Sat August 22, 2020 This is my second tent grow, and the third grow in total (I have Blue Dream outdoor plants just beginning to flower).. 3 Seeds were soaked in water for 15 hours, then transferred to wet paper towel as instructed by the Crop King Seeds literature I received with the seeds. Same process followed for the Blueberry Auto also from Crop King Seeds They were planted into soil in larger Jiffy Pots August 21st. Being kept moist with dechlorinated water from a spray bottle. The girls have been given appropriately cheesy names....Ms. Stilton, Swiss Miss and Cheesy Poof. They will be mates with an auto Blueberry (“BooBerry”) sprouted and planted the same time. I am currently trying to decide whether to top any or all of them, but will be doing LST on all three. I know opinion on topping auto’s is, to put it mildly, divided! I currently have 2 auto Jack Herer’s heading into week 4 of flower. One I topped pretty early on (I didn’t keep proper records of this grow), the other several days later. The first topped seems to be doing fine. The one topped several days later took longer to recover. She is in flower but the sites do not seem as robust as the other. My instinct is to top them all pretty early on. Aug 23 Girls were all dry this am and I panicked a bit, but then saw that all 3 were starting to sprout woo hoo! BooBerry sprouted as well, later this afternoon Warm humid day today so I realized they would likely be happier outside as they sprout, will bring them in when the sun goes down or if we get any rain Aug 24th Ack! I left the seedlings out last night and Cheesy Poof was eaten by something ! Part of her starter leaf is in the dirt and there is not much on top. I don’t think she will make it but we will see! Aug 27th Cheesy Poof seems to be alive. Not much growth but the tip of her stem is still green. Added more dirt to their pots as they are starting to get taller. Rainy and dark day here so I have put them in the smaller grow tent (2x3x57) under the 1000watt LED. Worried about them getting burnt so I have light up high. Need to find out what the distance should be at this stage

Hello! I have put my 7 day old auto cbd cheese seedlings into my 25x36x57 tent with a 1000LED as there is no sun outside today. How far is a safe distance away from the light for such younglings? They will eventually be a tent grow under 1200 watt LED in a 3x3x72

Yeah, what the others said. Tho, I'd say a couple of minutes rather than a single one, just to be sure. Heat builds up slowly if it's not instantly burning.. I don't know how much heat your 1000w lets out, but my 300w starts damaging the plant at around 10 cm, so I keep it at minimum 20cm away. So your 1000w probably shouldn't get closer than 30cm, while 40 - 45 is probably better. - Though, measuring the heat with your hand will get you a better idea.. Just test it out at different levels and fins out what suits you. ^_^

Aug 30th The girls all seem to be doing very well, including Cheesy Poof who had her starter leaves chewed. Keeping them moist, in jiffy pots still so I can monitor soil dampness. September 1, 2020 Omg! Went down last night to install the filter and fan In the autos’ tent for and the Jiffy Pots had mold on the sides! Realized I had been keeping them “outdoors moist” and that and the humidity in the tent was too much clearly! Spent the next while moving the girls into their fabric pots without the jiffy cup. Was a little tricky with Ms. Stilton, she had the rougher transplant. Overall I think it went well. Then got the fan and filter set up and adjusted the light height. They seem to have suffered no ill effects and are growing fast and healthy looking. Very pleased with the Crop King seeds! Things I have learned Don’t water indoor seedlings as much as outdoor! Fan is required even for tiny babies
