Week beginning 10/9/2020. Asperger's strikes again. I was seeing trouble with the plants and had a mental fail trying to figure out what was wrong. And then, suspecting nute burn, I did some research and ... WOW. I thought it was daily feeding, not WEEKLY feeding, but there it is. One plant (the one that was my best) suffered severe nute burn and may not make it even after repeated flushing and checking the runoff to make sure it was acceptable in terms of ppm. pH was carefully checked and managed too. I got to the other two plants in time and they are back in LST along with poor Ciel, the tallest and most burnt plant. Adjusted the light upward physically. Flush occurred on Monday, 10/12. Birddog and Bubba are looking fantastic. They've bushed out like crazy. I'll be doing some HST later for more branches :) For the time being, I'm letting the plants grow more or less naturally. I just finished doing three full flushes per plant the day before the photos were taken. Ciel looked horrible before she got better, but they're all better now. Next week will be a light feeding and regular watering. Pruned off the dead growth and big, low fan leaves that weren't getting light anyway. Restarted LST on 10/11.

I have a seedling that is alive but has not popped its cotelydon leaves open yet. It almost looks like part of the seed might be stuck and holding it back. As it stands now, I'm thinking I should just leave it alone and give it a chance to finish the job. Recommendations?

Use your fingernail or tweezers to remove it. It will come off with little resistance. Just make sure you don't tear the roots by doing it, she's very fragile right now, can't be yanking her outta the ground.

Let's say I have different sets of seedlings that will go into a veg tent 2 weeks apart. For example, week 1 = first set of seedlings to veg. Week 3, add to veg tent Week 5, add the next set. Is this even legit? Can you just extend the veg period until they all catch up?

Hey! Yes it could work but I don’t recommend it. I’ll try and break this down. What you want is an even canopy to get even light coverage to have even growth and in the end nice buds. The first ones you add will be taller than the last, now to have an even canopy what you could do is train the first ones as they grow, doing some LST or topping them, so that as they grow your limiting their height so the others can catch up. With a bit of work you could get that done. But the last sets wouldn’t be as advanced as the first ones and won’t have the same size or yield the same even though having the same height. Basically to do this you’ll need to do a lot of training. I recommend you just pop them in all at once and even doing that you’ll have troubles with getting an even canopy and having the same height. Even more if there’s different strains.. sativas and indicas which grow differently. Not even to mention is some or all of them are Autoflowers. If you check out my diaries I’ve got mostly indicas and Teo sativas.. they’re all in the same tent, started together and there’s quite some difference in height.. which took training and adding support to raise the ones that are shorter. Hope this helped you make your mind up. Any questions let me know. Good luck and happy Growing.

@Ferenc, You should look at the plant photos starting from week 1 and into week 7. I can't believe how this plant's health has turned around! SO AWESOME NOW!! I keep forgetting how resilient cannabis can actually be :)

that is a quite common issue, the seed shell remaining stuck. You need to VERY CAREFULLY remove it without damaging the baby leaves.
