Occult Magnetic Experiment

The Occult Magnetic Experiment is finished after 11 weeks from seed. This was the 1st cannabis magnetic experiment ever documented and finalized. Purpose of this small scale experiment is to elucidate the effects of axial neodymium magnets during the germination, vegetative growth and flowering phase of cannabis grown in organic soil in indoor/tent conditions. Magnetic field was reported to affect phenotypic, genotypic, growth characteristics and different functions of the plants like root and shoot growth, germination of seeds, yield parameters, productivity, reproduction, growth of the meristem cells, mRNA quality, chlorophyll contents, enzyme activities, gene expression, protein biosynthesis ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Three seeds of Lemon Cream Kush Automatic from @SpliffSeeds were randomly taken from a batch of 5 seeds provided from the same Mother plant by my good friend Marcel. The seeds were initially kept in water for 24h then inserted at same depth in individual water soaked eazy plugs. Over the 1st plug a neodymium magnet oriented South pole facing down was put, over the 2nd one a control plastic ring and over the 3rd eazy plug, a neodymium magnet oriented North pole facing up. ================================================================================================= The seed with the North pole sprouted after 24h, the South after 48h and the control after 96h. ================================================================================================= From previous experiments conducted, but never until now, documented in this form on @GrowDiaries , I came to observe an increase in yield and size on plants growing through neodymium magnets oriented North side up. This small experiment proved this hypothesis on cannabis plants. ================================================================================================= Throughout the whole duration of this small scale experiment the plant growing through the neodymium magnet oriented North pole facing up did considerably and undeniably better than the other two, the one growing through a neodymium magnet oriented South pole facing up and the one growing through the plastic ring to act as control. For the experiment 12.5L Airpots filled with Plagron RoyalMix were used for each plant. All of the factors (e.g. light intensity and schedule, quantity and quality of water, time of watering plants, type and quantity of fertilizer, etc.) were kept constant except the orientation and placement of magnets. Also, a constant watering time was maintained to reduce unexpected variables that affect the growth of tested plants therefore the treatment and watering times were properly scheduled. Plants were in a LightHouse LITE 1.5m² tent under Cropmaster Led Pro 1000 550w (make sure to check them out https://www.cropmaster-led.co.uk/ ) &&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&& Results: Seed germination: The seed with the North pole sprouted after 24h, the South after 48h and the control after 96h. Seedlings growth: Growth of the seedling growing through the North pole magnet grew more rapidly and vigorously vs the South pole and the control one. Vegetation: Significantly much faster growth with thicker stem and multiple vigorous side branches noted in the plant growing through the North pole oriented magnet and was the tallest of the 3 of them, also being the 1st to show pre-flowering signs. Flowering: Started after 4 weeks of vegetation. All three plants were considered ready to harvest after 7 weeks of flowering, total of 11 weeks from seed. North pole plant had a visible accelerated flowering. Harvest: A total of 546 dry bud came from 3 plants. The South plant gave 173g, the Control plant 109g and the North plant 264g ; Plants were not weighted while wet, only after drying. ******************************************************************************************************************************************************************** I would really encourage more growers to try this method and replicate this experiment in different growing mediums and also with clones.
