The Wedding Cheesecake used to be a creeper in terms of growth and bud development.
She took the longest of all, however, looked very good and healthy until a certain point.
She really started packing up and had some vigurous badass growth.
The smell also exploded in Week 10.
You could start to get hints of a strong, pungent cheese-smell.
Not much to say. She was very healthy and great still, beautiful smell and the looks.. Just awesome.
She packed some weight aswell and started developing lots of sticky trichomes.
Now week 14 was when shit started.
Wedding Cheesecake was just such a fucking diva, unbelievable. She started having signs of overfeed while she got a very light feed compared to the Orange Sherbet.
Both are sativa-dominant phenos and both should somehow react the same.
But the WCK never came back. She just started fading and it seemed like she had several issues.
Nothing TOO bad though, flush process started on week 13 with plain water, got some Canna Flush in Week 14.
Being into flush, she packed some more weight.
This was 1 day prior to week 15 and she was supposed to get another 8 days of plain water and chill, until getting chopped.
She had some nutrient/fade problems since a little more than a week but besides that she still looked fine. Still..
Technically, we are in mid of week 15. Didn't wanna put all the pics together with the others from 1 day prior to week 15, so I seperated into "week 16".
This was an emergency harvest. They were supposed to get another plain osmosis watering tomorrow and stay for 4-5 more days at max.
However, the Wedding Cheesecake started herming very badly. I had 3 pollen sacks early on in veg but got rid of them and didn't have another problem, until now.
This pissed the shit out of me... Really mad. She was looking so perfectly fine and so close to harvest she became even more of a diva.
Little seeds and micro seeds are shooting up on most of the smaller buds and even some of the big ones. I cut off 6-7 nanners today and while doing so, I realised that the whole plant started developing seeds.
This was a big downer for me.. She still has that super dank, skunky cheese-smell with sweet hints and I do believe that I will make the best out of it, but I won't give her a good review since this is the first experience I've done with the WCK Auto and I'm always honest in my reviews.
She will probably pack some 140-170 grams dry but still.. I have to work my ass off to get all these fucking seeds and micro seeds out after drying.
HAVE FUN, ME! ... 😣
It's also a shame I was in a rush, so I couldn't do the quality pictures I did with the Gelato, Blackberry and Zkittlez.. However, it's not the end of the world. It is just really tilting due to the fact that I've just done a small scale grow lately indoors and couldn't finish the way I shoulda. And I think I deserved it, I made little to no mistakes and had mindfucking stress the past few months. Each week got worse and worse and now this happens.. Kinda the tip of the ice berg.
Thanks growdiaires for forcing me to review now... Whats the point in this? Why can't I review a plant a couple of days later? Like this you're forced to review when you can't give a proper one yet you don't want to wait on posting the dry pics for a month or two..
Thats really really bad.
I can't give the plant a better rating even tho I really would love to.
The smell and growth was so good up to the point when she started getting stressed out more and more everyday. I literally didn't do a single thing different than to the Orange Sherbet, which turned out perfectly fine.
Once she started showing signs of a overfeed- I stopped feeding her for a week. She yellow'ed even worse and I gave her a little feed again - even more signs of an overfeed occured (such as burned leaf tips) ?!?! What a fucked up plant...
The smoke I did so far was only 2 joints and one smoked really smooth and well while the other one was terrible. Not much taste due to not even 2 weeks cure.
I hope that the next time I pop one, I will get a more stable pheno that won't start hermie'ing and being an incredible diva in her last stages of flowering.
I will review the Strain in a few days. All I can say- my worst Hermie experience.
The trichome shots were made on dry buds. Therefore, they're pretty ok I'd say. Just remember: in the drying process you will also lose ~70% of the outter trichomes due to deflagration.
Had to trim 7-8 hours on the Wedding Cheesecake, to get rid off the most micro seeds that were not on the inside of the buds. Two day operation.
I did 2 smoke tests, but without a proper cure you can't really give a proper review. All I can say to that is - 1 smoked fine and smooth and 1 really badly.
The fact that the plant hermied so badly will influence my review. Stay tuned for the smoke review..
Oh and last but not least- the trim heap was bigger than the amount of buds I had after trimming. Never trimmed off as much as on this lady. She probably could've been a 150g+ dry weight without the hermie'ing.
@@JaySin, HAHAHA I LOVE TO MAKE THE "WHO SAID MONEY DOESN'T GROW ON TREES" REFERENCE ASWELL 😂!
Happy I'm not the only one hahaha. Cheers brother.
Yeah I didn't have a hermie in a long time, on autos you can have the issue if you go over time. But this lady should've had a few more days left so thats why I was really mad.. I did everything as careful and good as I could but sometimes you can't handle nature. Even if you simulate it.
@Topshelf420, had same problem buddy but I accepted shit happens. was pissed at first but I'm sure once you smoke a nice spliff of her all will be forgiven 😁 good weight by the sounds of it to, and who said money doesn't grow on trees 😂👍 nice1 buddy
I feel you on the unstable genetics. I had same problem with a recent Star Dawg. Was insane. Threw self into flower like Day 3 veg. Took its sweet time in flower, got all picky near the end (I thought I would hermie eventually too). the most wierdest nugs ever to trim. I swear, I felt like I saw shaving meat of a kebab. It was just constant running up and down the cissors on this thick fat vegital material. The nugs to this day, properly cured, are so filled with paper squishy vegital mass (its like a wasps nest kind of paper texture)... Just very odd and "never seen before" and my only conclusion is the genetics they are crossing has issues. It was so bad, I am convinced of writting off autos all together, and I sadly don't think I'd order from 420 any more. Except that orange sherbert perhaps ehehehe
@Topshelf420, The reason I grew autos was for time saving and shorter plant because I am stuck in a 2x2x6 space...So far, I have grown 3, and only one stayed short and fast (LSD auto barney's). The rest...one took longer than a fem, and another grew as big as a femenized (and took as long)... So 1 out of 3 ... it makes me want to just top fems and wait longer for a more stable result... however... there is something addicting about growing, and adjusting to auto mutations...it's almost part of the fun of it all... so I probably will grow an auto again XD
@@GreenGrowGreen, hmm well I feel sorry for you mate.
I've only run one Stardawg so far and it did indeed look crippled early, was a small plant with less veg time than the others but the end result blew me away.
I noticed that many autos may look a bit weird on the early term and will eventually even have mutations going on, but once they flip into flower everything turns out well.
Only had this many and annoying problems with the WCK. However, now after 1 month cure it tastes super special and even has a great turn. No harsh smoke. But the trim was... ugh.
I can only tell you to try a bigger run with maybe 2 or 3 genetics at max, then you will see how beautiful autos can really be.
I'm gonna do photos again, soon but due to other reasons.. Will always love my autos and run more in the future possibly.
Relax brother, (or sister), (or non binary mermaid queen/king), its all good. If it's still stinken the place up then its still quality. A little extra work never hurt a soul, its still a beautiful plant and if your stress level is as bad as you say, its still going to melt away when you light it up!!!
@@pizzaman841, haha I have problems with relaxing the last months indeed... Only stress from all sides. Society is not really a good thing either here.. Betrayal from my best friends coming in as the tip of the ice berg.
The lady is having a great smell right now after 9 days dry and 8 (or 9? not sure, don't have my pattern on me right now) days cure.
I will start a heavy smoke test in a few days. At least 14, better 21 days cure.
The trimming whatsoever was the worst experience I've ever had. Took me something like 7 or 8 hours for this 1 plant... I cut off most of the foxtails, which were packed with micro seeds and had to cut out TONS of micro seeds. Probably more than 200.. Didn't count. Was a 2 day operation.
@blendmedmedman, thanks brother.
Even though I had a hermie-desaster in the end, I will make the best out of it.
The Orange Sherbet is getting posted aswell now, she turned out absolutely dankylicous, amazing and smelly as nothing else (only the Blackberry can compete with this lady).
Can't wait to test her soon!
