yellowing this week seems to be fixed after feeding, Co2 added and exhaust fan running at 70%, intake at 100%. Spider farmer dropped down to 24 inches but may be seeing some heat stress and windburn. Also forgot to fill humidifier one night and Rh dropped to 40%. Hoping the plants recover from their underwatering as some leaves are touching the coco.

Should I be running my exhaust fan and intake fan during the day while I have a Co2 bottle in the tent, or will Scrubbing air make adding it useless?

Hello. The Scrubber is just for odor and as nothin to do with air content. Yes leave it running all day. you need to control the rh and temp first, then worry about co2. I use half as much as they say I need to. I use it to enhance the air, not enough that the tent needs to be vented before I can go in. Good luck. Chuck.

How can I fix the issues arising from this seedling. Near the end of week 2 is this plant stunted in growth? Plant leaves are also twisting slightly.

You want then eating. Its best to give just enough water for 24 hours. You want to feed then when the light comes on. But first you need to get rid of the excess water... Them more they eat the faster and bigger they'll grow. If you feed them too much water they'll just be stunted and wont do much, maybe get Root Rot https://www.growweedeasy.com/cannabis-plant-problems/marijuana-root-rot

Leaves are starting to yellow and become pale/blotchy a bit but have developed some burn as well, either nutrient or light. Is this overwatering still, or a deficiency/toxicity

You have some light/heat stress going on. Try and keep temps around 75f and try raising your light up 6-8 inches. But she doesn't look too bad. Happy growing.

When is a good indication of when to start watering pots until runoff? Plants are small in 3 gallon fabric pots (3:1 coco to perlite) right now and topsoil dries out within 24 hours feeding 500ml of water a day. Had issues overwatering in small plastic pots earlier on in seedling

You can try to water a little more, a little deeper, from day to day. This way you keep the root zone clean from salt build ups. Usually roots are about the size of the plant. Eventually you will see run off. I think your coco looks a little dry to me.

My plug timeris running about 10 fast each 24hr. And is now at about 2 hours past the actual time. This causes the light cycle to shift forward slightly everyday. Should I set it back to the correct time, leave it be or buy a new one? It is plugged vertically in wall socket.

Either keep resetting the time, so you don't cycle through day/night hours over time for your own convenience of waking hours, or buy a new one. i have one that is a tad fast, but not 10mins per day. every 3-4 months i just make sure it's the correct time

After starting LST on all 5 of my plants I’ve noticed that some fan leaves are still blocking light from new growth sites. The inverse is now also true as some lower fan leaves are now not getting any light. Should I chop the top leaves, lower leaves, both? when should I do so?

You could defoliate but only when necessary. You could tuck fan leafs under others to get more light to the bottom grow sights. If any of the leafs are touching the floor however then you could remove them

One of my plants has been perpetually droopy and has had swollen & wilting leaves. Have given it less water and have always waited longer for it’s soil to dry out but it seems to still be unhappy with me. Any advice would be great ( feed ppm around 600 and 5.9 Ph this week)

Take your ph to 5.8 and make sure your runoff ph is within 5.5 to 6.0 for veg. I would be feeding at 1.2 to 1.4 ec at this stage. Also keep an eye on your runoff ec levels to watch for ec levels climbing. Cheers

Start of week 6 I see What I think are potassium deficiencies & nitrogen abundances @ same time in most of my plants. I assumed I had lockouts due to ppm/ph issues and did not to raise nute levels & flushed at end of week 5. Any remo growers or with similar Situation any advice?

Unless instruction on your brand's label says otherwise, pH anything going into substrate to 6.5. Don't change so many things in 1 week (from comment of diary). The pH alone could fix most of what you were seeing. Treat it more like soil. Wait for the color to change on top to a light brown but only top layer is enough. It'll repel water intially, but just put a light amount down first and then it'll water as normal after that soaks into top layer.

My plants are looking overall healthy but are not as dark green as I’ve seen most plants at this stage of growth, or like my plant on the bottom right of the canopy. I am feeding/foliar treating the same amounts to all plants. wondering what to do or should I just chill out?

LED can make things look off-colored too, so check out under normal lighting before assuming anything under your grow lights. MAybe, next time you remove a shielded or one with symptoms etc.. i.e. expendable, that's easier than moving an entire plant as long as some portion of the leaf looks like the rest of the plant. if you see hint of fading, i'd let it play out a bit, if slowly proceding. Better to be sure. Othwerwise, if the plant is vigorous, i wouldn't worry too much.

currently midway through my 9th week of veg and am wondering when I should send plants into flower, should I double check sex first? (Feminized seeds) or wait until my screen fills out more? Plants are in 3 gallons pots and I worry that they might get rootbound if I veg Longer.

If you’re doing a scrog, you want to fill 3/4 of the screen, then flip to flower and continue tucking the tops under the screen for 2-3 weeks. With 9 weeks of veg in 3 gallon pots, I’d also say to flip now. You shouldn’t have to worry about being rootbound in a fabric pot though as the roots are air pruned. Ps...smoking on some Barney’s Wedding Cake now and it’s 🔥

Started lollipopping this week but did not remove all leaves up to the trellis because I was worried amount plant stretch and shock. Should I keep the leaves at the current level (about 2-3” below trellis), or cut it all off? Should I wait until flower or do it in veg if so?

different per plant or under a new light etc... familiarity with how deeply you produce the type of nugs you want to produce should dictate. I try to err on leaving a little extra, but there is a lot less work if you minimize the larf and other substandard levels in canopy. Some plants will bush out and nothing we can do, others will result in nice long stalks of buds with limited branching. the latter are the ones i'd lollipop less, as those axillary buds will merge together to form long buds along stem vs. branching out and creating many small colas and larf down below => lots of extra work trimming. But, if you lollipop too much, you'll severely impact yield on the type that branch out uncontrollably. Familiarity with how long they stretch under 12-12 is helpful too... again, i try to err on the conservative side and the 'next' run i'll adjust in a more precise way. Leave the leaves! when you lollipop, leave them behind... the plant will suck them dry and shed them -> i.e. useful to the plant. I do remove the ones that get in the way of easy watering.

I have 2 budsites on my plants that I needed to top due to dying growth (either from windburn or trellis net). Both are on thick stems & pass the trellis net. It is now the first day of flower, should I cut these stems back or let them grow out? Maybe cut the one that is “sick”?

hello For early flowering id say 55 isnt bad since its couple with warm temperatures. You can usually run a higher humidity as long as the temp doesn't drop drastically at lights out....that's when pm wants to start growing, is with temperature Or humidity fluctuations. If you have an outlet to bring in fresh air through a window or something using the intake fan that'd be best. Otherwise just keep running the dehumidifier, and keep the airfow up and water in the mornings, no late night waterings.

Hey friends! My middle plant is tacoing and shooting out a lot of white pistils (only plant doing so and is directly under sf4000) . Is this a light issue, phenotype or mainly a ph and nutrient ovefeeding issue as other taller plants aren’t displaying these signs. TIA!

Hi! Those pistils look normal bud growth to me and not fox tailing but leaf tacoing is most often a symptom of too high VPD. To put it simple you have too much heat or too low humidity for this plant and you might need to add fans to cool the leafs or lower the temperature of the tent overall

Are my plant over fed? I’m currently 5.5 weeks into flowering and my plants are displaying some burning on their leaf tips, I know it’s probably nute burn, but I am wondering if it severe enough to cut down my feeds. I am currently feeding remo at the recommended chart amount.

Sativa hybrids take less than nute than Indica. I would cut back to runoff ppm of 800. Go with what the plant tells you. Burnt leaves won't recover. Burnt pistil will reduce you yield. So flush and cut back.

My tallest plant has been displaying signs of deficiencies/abundances of nutrients. I am worried about the yellowing leaves that have been getting progressively more pale for the last week. Is this a light, ph or nutrient issue? Week 6 of flower right now and N has been cut down.

Just starting the fade, she is starting to show her autumn colors as she finished up. Towards the end of their life cycle, cannabis plants stop taking nutrients from the soil and begin pulling it from the leaves, straight into the buds. She is finishing up as she should, best of luck!

I see growers using Remo having to let medium dry out between feeding because nutrient builds up and clogs everything up. May have to adapt how you use the nutes.

Hey there So a free way to help keep that humidity down is to defoliate. The more leaves you have they transpire more, so if there's any foliage you can afford to lose...I'd chop it, especially being in the veg cycle, more will grow.
