NEW JOURNAL TIME!!!
Aight, so this will be my second consecutive grow in a hot minute. I feel like i worked the kinks out. Now its time to kill it.
Going SOG for this grow. Planning on 3 strains, 3 plants each. 9 pots in a 4x4. 3 gallon, fabric. Taller orientation pots over wider. FoxFarm Coco Loco. Using generic LEDs as of now, but i plan to fill the tent with SpiderFarmer 2000s in the very near future.
This is a sneak peak. I will be popping the beans soon and adding photos respectively.
As always, stay safe and happy growing:)
Wow wow wow. Turns out my last "autos" had some photos in it. This delayed my next grow, but they are now well on their way.
Today is day 9 from seed. The front three/left girls are the cream mandarin. So far, they are all taking off. I really really need to get the new lights i was planning on getting. In the meantime, the girls are doing great. I will add more photos this week.
Well, looks like two of the girls have already showed their sex on day 17! So far, they are girls!!! After some fan-leaf tucking on the oldest girls, my hands smell tropical and orange-y. I can tell this one is going to get STANKY.
The rate of growth is really shocking me. They are taking off!
I will be ordering some Spiderfarmer SF2000s by the time they flower. Smoooooooth sailing! Eazy peazy! Never even gone over 150 PPM yet!
These girls are LOVING the LST!!! I can already see the benefits of tucking fan leaves, since these ladies have been clearly aiming their energy towards side branches that Ive exposed day after day. All three have shown their sex at this point-I have three healthy ladies!! All the girls have white 'hairs' on their main stalk, no bulges in this tent allowed!!!
Just recently started some foliar feeding of FoxFarm FlowersKiss, with seemingly great results.
In just a few days I will be receiving my NEW LIGHTS!!!! They are a quantum board type growlight. I was originally planning on buying a pair of SpiderFarmer SF2000s for my 4x4, but found some different lights recently that caught my eye. They supposedly use the same samsung diodes and meanwell driver, just in a more spread out organization of the diodes. I will be rocking a clean 400W draw from the lights in the 4x4, which is really low and efficient.
Update 10/12
Well. Two of the three ladies are now in preflower on day 24! Looks like next week will be the beginning of flower!
Update 10/15
All 9 girls in the tent have started preflowering, which is a great sign. These girls are developing a tropical citrus nose so far, not overly loud.

Today is technically Day 30 from seed, although the pics are from last night, D29. So far the ladies are developing nicely! All three are still in preflower. Two of the three ladies are very tall and stretchy with less side branches, while one is a tad shorter and wider with her growth.
All three ladies smell AMAZING!!! Like a skunky, slightly tropical orange. Tucking these ladies daily is a JOY! They leave my hands smelling like heaven.
This round, I am deciding to ride the fine line of underwatering these ladies, since I feel my last batch was overwatered early on and stunted. I am also deciding to NOT snip fan leaves right now. I will still defoliate the lower areas in a few weeks here, but I am deciding to keep stress to a minimum. They are getting HUNGRY and THIRSTY though, as I will need to increase watering volume and PPMs to give these ladies what they need. They are really starting to grow!
Thanks for following along ;)

These ladies are definitely stretching out and getting taller by the day. I have recently upped their nutes to keep up with how hungry they are with their growth! These are definitely sativas with how they are developing! Although they do have some yellowing out near the bottom from being underfed, they seem very happy.
---10/24/20---
Well. These ladies are showing classic signs of underfeeding and have slowed down their growth. I think I am having some troubles with the nutes I am mixing together. I have a hunch that some of them are clashing and reacting with each other. To fix this, I decided to order a new line-up of nutrients and stop using my pieced-together regiment.
These ladies are going to react nicely to the higher PPMs. Stay tuned!

I figured out my nute issue. Turns out my base nutes were having a reaction with my flower booster and organic nutes. I also found out my organic PH buffer was reacting with my nute regiment.... Switched to almost pure FF at a whopping 950 PPM with little nutes and effort. My new nutes are coming in the upcoming days. In the meantime, i can already see the positive response from the heavier feeding. CM² is turning purple?........ WHA....?
Oh and these ladies are smelling so FINE. wow. Like a dank, tropical mandarin orange. I do get a deep creaminess at times as well.
I am hoping I fixed my nute issues early enough. Regardless, these ladies are filling their space and still LOVING the lights. It feels so good to have a full, happy tent.
Added more fans for added upper airflow!

MAMA MIA!!! Yo boy pulled a stupid move. I tried training CM² and ended up bending a branch at the base. I quickly stopped applying pressure to that branch once it gave out(bent), so I am thinking it will recover. This girl is already mid-flower and made her side-branches super rigid. Although CM² is the shortest, she has by far the thickest side branches. She also has the most bud developement.
This plant has to be a different Pheno than the other two, considering the side and how much quicker this plant is maturing. This girl also grew different than the other two ladies, staying compact with very verticle side branches. In other words, I was trying to gently open this lady up a little. Looks like I was too late to properly LST this one, even though CM² is ironically the only one that needed it.
Now that I have been feeding heavier, I can see visible improvement on all three ladies. CM¹ and CM³ have more of a sour, tropical orange smell, while CM² has an interesting creaminess taking over her nose.
Soo..... Looks like I made an oopsie and my OG account is GONE. Lost. Not recoverable....
I will attempt to remake the diary on my new profile. Thanks yall
