Solo Cup 2020 Auto Sour Diesel

M_Littlefield Hello everyone!!!! I'm really looking forward to a contest like this. I've never planted in a 16oz plastic cup with holes in the bottom for drainage. It will be fun. Seed planted directly in the cup. This first week has grown considerably, it seems like the seed is strong.

M_Littlefield The first week ended up showing some deficiencies/yellowing of the leaves, so this week I've started to add some nutrients, a very small amount. A bit of rooting agent so it can grow well, and for the vegetative phase, we'll use BioGrow and BioHeaven.

M_Littlefield I'm sticking with the same amounts of nutrients to avoid burning the little plant. Watering every 3-4 days, the plant is doing well. In the tent, I have another one ready to harvest, so in a few days it will have the light all to itself.

M_Littlefield This week it has grown a lot, it has doubled its height. Watering continues every 3-4 days, alternating 2 with nutrients and 1 just with water. The first pistils are starting to appear, so pre-flowering is beginning 😁

M_Littlefield The lower leaves keep losing color, I can't figure out why... We already have the flowering phase underway, so BioBloom and TopMax are now in play. The leaves are starting to show clawing, I guess due to excess nitrogen. From now on, I won't use any more BioGrow. Watering every 3-4 days, alternating 2 with nutrients and 1 with just water.

M_Littlefield It seems that the plant has a deficiency of N, as the leaves are turning yellow over the days. I'm trying to fix it, hope to achieve it. The flowering is progressing, watering is every two days, it's clear that it now needs more water. The outdoor temperatures have improved a lot, also enhancing the growing conditions.

M_Littlefield The plant continues to have its yellowing leaf problems. The flowers are still developing. This week they're starting to receive a good dose of flowering nutrients so they can reach their maximum possible size.

M_Littlefield Last week receiving nutrients. The next two, just water. The overall appearance isn't very favorable, but it has a very appealing aroma. We'll see once it's harvested, dried, and cured. I've managed to significantly slow down the yellowing of the leaves, but it's not 100% recovered. I don't think it will be at this point. We'll see how it ends. Good smokes!

M_Littlefield First week of nutrient flush in the plant, so the waterings are just with water. The images are from the end of the week, and you can see that the plant is yellowing faster. Next week will be its last week. The trichomes are starting to look milky, but they don't show any amber color yet.

M_Littlefield Last week, pictures from her last day, before the harvest. She will spend 24 more hours in darkness and then be harvested. Most of the trichomes are milky with some amber, especially on the top flower. This week, she has only been watered once; it's clear that in her final days, she hasn't needed much water.

M_Littlefield The yield has been quite good, the expected amount with such a small pot. I hadn't planted this strain before, it has been easy and hasn't required much attention, too bad about the N deficiency.
