Considering she was put in soil with a tap root on 7/29— she is a Quick One!
Just PH water with some cal mag in my own super soil mix. No nutrients yet.
We are just entering week six since the day I put the seed in water!
Very short but very healthy looking. Trying to bend her a bit.
Still no nutrients besides cal mag and a top dress of cavern culture. Sitting in super soil. Taking LST like a champ.
Looks good—- has a little diatomaceous earth powder on her lower leaves—- not PM.
So I’m bending her pretty good.
Dry short, it she is getting frosty—- not a big yielder, it smells good and is sticky! This is day # 58. They say it’s will be ready in 65 days— probably closer to 70-75
I took her out of the LST and she perked up a little... really had her bent to get the bottom growth to start forming. Smells really nice, with a hint of skunk.
So she is starting to fade showing amber... going to get the chop in a few days—- next update will be the harvest
This is probably the most resin coated auto I’ve Grown yet! Touch these flower and your fingers feel like sticky sand!
So this was my smallest harvest to date, but also my most resin coated autoflower as well! So positives and negative—- this plant is an easy one and strong!
Ok, so this lady is touted as a 65 day finisher—- I think these seed companies run the lights for 24 or 20 hours—- because at 18/6, she took 80 days. Small but VERY RESIN COATED. The trichomes on this one are insane—. She was only my fourth autoflower harvest and they can be all over the place, so my expectations were right on par. The smell is amazing! No hay, just a spice pine herby smell. She took all the food like a champ and put out a small yield, but a very quality yield! I bent her over completely like a bonsai at about 120 degrees.
I have two more seeds and look forward to trying them outdoors next year!
I would recommend this strain! Pre cure taste is solid and it gets you!
Thanks to the growdiaries community! You help so much!
Peace, love and happy growing!
✌️🏻♥️🌿🌞
The problem with these strains is that if we are not lucky enough, we can catch some bad seeds.
I'm also growing 3 of these and as you may have noticed, in only 3 weeks they are full flowering, however they are really spaced and I bet my harvest won't be that good. Yours is looking good and healthy. Be patient, she will be just fine despite the slower growth.
Happy growing 👌🏻🙏
@AutoKing, interesting—- I’m using a very light soil—- IndiCanja—- my seed was a bit of a mutant at the beginning—- I’m scared to go full coco. I do add some to my soil though for air...
@Cgrow, @ChitownCannaChica
I think it's all in the grow medium. The faster the roots can grow the faster and bigger the plant will grow. Coco coir makes for very fast growth similar to hydro. I'm currently growing in bio bizz light mix. I love it. I get really good growth and they take off fast. I had to keep supercropping in my tent to keep height under control or my auto cheese whd be much taller right now. When I grew in hydro it seemed autos took several weeks past breeders recommendations. Growing in biobizz light mix there going soooooo much faster. Not trying to advertise products. Just saying what works well for me. Happy growing. Good luck!
@ChitownCannaChica, for sure, the stated times and also the average numbers on the scales. It's just crazy how big some plants got and mines never go far beyond the 40cm. Nevertheless I'm a newbie gardner in general. These are my first experiences with canna too.
Looking nice & healthy! Your "Quick One" seems to behaving like mine & taking it slow & steady. Mine didn't start flowering till I started treating it like a Photoperiod & swapped to 12/12 after 8 weeks & she's still growing slow 😂
Enjoy your grow!
