The return of the prodigal bud Dutch Passions Black Berry Kush is a long time favourite, due to its quick finish and fantastic terpene profile not to mention she delivers a technical knockout.
unfortunately she prefers to be run winter but why wait ๐ . the room has ben fairly consistent 25-29.c, she is not into it and it shows she is not very tall for her age. she is usually of a smaller variety anyway but almost always first to finish. just very happy to have her home where she belongs ๐. might go in for some slightly advanced training as familiarity brings confidence and previous encounters with these genes have proven bondage to be quite a successes story.
on a side note the extraction was yet again redrafted (the perils of imperfect places) although temporary the extraction now makes use of a plumbers access point inside the space.
extracted air is pushed into the wall and floor cavity although fairly effective the solution is not perfectly air tight. its temporary however soon a more advanced silent set up will be installed ....
@autoseedsman,
smokes the bomb!
literally already put another BBK seed on like 3 days ago love this flavour too much
will put diary up today .... camera problems aside
@Inganjawetrust,
Usually save this particular variety for winter but its hard to wait to play the favourite sometimes.
under lower temps she is a little quicker and easy to get full purple, the profile picture is from a previous BBK harvest.
Its going to be an adventure trying her above 25.c but she will be back over winter theirs always some BBK seed in the vault.
@Inganjawetrust,
she really came through in the end ...
wait till i update that mazar theirs less photos than id like due to camera issues but the plant is an interesting shape now ....
@NanoGrow,
thanks, she smells soooooo good, so far its the favourite variety
was hoping she would get a little bigger but it was quite warm in august
she likes the cold usually she gets her slot in January
@Inganjawetrust,
she is looking ok but not as good as she was expected to do
she has been a bit depressed since day 1 drooping leaves etc
will run the seed again in the middle of winter
she had fantastic results in a previous run where the temp stays below 20.c avg
@growlikepros,
she kinda did, its been colder the last week she generally prefers the lower temps and
its been 26.c day time and 19.c night time for a week now.
she grew from 19cm -22cm and their has been some cola development.
@7Atom7,
6 plants total in 3 sets of 2 plants all 4 full weeks apart in a 120cm x 60cm space
the 4 plants directly under the light are usually middle age group (so weeks 3-6) and the oldest plants (weeks 6-12) the
2 plants at the side are the seedlings (weeks 0-3) when the older ones hit week 12 the oldest plants get taken down
the youngest become the middle the middle becomes the oldest and some new seedlings start week 0
new plants go in on day 1 week 5 of the middle plants life to keep everything a month apart
hope this helps feel free to inbox/PM or ask anything always happy to help
Regarding the Attis 300w Did you have it set max power from the start with a specific distance kept at or did you gradually increase intensity and height as weeks progress....
Iโm wondering more for specifically for
1-3 day old soil breakers
I ask for your experience, since what is never revealed with dimmable drivers is the growers settings , for example do you have suggestions for seedling phase regarding height and intensity with this particular light ?
Cheers n best regards A
@7Atom7,
you know your right over half the led brands don't even provide par maps/ ppf or the ยตmol/w
in the begging with the light was on 60% and hung about 60 cm and it worked very well
but this room is a perpetual auto flowering harvest so now the light is always on 100% 20hrs a day
seedlings are placed in the room at the edges (where ppf is lower anyway)
and moved towards the centre as older plants are harvested.
the light sits pretty steady at about 80cm above the soil but everything in this space is actively stunted to maintain a good space ratio between the different generations
Quick explanation of why perpetual harvest
this room gives 2 plants every 4 weeks and the yield is 50-75g per plant using about half the wattage for the oldest 2 and the other half is spent on vegetative and early flowering plants (2x75g=150g or 0.5 g/pw)
if it hits 150g 3 times in a row its that's more pot than you would get just running the room as one group it would max at 300gish
so more pot in the same time with shorter waiting times and bigger strain selection in small spaces auto rolling grows rock!
(also under prohibition less budding babies is better)
