Week start:
So far they are coming along well as they are stumbling into week 2, gold leaf (Goldilocks) actually is a little bit behind everyone due to sprouting a little slower. Hopefully she isn't too slow a grower. The 2 Autos being grown this run were put into high soil (ocean forest) and perlite mixes to see if going to an almost 50/50 mix is more effective.
Week end:
All of them are doing well. The autos Baskin (White Widow) and Janet have established themselves in their final pots and got their first full watering 9/7. Miguel (Skywalker OG) and ScarJo (Black widow) were topped 9/7. ScarJo has been a little droopy likely due to being a bit rootbound and ready for transplant. Will be putting her in a new home soon. Merry Berry (strawberry kush) looks well as does Goldilocks (Good Leaf). Will top both of them at 3 or 4 nodes.
Week Start:
So far all are developing well. ScarJo (black widow) was pretty ready to be transferred by the time I put her in the pot so the others must be ready soon. Gold-ilocks has a bit more time, but Miguel and Merry Berry must be ready for transplant now. Unfortunately my flower tent is still full for another week or so, so I'll have to let them be a tad bit rootbound.
Week End:
Everybody has been transplanted into new bigger pots! Of the photoperiods, ScarJo and Miguel got the short end of the stick and are in 2.6 gallons, while Goldilocks and Merry Berry are in 5 gallons. Miguel and ScarJo will be transplanted once their roots are long enough. All of them have been transplanted using a mycorrizhae treatment on the roots. All of them seem to have little to no transplant shock but time will tell. Janet and Baskin are still on the 12-12 schedule in the flower tent. Since they are autos, I'm not worried about the schedule effecting their growth much, but hoping to get them back in the 16-8 schedule soon, after the harvest of a previous grow.
Week start:
ScarJo has taken really well to the mainline and will need to be topped again later this week. Berry however is still behind. I'm sure she'll bounce back soon, but I've learned my lesson on too much stress too soon.
Day 4:
All of the girls got some LST done, with ScarJo getting defoliated and topped once more to finish the MainLine. now we'll be topping her every few nodes until flower. Baskin bounced back well from super crop, though is still recovering. Merry Berry is almost ready to be topped again in a day or two. Supercropped her tops like I did for ScarJo so we should be seeing some more bud sites the grow goes. Miguel had two side branches at 3 nodes and I topped them. LST was done to spread the branches out more. I'll do more have defoliation on Miguel once they've bushed up again. Goldilocks had their top leaves defoliated. Janet because she is so bushy actually had no training outside if 2 leaves being snipped. I'll do more defoliation and lollipopping on on Janet and Baskin (the two autos) once they start preflowers.
I also switched to using the Green Gro nutrients as a top dress. Topdressing is going to be done on Saturday (day 3) or Sunday (day 4).
Week start
Now as we enter week 5 all of the plants are getting day to day LST. I've also had to stop the foliar feeding because the spray bottle gave out on me after 2 full grows, rip in pepperonis spray bottle I knew ye well.
So Goldilocks, special 3 node branch is definitely showing signs of 3 distinct bud sites per node. May try to clone from that arm and see how it goes. Baskin is just being observed right now, as it hasn't gotten much taller but it has gotten bushier. Janet, ScarJo, and Miguel have been the most rigorous interns of LSTneeds. I can't wait to see how they go over the next 3 or 4 weeks of veg. Lastly, Merry Berry was just topped again a day ago, and had the 2nd nodes removed.
Week start
The autoflowers Janet and Baskin have just hit flower and are showing pistils. Did a little bit of defoliation on both of them, though Janet seems to have the most even top. Miguel and ScarJo were just transplanted into 5 gallon pots and Miguel had some heavy defol done. Though neither didn't seem to have much if any transplant shock. Merry Berry and Goldilocks were also topped at all remainingstems with three nodes. This will be the last time I top the gitls c and from here on Will be doing only light defoliation and LST. For the two autoflowers I'm gonna feed with additional seabird Guano while trying transitioning to flower. And only the autos are going to get there bloom too, the photos are only on veg nutes.
Week start:
Flipped them to flower on 10/8, so they just have had their first 12hour night and I can't wait to see how they turn out. Will be doing a mix of bloom and veg as a top dress (approx. 2-3 tbs per gallon of soil if the veg nutes, and 2 tbs per gallon of the bloom series), and also giving them all am early flower boost of Seabird Guano (1tbs/gal) to all of the photos this time around.
Week start (10/16😅):
Topdress for this week will be all bloom. they should be finishing up with the stretch and if they need any extra N, it should be plenty in the soil and amendments. Growth is going well and starting to see some preggty good and aggressive buds growth. Been doing some slight defoliaton to remove leaves blocking budsites.
Week end:
So far the growth is going well, but I noted some strange discoloration on the leaves of ScarJo. Will need to keep an eye on it to see what's going on there, but so far it's something I haven't seen before. Might be light burn
So far so good. Did some serious defoluatiin on the photos and the are getting a lot of light on all the budsites. Looking forward to seeing how they turn out :)
This is the second plant to do this. I am not sure why this happened maybe bad luck, maybe the fungus gnats, maybe the diotamaceuos earth. Will be eyeing the rest of the tent to make sure others are caught in time
