Got everything in the tent set up and pre watered my pots with filtered water ph6.5. Let them sit overnight to acclimatize to the tent’s environment. Put seeds straight into soil about 1 cm deep on Saturday around noon. Got some great white mycorrhizae delivered on Sunday so I sprinkled a dash on top of my soil and spritzed a few times with a spray bottle. Still waiting for signs of life.
My think different seeds didn’t pop... TWICE. so I started 2 Bk suns and only got one of them to pop. So I’m 3 for 6 on germination. But that’s about to change. My order from mephisto came in and I’m pleased to announce 2 new members of the grow are expected shortly. They’re freebies. A cross between 3 Bears OG x sour bubbly. Gonna keep them in 1 gal fabric pots after they spend some time in the solo cup. Otherwise I think we are looking pretty good so far. A couple fungus gnats but that’s to be expected with soil i suppose. Talk to ya next week.
Pretty solid week of growth. Played around with LST, but decided against it. I’m just enjoying watching how the plants grow naturally for my first run. I know I’m going to need a bigger space/ light for the flowering stage so I’m planning that out. Will probably just grab a 240w LED from alibaba.
Wow look at these girls take off. Honestly everything has been pretty easy so far… maybe a little too easy. Really looking forward to the coming weeks!
Another week in the books and look how far we’ve come. Really happy to have set up the closet with that fantastic new light. The plants seem even happier, and that’s all that matters.
Time flies when you’re having fun with a new hobby. Can’t really say I’ve run into too many issues yet besides these ladies getting bigger than I anticipated. I suppose that’s a good problem to have. Is growing cannabis supposed to be this easy?
Hey kids it’s your old pal tumbleweedman. Not much more to report other than it’s a damn pleasure to watch these things grow. Now we are really getting into the exciting part haha.
All the plants are in various stages of flowering so it is starting to smell very interesting in the closet. The soil is becoming hydrophobic which makes watering an even more laborious task than it already is. I suspect the rewards will be well worth it though.
Not sure if I’m seeing yellowing from nitrogen deficiency, nutrient lockout, or just a natural fade. This is the most concerned I’ve been about my plants yet. Theyre still doing their thing but something is awry.
I just came to accept that when you are growing organically, you’re going to see the plant consume itself somewhat as it flowers. I’m seeing daily progress and they really seem to be enjoying the new tent and light. Seeing the balls freaked me out and I considered chopping her right then and there but I did some digging and it might be an issue with the strain. I think I got to it early enough and I’m going to keep a close eye on her.
I love watching these buds swell I must say. Considering a staggered harvest on Colorado cookies because the tops look ripe and the bottoms are still growing, but just today she put out more white pistils and I think she’s gonna hit a another growth spurt here. We shall see I might change my mind. She definitely looks good enough to enjoy as is!
