•••••••••••••••••••••••••• Oct. 26 - Nov. 1 •••••••••••••••••••••••••• 👩‍🌾 SOWED: Aug. 9th 🕛 12/12 START : Oct.18th 🗓️ WEEK 3 of FLOWERING 🏁 ESTIMATED FINISH: Dec 17th - Dec. 22nd •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• WEEKLY SUMMARY: •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• 🙋‍♀️Fo' Twenny here!🙋‍♀️ Back with another update on our mostly Indica (70%) photo-dependant cultivar, 👩‍🔬🧚‍♀️ LSD, bred by BARNEY'S FARM! I am trying a new format for the weekly summary portion of my diary. Let me know what ya'll think! 👃 AROMA: She smells like chlorophyll and herbs but not very pungent at this point. It's still early in flower, so her terpenes are not very noticeable yet. I am excited to experience the evolution of her terpene profile as she progresses through flower. One of my favorite aspects of growing cannabis is how much these plants change from start to finish and how much variation is possible with this plant. ❇️ BUD STRUCTURE: Her first calyxes are just starting to form. She has bright white pistils shooting out from the few calyxes she has developed. It's still very early, and anything can happen. As always, I am going to stay optimistic about this girl. Sometimes the little ones pack the biggest punch! 🎨 Color: She is a nice healthy bright shade of green with green calyxes. 🌿 STEM, STRETCH, & INTERNODES: She is starting to stretch significantly. She's got nice thick stems and internodes are fairly tight. ✂️ TRAINING/PRUNING: I am being very selective with her defoliation until she finishe her stretch. I remove no more than 10% of foliage at any one time and I space out defoliation with a minimum of 3 days between sessions. I remove leaves facing inward towards the main stem in the center. I make sure to only remove older leaves 3-4 nodes below the tip of the growth shoot. I only remove leaves that are blocking light and airflow. This helps increase light penetration and can help prevent overgrowth can lead to botrytis or other fungal infections later in flower. She has been trained to have 8 main shoots and I am using LST techniques to gently bend her stems to evenly fill her space without overcrowding. ❄️TRICHOMES/RESIN PRODUCTION: Resin glands are just starting to develop on her newly formed calyxes. 🚿 WATER/FEED: I have continued with a light bidiurnal misting of White Dutch Clover cover crop . This, in conjunction with running lower temps (New AC), has seemed to have drastically increased feeding intervals. My plants are needing much less water than in previous runs. I typically give the whole SOG one feed per week with light watering of select individual cultivars as needed between feeds. I try my best to "read" my garden. The amount of water between feeds depends on how soon the next feed will be. I feed the garden as a whole and this run I have been generally spacing feeds out about 4-6 days when the the first plant shows beginning signs of wilt (slight droop of lower fan leaves). 📝 OBSERVATION/NOTES: She doesnt appear to have any signs of stress, deficiency, or toxicity. She looks very happy and healthy! Any advice, suggestions, or constructive criticisms are always welcome. Now, for the weekly break down! •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• THIS WEEK'S BREAK DOWN •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• 10/29 - Day 81/Day 12 of Bloom °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° 🚿 FEED DAY 🚿 The cultivar received approximately 1 gallon of solution. I mixed 17 gallons of solution for 17 plants. The solution is applied via wand sprayer powered by a submersible pump attached to a garden hose. The reservoir is oxygenated by four 4 inch air stones. 👩‍🔬NUTRIENT SOLUTION👩‍🔬 ⬇️Mixing Rundown⬇️ The solution starts with 17 gal tap H2O through two KDF filters mixed in a 36 gallon reservoir. Barney's... Barney's... Barney's my numero uno. My plan -hopefully it happens- is to plant 10 different pheno Indicas from them. 5 of them 100% Indica such as Ayuhasca Purple or 8 Ball Kush rest is just 80 and 90%.... like Purple Punch or Triple Cheese... Barney's gives me the dream effect of the smokes @FoTwenny

That's great to see @FoTwenny Right after my first grow I'll start another one with autos only and LSD is on that list! It's great that I'll be able to watch your grow first and "inhale" some knowledge before I start ;) Btw. You've got a big ass project running. I can only applaud to that. Great work so far :) CU, much love and peace!

@FoTwenny, if it has any of the characteristics, a LSDish kind of high, even in the slightest way then I'm down with it! :D I love how people support each other here on Growdiaries. It's a truly fantastic community :)

@FoTwenny, Looks like out of 16 seeds germinated for me I will only have 7 decent ones, I am taking a page from your playbook, - converting an old but awesome looking TV cabinet into a Veg / Clone set up - bought some root riot plugs as well :)
