Does anyone have some sage advice on how to keep humidity down? Today we had 36c outside temps and humidity in my tent hit 85%.. Firstly is this an issue? I normally have a reading of 50-60% but I can't lower it today. Second, how can I lower it.

Well the easiest method is to get a dehumidifier. Don't waste money on a small, cheap one, they dont work well. Other things you can do is increase airflow in your grow space. For a tent, an inline duct fan is key. Otherwise, you can add a couple oscillating fans to the area. This won't bring down the RH, but the high airflow helps at warding off molds and mildews. Last option is to defoliate. Defoliate the bushiest part of the plant. This will decrease her perspiration so helps with RH. It also opens up airflow, again, important for keeping molds and mildews away. All that said, a few days at a high RH won't kill her. Just make sure she has good airflow. Best of luck my friend!

you can try to attach the branch with the insulating tape to the black one in PVC (for electrical systems) to see it, the branches even if they are completely patched can still finish flowering, attach it well and you will see that everything will be ok.

Have i cut off too much leaf in week 8? I was fighting to control RH and decided to cut back some of the bigger leaf but i may have got a bit cutter happy! It feels like the buds have not put any weight on this week. Would it hurt to feed some extra bloom?

She is looking fine and growing, has a bit of signs of overfeed but overall its a perfectly healty plant, i wouldn't give extra feed to compensate lack of foliage, as with less fotosyntetically active areas the nutrients will be less efective due to having less fotosyntesys to make use of the nutrients by the plants, so it may burn her to increase the dosage, just let her grow, and stick to the schedule and everything will be perfect.

Hello, If you want tho harvest when the plant is in is full power of thc and other components, you aim to harvest when the tricomes are 90-10%( cloudy amber) ! If you and a more sedative feeling or a mix with head high you can harvest when the tricomes are 50/50( cloudy/amber), more amber tricomes more sedative high will be, because thc are transformed in CBN! So she will be ready soon! Just keep a eye on that tricomes! Wish it helps! Check my diarie if you like! Cheers mate !

Last night my light timer broke. How sensitive are autos to their light schedule being messed with? i was on a 16/8 for the lsat few weeks. Last night my timer broke and i did not realise until midday. Now shes been in the dark for nearly 12 hrs!! Should i expect some issues ?

None at all, had my timer go mental and turning on and off whenevr he wanted, so i had my autos with basically something like 3h on 30min off 1h on 30 min off 4h on 30min off 1h on 6h off and they still all did well. It was during my growbarato diary, now i dont use timers at all. Whenever i find a reliable one i might go back to timers, in relation to the plant, she won't care. Photoperiods- (timer goes rogue) WHAT THE FUCK?! IMMA DIE ,IMMA REVEG, IMMA DO SEEDS!!! Autoflowers- (timer goes rogue) Did something happen? I could had grown an extra 0,001cm during the time it was off, oh well back to normal now.

I like to trim all the big leaves off . Hang them up in a tent . Keep humidty around 60 percent for the first few days . Then reduce it as the week goes on to around 50 to 55. Temps I keep quite cool at 19.5degress c. Usually dried nicely in 8 days. Longer the drying process the better. You don't want to dry then to quickly. Keep a fan in the corner of the tent also for air circulation. Not directed at your buds. And in the curing jars from there.

Halfway into week 9 and the smells are amazing. She's not growing any bigger to the eye but I can see the buds are fattening up like a fat kid in a sweet shop. (Candy store for our American friends)... I am sitting out watching her far too much and think I have maybe 10 days to 2 weeks left. For our first grow this has been so much fun. I've learnt so much from so many nice folks. Thanks to everyone who advised me so far. I have some Barney's farm triple cheese and a narco purps for when my widow is done and I can't wait..

Day 58 and I've noticed for the first time some nute burn (I think). The tips of a few leaves have gone pin head yellow. I took away the biogrow this feed. Will see if it gets worse.

Wow, looking good! I don’t know what kind of tent you have, but on mine there is a flap at the back with a screened vent. I stuck a bigger dehumidifier right on the outside of the tent so it pulls air from the vent flap and it had worked wonders for my humidity problem. I couldn’t get it below 60% before and I had 3 fans going and an extractor fan! Now it stays around 40-45. I’ll definitely follow your progress.

@BlueBillie, I do have the flap you mention. The trouble is I have had to put the tent into a cupboard that is only a little bigger then the tent so my access is just awful. But these are the lessons I wanted to learn along the way. I shall be building a purpose built shed at the back of the garden soon with a 6ft sq space dedicated. So all the tips and things I learn on this grow I can carry forward. An update on the high RH. Came out this morning, and it was at 92%.... I carried out some defoliation as she was bushy low down. It's dropped 20% already. De humidifier is on the list though.😊
