The previous beastly growth of this bag seed had to be tamed before flower week. I needed sufficient airflow through this canopy and as you can see from the pictures, IT WAS VERY BUSHY. The plant has really responded great to the LST, Topping and FIMMING, shown by the branch networking in the pictures above
-As i did with my other plants in the tent; I cut the recommended FOX FARM nute feed in half because I was experiencing nute burn on all my plants. They've been responding well to the new feed and they all look pleased.
-Very cathartic defoliation sesh actually, and I was able to see the actual potential this girl had going. The node stacking looks great, so I'm really excited to see the bud development during flower.
-I'm really big on the VPD so ensuring there's proper airflow in the tent is a big thing. Intending on running a 1.0 VPD through flower as well so this defoliation is really a key step in preventing mildew on my plants.
The CAKEZ is now the thirstiest plant in the tent, had to water a whole day before the other plants. It just wasn't having it, it looked very depressed. These plants can be so finicky unfortunately lol. They'll look so depressed and droopy the second they go thirsty, i must've been spoiling them too much. Nothing but love though.
At the end of the week the lights were flipped to 12/12 and now expecting some great bud development. :D :D :D
