locked and didn't switch off for night time. I noticed that only during following night.
Otherwise everything is fine, seems like she recovers well. A real pleasure to watch this beauty grow :)
Will provide remaining pics & video for this week approx on Tue or Wed.
We had a small issue with tilted stem in this week and got it fixed by day 34. Also trimmed/removed 4-5 old leaves.
Apart from that all cool - a nice bushy body she got.
Will switch her food to flowering dosage for next week. Have to start to switch solution by draining old water from the pipe - plant and her roots got to big for pot jockey games...
Day 40:
She gained 20cm of height last 5 days. Canopy fills around 95% of 0.36m² of the tent.
Lower stem is getting woodier. Older stigmas started to dry out.
I have to refill 5l of fresh nutes water every 2-3rd day - she drinks approx 1.5l/day, amazing.
Nice smell inside the tent, active carbon filter doing its job good.
Day 42:
She gained another 4cm of height in last 2 days. Compared with speed in previous 5 days - she is slowing down veg grow now.
Day 47:
Gained over 15cm, crazy. Slower then last week but still - tent is getting a bit too tight.
Started to deleaf and lollipop her (@THERAMBLNMAN, cheers bro!). Done in last 3 days in more or less short sessions. No idea if I did everything correct, any suggestion or comment from you guys is very welcome here.
Removed fulvic acid from her diet in this week. She keeps drinking as much as last week.

3cm in last 2 days.
Day 53:
Little beauty got too big for my 60x60/2x2 homebox. I have relocated her in 90x90/3x3 Secret Jardin. Added 2nd lamp. Seems like she likes new space.
Almost forgot - I also changed light schedule to 20/4.
Day 56:
She definitely loves new tent! I guess as well as double amount of light. Started to fill up trichomas - you can see the small mushrooms when you view original image size.
Kept drinking as much as last week till yesterday. Last 2 days drinks approx 2l of fresh refill per day.
Looks like wild girl is turning into powerful lady :)

Found 2-3 fungus gnats in growbox. Growing Hydro. Have/know no adequate product against them. Installed sticky papers but of what I read on net - it doesn't help (larvas).
Your suggestion please! I have good range of products to choose from, would appreciate your recommendation!
Simply spray pyrethrum over the soil of your plants or on the roots if you are growing hydroponically. This treatment should be repeated about twice a week for 3-6 weeks to ensure all the hatched larvae have been killed. I have to refill solution at least 2l/morning and 2l/evening every day. OK, healthy appetite.
I think I let her flowering for some more time before start to ripen.

Ah, sticky trap and pyrethrum seems to work against gnats here, at least I didn't see any new fliers in last days.
Getting fat and juicy, I love it!
Grow speed and hunger are same as last week.
White tops are very bright and very slow. New leafs from main cola's top have a white stripe in the middle. They are really small now - will take a better picture of it later, if not disappeared.
Checked trichomas - still a lot of clear bubbles. Will continue to feed regular flower nutes at least till more then half of them get milky.
Removed some leafs, saying she is sticky doesn't mean saying much.

Hi all,
new leaves on top of highest colas shoot out completely albino white with small green dots.
Later they become green, still with a white stripe/spots in the middle of leaf.
What could it be, how do I read it? Thanks in advance and happy grow!
Smells and looks like in a snowy pine forest inside grow box. Doesn't feel like winter there, I am trying to keep temp. by +27C°.
We had bleaching issue in last week, solved it by lifting lamps till min 30cm distance to most of side colas - thanks everyone for your tips! Will lift more hanging the lamps directly on hooks, it seems the beast likes bigger distance.
She lost one cm of height cause she is bending backwards, will try to balance it out with weight of front colas. She is exactly 1 meter high now.
There are dew drops of amber resin on some of bleached leaves. Will take them under micro when they grown bigger.
Removed most of burned leaves.
Experimented with her diet by adding Ripen into Flower nutes for refills, seems she likes it. Will start to feed her with 50% Flower & 50% Ripen solution in next week.

Discovered 3 spots of mold yesterday, had to remove one white cap cola, a good half of another cola (look at last picture) and a fat chunk of the 3rd cola. Maybe I could save a top of the white cola but the infected stem looked so bad - I decided to remove the whole thing. Sad? - No, rather happy there were only 3 of them affected.
I keep watching on it, removing more leaves - there is a lot of them. New dehumidifier helps to hold humidity under 70%. Let's hope she can handle it under this conditions.
Lot of trichomas still look crystal clear, maybe most of them. First amber appear. We are getting closer but I guess she need more weeks to fully ripen.
Looks like she stopped grow higher but drinks similar amounts.
Cones look fat and beautiful and check out the albinos!

Hi all!
I had to remove the top of damaged cola couple of days after I saved it last week AND a chunk from the back of main cola because of molded spots. Now I was sad.
I see no new spots which is cool. Installed a second dehumi, have now a stable humidity under 65%.
There are still more then half of empty trichomas but I decided to switch to rippen diet already. She seems to be OK with that.
Albinos are sugar sweet, magic, I love it!

some of higher green leaves are turning red. She has albino buds but only green leaves get this. It looks like pink pigments on leaf surface if you zoom in pictures and also under microscope. Doesn't look sick to me but what is it?

That is led light bleaching...no good for the plant. Basically the chlorophyll is all gone from the tops and they'll turn rock hard and become unusable. Looks pretty but is bad. Look up weed tops bleaching in Google for what to do 👍👊
Beginning of this week we lost another small cola due to mold. It was back behind, looked rather like older spot which I have missed earlier.
Both dehumis gathered 400ml in 2 days, makes 100ml/day/dehumi, both running 24/7. Humidity in tent is by 58-62% now. Installed 2nd airflow vent, all I can currently do to reduce mold damage.
She is getting purple red leaves on highest spots exposed to light, seems like my lamps are too strong. Thinking about getting dimmers for them.
Stem of main cola couldn't recover from mold damage (probably impossible) and the top of it started to dry. Was a hard decision to cut it but I think it is the right one, 5cm gone. Oh well Yolandi, you are the first. No worries, she keep looking sexy. Got 20g of wet material, will update on it when ready.

Fed remaining of Ripen solution and started to flush. It looks like she likes it.
Top flowers are getting some purple color.
Piney scent is moving in background. It smells more like a sugar sweet sour tropical candy inside the tent, yum.

I continued to flush her for couple of days. Checked trichomas - top albinos had approx. 40% amber and lowest flowers still had 10-20% of empty. I decided to give her 24h of dark desert and cut her next morning.
Left her hanging as whole plant upside down one day. Removed some of side colas from main plant and hung in separate tent. Had to run my AC daytimes and both dehumies 24/7 at first to keep humidity under 62%. After couple of days could keep stable 48% only with dehumies.
Sugar leaf trimming, two weeks daily! Yes, yes, very meditative activity...
Discovered and removed some new molded spots, probably catch them in first days of drying. Not much but hurts.
The wet weight mentioned above represents "wet" weight of colas after one week of hanging. No idea how heavy was the whole bush right after I cut it.
Almost 15g of white buds. I leave them cure for all 3 months before testing. I don't expect to much difference - OK, no chlorophyll, other pigments maybe it will be a bit smoother, let's see.
