I use soil form Canna and Bat guano and worm castings added to the mix. I also have BioBizz Top-Max and will introduce it this week or next one slowly.
What a crazy week this has been. My attic grow has proven to be a challenging one as the snow comes in and -7C at night and - 3C during the day I had to keep my grow tent open to allow for hot air to escape into the attic as I feared that melted snow/ice on the roof would compromise my stealth grow operation, but because of that I had to switch my light to 600 to keep girls warm - that resulted to be too much for one maybe two of them and I ended up with slightly curled leaves. One plant is also pretty yellow and I am not sure whether it's me watering them too much or if I added too much of bat guano/worm castings into the soil mix? If you can point me in the right direction I will appreciate it very much. Thanks and happy growing. I hope girls will get better and healthy looking soon :)
Hi, leaves are starting to yellow one by one.One plant quite a lot and the other seems to catching up. Last week was not ideal for growing and girls experienced some higher temp.Any ideas?I water them daily with last couple of days every two days
IMO it seems like over-watering.
Also, 84 F is pretty warm. At this temp you should have a higher humidity, around 65 to 75% -

And the difference vs. the night is huge at 21 F. Such a big difference isn't healthy.
I guess you are keeping the plants warm by leaving the light on 24Hrs?
Although there are a lot of conflicts to ideal lighting schedules, I personally think the plants should be given some rest.

But then I'm also not an experienced grower, just been reading a lot. So take what I say with a grain of salt if you wish 😁
Thanks to your advice I stopped over watering girls and they seem more healthy than last week. They have around 4-5 nodes now and starting to grow faster. I will have LST them soon as I will be short of space quickly otherwise.
Girls are stretching up a bit and are starting to flower.I am still careful with watering and hold back a bit. Side branches are stretching slowly upwards and I will have to LST them in a week or two to keep them all low. So far it looks good ;). Happy grow to everyone
Girls are stretching and flowering.Purple Buds are looking great and they are already turning purple with some leaves having a nice hue of purple color.They seem to be more stocky to comparison with Industrial Plants, which may be a bit taller than Purple Bud, but who knows how it will all end up. I adjusted the timer and girls now have 18 hours of light with 6 hours of darkness. I water them every 2-3 days and use around 1l for them all.I think with all this stretching I will have to water a bit more soon.I will also have to LST them very soon to keep them low, don't want to burn them.
This update comes three days earlier. I usually take pixs and upload on Mondays, but will not be around. Girls are stretching slowly and I finally managed to LST them all - so far just lower branches excluding the main cola.Purple Buds are turning purple and I am like a small kid - the smell is amazing and I recall days when I used to go to Amsterdam and brought this strain with me.I loved the smell so much ;) when smoked. Industrial Plant CBD seems to grow a bit faster and is taller than PBuds. I added a bit of a soil to the pot and watered girls a lot today as I am leaving for a week - fingers crossed girls will be fine when I come back. Happy grow to everyone :)
Girls are in the flowering cycle and seem to enjoy themselves, they are fattening nicely and it looks like it should be a nice harvest ;). Fingers crossed. CBD plant is slightly higher than Purple Buds and not as dense so far but main colas are both looking decent, with another 3-4 maybe more weeks it could be exciting to watch what will happen. Fan leaves are yellowing but so far it is not a big concern as the rest looks alright. LST helped as more light gets down to smaller buds. This week I used different fertilizer - also organic. Oh yeah ;) I got a bit carried away with pictures. Enjoy :)

I started to flush both Purple Puds first 6 days ago and Industrial CBD plant few days 4 days ago. I will chop Purple Bud next week and CBD will follow maybe a week later. One of them seems to be ready and the other one looks like it has two weeks left so we will see how it goes. The temperature in the attic is out of control with the last couple of days being around 26*C it gets very hot in there, but anyway, I am pretty excited about this grow and cannot wait to taste both girls :). Purple Buds are amazing.I could not be happier with their color, buds are chunky and frosty, the smell is indescribable. It reminds me a certain sweet from the childhood :) and I bet it will taste even better. Later, I will show some more pictures for Industrial CBD which is doing fine. I will move Purple Buds tomorrow out of my tent for two days in the darkness and then - harvest time :) CBD has got one more week to go I think. Happy growing to everyone.
I am so happy with this grow and how beautifully she turned up. I started growing her early and made temperature at night is around 15*C and it paid off as she is very purple. I could not ask for more to be honest.
Sensi Seeds delivered more than 100 % on this occasion. Thanks guys. Purple Buds were very easy to grow and coped extremely well with few cockups I made along the way. I also love the fact that plants are very small and compact - that's ideal for my stealth attic grow no one knows about - apart you :) Purple buds smell is fantastic. It reminds me of times when I was young, smoking this strain on my hitchhiking trips to Holland. It smells like blackcurrant mixed with syrup and some sweets - it's lovely and difficult to describe - it's truly unique. I cannot wait to smoke it again after around 15 years or so. This strain has got the biggest single cola I have ever grown - thanks to Dinafem genetics. I think I got two phenotypes. One very chunky and dense and second one with crystals everywhere, but not as dense as the first plant. One is done and ready and the second chunky/dense one could go for at least another week or two. The smell is similar to Hijack and other similar strains. I think you have to watch your plants and give them just enough water and nutrients and I slipped sometimes = one plant a bit yellowing, but nothing too bad :).
I will update dry weight and smoke report when all is ready.
OK my friends, smoke report is finally here :). I have been kind of pre-testing from samples and today smoked a joint. The high is great. It makes you nicely relaxed and comfy. It will make you smile and puts you into really nice and laidback mood - so you can relax, listen music, read a book or do whatever because your mind will function just rigtht. I really liked CBD to THC ratio this plant has. It gives me similar high/effect as Med Gom I used to grow in the past by CBD Crew. For me it works perfectly. The smoke is very smooth and the taste is not bad either. The smell is amazing when freshly grinded. It reminds me a mint with oriental spices mixed together. It difficult to describe, but the smell is great. I can feel a hint of mint. I am happy how this grow turned up, harvest could be a big bigger, but overall I am loving this plant and how it makes me feel :). Have a great summer. Peace
My first Dinafem grows and what an outcome :). I got King Kong - the biggest cola I have ever grown. It yielded 53 grams and I will update smoke report in a week time I guess. Both Purple Buds and Industrial Plant CBD should be ready. I am currently undertaking some pre-smoke report testing :) and it ain't bad my friends a all :)0000
It seems that I am overwatering girls,so will take it easy from now on. I hope that will improve things and train girls a bit. In two and half weeks I will not be at home for a week and girls will have to survive without water all that time :(. Thanks all to you for all your handy suggestions.
Hi, drying is kind of done. It was too hot in the attic and buds are a bit too dry to my liking, but it's alright, nothing too bad - thanks god. The smell is hard to describe. It is sweet and dark and sensual like a heavy /sweet just enough perfume with like a blackcurrant. I will update on smoke when buds are cured :). Cannot wait.
@CBD_Sweden, I may give it a shot myself this year ;).I keep growing autos mainly because its size is relatively small as I struggle with headspace in my attic - big times.
Oh my purple! Thats the most purple ive ever seen! I feel like most purple strains you're lucky to get even a hint of it, but your plant is just totally saturated in beautiful color! Thats gotta be one of the most gorgeous buds ive seen on here! Well done getting to the end and with such stunning results.
@Experimentgreen, I also love video, but sometimes it's a bit time-consuming. I have not taken any video of my current grow, just pictures and will make some video from pictures and video of my harvest :). Cannot wait

It looked like a good video to me. The color wasn't bad and it showed your process which is awesome. People need footage to compare their setup to or to help initially do a setup so that was awesome.

The only thing is that I took most pictures inside of my grow tent and colors are not looking that real, because of the color spectrum my light emits.
The girls are well into flower now and developing at a rapid pace :)

Typically our industrial plant auto cbd is finished between day 63-77 so your getting close.
The lower leaves are yellowing which is natural and shows the plants is preparing for the chop :)
Beautiful work so far. With harvest approaching fast you'll be trying our genetics in no time :)

@DinafemSeeds,One CBD Plant has got a huge looking cola. The second one is more loose, but has got more crystals all over the sugar leaves. I am getting short of my Med Gom by CBD Crew and cannot wait to try your genetics Mark ;)

@dubkream, I was talking to someone in my grow shop and they were very happy with Dinamed CBD strain. I told them that I grew Med Gom by CBD Crew and Cannatonic by Resin Seeds. We agreed that CBD strains are great and this bloke recommends Dinamed CBD. If you need only pure CBD this strain will be great :) to try out.
@Streptokok, thats awesome, ill follow that grow. i have a ton of seeds i want to finish up, but ill def add in dinamed if it looks like you can pull out those purples!
@dubkream, Hi dubkream. My next grow I would like to try Dinamed CBD by Dinafem Seeds. It looks great with purple, orange colours and it is nearly pure CBD plant. I have grown Cannatonic and this strain seems to be looking great. Let me know if you decide to grow it and I will be following your journey :)

I also added one more for my last week Purple Buds Auto harvest yesterday. Mark from Dinafem seeds suggested his new Dinamed CBD Plus strain and I will give it go. I will grow Purple Buds again as I have three more seeds left and they are so easy to grow, smell is so unique and colors are very funky and unusual and may have some Royal Seeds strains - not sure which yet :), but it looks like my grow tent is going to be pretty full next time :). @Horantu, Thanks mate :). I am very excited indeed. two girls down and one more week for Industrial Plant to go. I just uploaded more pictures to week 12. I took only one of the girls down for the photoshoot. The main cola is pretty big and lower branches are becoming pretty chunky and fat. There is still a lot of white hairs on the main cola and maybe I could keep her flowering for a bit longer, but on the other hand, I think one more week is just fine.
@Experimentgreen, I was thinking the same thing actually :), but it was time to let her go.I have three more seeds and may grow her again this autumn. I shot few shots and will make quick video later on or when I update smoke report, when girls are dry and cured.

@Horantu,Thanks man :). Last time I smoked Purple Buds that was around 15 years ago, while in Holland. I loved the smell and the color - everything about that strain and it made me feel just right. I am very happy with how she turned out. There are some deficiencies going on, but nothing too bad I think and she is very hard and chunky, almost rock solid buds and the color is just great. I think she goes next week Tuesday or Wednesday as I have been flushing her for nearly a week now :). CBD Industrial plant has got the biggest cola I have ever grown so far - cannot believe it and lower branches are swelling up very nicely too. Happy growing to you and a have a great harvest.
