HikeHigh Fun first week - Installing the Infinity inline fan, carbon filter and exhaust out the window was challenging, but rewarding. I have added a humidifier to the mix, and am now able to control the environment. I am using passive air flow ( 4x5 inch netted vent) from bottom of tent, for now. I may need to add a temp control fan at one point, temps not surpassing 75 degrees with lights on. I have learned a lot in the past two weeks, and look forward to your help along the way!

HikeHigh Transplant week into final pot -5lbs Environmental changes: 1) lowered light to 21 inches 2) increased light to 20 hours 3) added a tower oscillating fan Plant responded positively to transplant. Two drinks this week, no nutes.

HikeHigh I fimmed her two days ago. I deep fimmed another, an topped a third. Environmental changes: 1) lowered light to 20 inches 2) changed the passive air intake to the opposite side lower vent on tent, hoping cooler air will find its way...this change has averaged a 2° reduction in temperature with lights on over the last 72 hours Two drinks over last 9 days, one pure another with nutes. My watering method is pot weight initially to get a gauge on how much each individual plant is absorbing. In this case, the pot,dry, weighed 19.8 pounds five days ago prior to being watered. I weighed it this morning, and it weighed 20 pounds. I watered it with 88 ounces of water at 6.4 pH. Runoff was approximately 9 ounces, with pH at 5.6 Since transplanting into the 5 gallon pot and with the amount of Ocean Forest Foxfarm soil in the pot, I find 88 ounces to be Her #.

HikeHigh Environmental changes: Updated passive air, 4 inch 20 ft flex ducting hose from lower corner vent, now shuttling middle vent. This allows flexibility with pulling in warmer or cooler air by placement of hose opening -Pantyhose on end to filter the unwanted.. This improvement coincides with also preparing the space for flowering down the road/ night light reduction. She has responded well to the FIM, still not sure on cola count. Stalk training began this week.

HikeHigh The week went smooth. I was able to take the humidifier out of the tent now the plants are deep into veg. Due to travel plans, I’m going to veg for another 3-4 weeks.

HikeHigh Much defoliation this week. Plant was thinned considerably- she reacted on spot. Incorporating a trellis for additional LST training. On the road this week so monitoring tent via camera and hydrometer.

HikeHigh I was out of town most of the week, so other than watering they did not see much attention. I transplanted all plants into containers between 5 and 8 gallons due to the extended veg cycle. The 3 gallon pots were somewhat root bound, but had no issue with any of the transplants - no signs of shock. This will allow for a pretty good boost in growth over the next 3 to 4 weeks before we start bloom.

HikeHigh Traveling so monitoring greenhouse from the camera. It comes in handy when I’m bored; I can follow temp, humidity, fans and lights. Defoliated quite a bit, trellis net, lights up to 22 inches.

HikeHigh Flipped the switch this weekend. Some signs on leaves of possible cal deficiency so introduced cal/mag. Using double trellis nets(loosely) in an attempt to limit the stretch. The plants vegged a few weeks longer than planned due to unexpected travel. The tent is 6 feet so I have about 16 inches of comfortable growth space before I go MacGyver.

HikeHigh In order to reduce stretching and node distance, I have increased nighttime temperature to around 75°, then lowering the temperature to 68° once the lights kick on in the morning,maintaining at the lower differential for three hours. Only a 2 inch height increase since flower initiated.

HikeHigh Stretch is close to over. Full tent with three plants. Continue to rotate plants and LED. Watering today, I noticed branches were less pliable and some stickiness starting.

HikeHigh Newly installed Smart inline exhaust fan has really allowed me to button up the temperature and humidity range. Buds starting to form and branch pliability decreasing quickly.

HikeHigh Final defoliation completed. Buds fattening up, especially last 72 hours. Please chime in on the trichome pictures.

HikeHigh Flushed all the plants today. I water every 3rd day, so maybe two more flushings before harvest.

HikeHigh Fun grow, treated each plant with a different growing techniques - Fim, Top, Lst, super-cropping, etc. Surprised on yield using basic $130.00 Bestva. Dry weight over 1/3 of a pound. They hung for 5 days. I put time into flushing and Trichome viewing, willing to sacrifice THC content for a more energetic medicine. I nailed the harvest based off of partly/mostly cloudy trichs(pic above). The weed is gas, top-shelve, better than the 21.5% thca GC I purchase through dispensary. Very, Very pleased with results. Biggest mistakes made on this grow: 1) 2 initial pots too small for 10 week veg requiring a tricky late veg transplant. 2) not using cal/mag in mid Veg. 3) allowing humidity to drop too low while drying buds in tent - final product is a little brittle.
