she has taken her first solo flight and i am her to see her grow and to see how i did with a super skunk x eagle bill cross. i spent a lot of time researching the eagle bill, i am a fan of super skunk for its massive yields and her sweetness, the eagle bill had a haze feel, real smooth and tasted great. i will run this test as i am looking for certain traits of this cross. this is a journey that you will see evolve from a small seed to a seedling to a vegging plant and finally to a flowering plant with a harvest. I will try to explain the whole process so you too can grow your own.
i let the seed germinate right in a small rock wool cube that was first dampened with a water and clonex solution of 1 tbl spoon per gal. . 14.7868ml. i soak the cube and lightly shake off excess water, i drop a seed in the hole. i mad a dome using a empty 2 liter bottle that was cut in half. the cube went inside the dome. the dome went in to the tent with a 300 led that the timer is set for 19 hours. now you say 19 hours why so? my reason is simple, years ago i traveled to Alaska. the sun was up for a long time. i had some weed form there that i must say was some of the best i smoked in awhile. after that i experimented with this light cycle, 20 on and 4 off. i tried 21 on and 3 off, i liked the 18 12. i came across the 19 hour and 5 off cycle as a happy spot for our cannabis seeds to grow, and the story began and some real dank was grown and smoked. the veg time, your plant will suck up that light and still have a good night to sleep and rest. i have seen plants, autos grown full on 24 hrs, yes they get huge, only because they flower and stretch, i grow photo strains so with the lights always on i will get slower growth. a plant needs a natural rest period just like anything alive. i wait until i see the tap root come out of my started cube. Now i place this cube in to a bigger rock wool cube, but before i place it in the next cube, the bigger cube like the smaller one has been soaked in the same clonex water. i sprinkle 1 tbl spoon of mykos extreme gardening into the hole on the bigger cube, i lightly water the hole where i just put this powder that is made for roots. this helps the cannabis to really take off. you put the cube right on to this with the tap root. so direct contact. (instead of bigger cube you can use soil, coc, dwc. your starter cubes are great for starting seeds. root riot cubes are really nice to start seeds in as well. you can sprout seeds in paper towel, ect. all kinds of ways that work nicely.
i wait about 3-4 days and i start a small feed. instead of using a larger dose of nutrients i use about a 1/4 of the amount.
I a using just 1 teaspoon per gal of npk grow and the same mix of 2 teaspoons of clonex per gallon. i water the bigger cube until a small run off. i pick the cube up and i remember the weight of the cube, you can use this with soil and coco so you will know when to water your new cannabis grow. i do nothing now except i will check the weight of the cube every other day. i do not mess with the plant i just let her be. she is young stil and i just want her to grow, give her clonex to develop roots so they will spread out. until next week
she is up and still going, she looks real happy and healthy, i am going for 5 weeks in veg then flip, but it may be sooner as i need all the space i can get, this is a cross of super skunk x eagle bill that i am calling Holy Surfer
she is very happy and healthy, i am going to flower her soon, as i am on a time limit with this, i would like to go longer but for now ill settle with what i can ger, i took off the bottom set of leaves as they were touching the top of the cube.
she is up and looking happy, i ended up topping her, she will have 6 tops it looks like, i will put her into flower later today. she looks very happy and healthy and i am interested in
seeing her flower as well as taste her. this is a super skunk x eagle bill cross. super skunk is a nice strain and if you ever smoked it you will know why i wanted this to be the mother donor. eagle bill is a nice smoke that has a nice high. i think the cross will be nice and i am hoping to bring out that old skunk they used to get eagle bill, as well with some of the haze. so far so good.

she has been smelling real dank these last few days, she now smells like a sweet dank and dead fruit. she is looking like she may change color before she is done.
she looks really tasty and i am looking forward to smoking this. she looks like she may be a 8 week plant, ill try to take her to 9 weeks, so two more weeks and i will chop. so far so good and nothing beats staying stoned all the time, forget all the politics, give me my herb and leave me be.

the strain is really nice to smoke on, it has a real smooth high with a great taste. next thing you know it, your really stoned. it kind of reminds me of a haze but that is the eagle bill genetics, the sweetness comes from the super skunk. i will def. grow this one again later so i can see how much i can push this plant. the strain grew out real nice, she is a big yielding plant and has a nice balanced effect. pretty impressed with this strain so far/ it is one of my own creations. i will now take a break and will be back growing in a month or so, it is winter here and ill use the time until my next grow to smoke some weed each day and enjoy some hash with the weed.

@blendmedmedman, I don't doubt your skills to do it at all. I do find that with lst and how I tend to train, I don't get that much fluctuation in how I need to gerow them. It tends to end up about node lengths really i suppose. Well worth the extra effort too , still kotnas brave as 16 though heehee. Good luck.
@Ganjagrandaddy, yeah i did way too much on this grow, but i am working it, i try to do only 8 but for some reason i chose to do about 16, i am hoping it all turns out nice
@CodyCannabis, she will smoke real nice. i am getting excited to be the first person in the universe to try her. so far HOLY SURFER looks great.
i may pop one next run. very nice i say, and i bet she looks good next time too.
