the waterworks come covered in some olie residue and i only did a few rinses. I think it kept the ph high for some time and i did a few more water cycles after complete setup. Everytime getting rit of more oil film. I like the bucketd rinsed the leca pepples in high ph tap water and again it took me some time to get ph down but this time no oil residue :) After a few days i felt i got ph under control so started the canna nutes schedule.

I found a good method to maintain the system so installed extra pump as drain in ctrl bucket and use the one it came with as mixer in the resovar. Now its easy to maintain water, flick switches and add what ever, let it run for an hour. if drain is needed lift hose out and turn on pump. I water proved the outside probe and have it in the controller bucket.

Ok quite alot happening this week... Finaly the last sp 3000 arrived, as with the first one i took of the driver and dimmer of. The mount for dimmer was missing a screw only to be noticed as the dimmer no longer helt it in place. Instead i mount them on chains and fan cool them and the one end of the PCB, with usb clipon fans. It keeps board and driver 5 to 10 degrees lower with theoretical performance and lifetime improvement. This model seems to be rev.1 as the cabinet has the mars logo on its side as i have seen in early previews and not like the first i got where its on the top. Also the dimmer color is gray compared to white on what seems to be rev.2 Daisy chained dimmer works np.

They are really comming along now but we had some warm days so i added intake and extra exaust fan. I even had to add a swamp cooler to help keep temp in check not least the water over which it blows. Surpisingly the high temp and lots of water running does not raise humidity so also here the swamp cooler does a great job. Im really fighting to keep temp down lucky i only need to run lamps at 75% :) At nighy its freaking cold around 5 degrees outside so there i fight to keep it warm :) I ordered a swamp cooler for the purpose to replace two personal ones i had laying around. Came in the next day and look whst just arrived also a PH/EC meter :))) The same water have been running with no the need to touch it just over a week and plants are doing great. im gonna change a bucket and change it to 30ml and in a day or two change 35l to 30ml. If not because of nutes then atleast to fresh up water an minimize bad bacteriers or germs. Ending the week by gently start leaf tug.

nice weather mid week so took out all non dwc plants out to prune and to clean room and have prober look at dwc plants. Notice one plants have roots above ground drinking strait from the tube. Im not sure to read something from it other than its dark wet and airy as they always seek it. But it could be lack of air or water in the substrate.
